My Rescuer

    When I woke up I am no longer trapped inside the pool of water, but instead I am lying in a bed that made of wood covered with withered leaves under a big tree, when I moved I can feel my hands and legs again, I am already healed from the poison of the gigantic crocodile.

Then Analiza came coming from the other side of the tree.

"How do you feel now my dear?" She asked me worried.

"I am fine now, I can freely move my whole body." I said, trying to get up from the bed, but I suddenly felt dizzy.

"Careful my dear, the antidote is still in your system that is why you still feel a little ill, but don't worry after two more hours, you will be totally fine."

"Thank you, Analiza who rescued me from the water? And who takes us out from the cave?" I asked her still wondering who came to our aid.

"I will tell him now that you are awake, just wait here Malia, and stay lying on the bed please, so that you can recover quickly." She said smiling at me, I feel so tired, and I can't keep my eyes from closing again. I am wondering maybe Declan told the Seer that my ability is still hidden from the population of the academy, that is why she called me by my first name, whoever save me still doesn't know the truth about me.

"Are you going to sleep again Malia? Don't you want to see me now?" I heard his voice, and my eyes opened widely, I can feel my whole body recharged on its own just by hearing the soft voice of Flynn.

"Flynn! You came!" I am lost for words, I am so happy seeing him watching me closely. He moved to my side touching my face, then he slowly put me back on the bed, when I tried to rise to meet him. I never realized how much I miss him until now that he is in front of me giving me comfort.

   "I think you are trying to kill me Malia." He said seriously, and I am so confused about what he means.

   "You make my heart always worried about you, when you didn't show up to our meeting place, I know immediately that something is off, I looked for your friends, then they all told me that you didn't come back for dinner, they thought you were in the forest again spending time with your friends. I told them the truth that you are supposed to meet me in the meadow near the lake, but you stood me up." Flynn said while he continues touching my face and hair, his other hand is holding my right hand.

    I give him enough time to tell me everything, since I am still too tired to talk, but his comforting touch made me relax and feel better.

   "We looked for you in the magical forest, since the jungle is so wide and thick, we decided to ask the help of your friends, then it was the white snake who told us that you have been captured. She told me I needed to ask permission and help from the Goddess first, but I didn't listen to her, after I heard that you are here, I immediately use my power to locate you, but now I realized I should have listened to your friend in the first place." He said frustrated.

    "Why? You were able to take us out from the cave, it is a big achievement Flynn, we owed you our lives." I said looking up at his gorgeous blue eyes.

   "Yes, Malia only from the cave, but not from this place. We are still trapped, maybe if I should have paid attention to your friend I was able to get you out of here already. Now we are hiding from them, I tried my best to use all my magic to cast a concealing spell of our current location, but the place is covered with dark energy. Soon our hiding place will be discovered." He said looking around the forest.

    "What you have done is amazing Flynn, it is so dangerous to be here, yet you were able to rescued us all from the cave, and from that monstrous creature at the pond." I touched his face and smiled at him sweetly.

    He leaned down and kissed me softly, I can feel the rapid beatings of his heart and mine, I love to kiss him more, but I am a bit frustrated when he ended our kiss. He really cares, he knows that I am not yet fully recovered.

   "I wanted to kiss you more Malia, but I know you still need to recuperate, when you are completely healed Malia, I will shower you with kisses, but right now all you need to do is rest." He said then he lies down beside me on the bed still holding my hand. It seems like he can read my mind, I am also thinking about the same thing, I want to feel his long and passionate kiss once again.

   "I can't bring you back to the academy Malia, I never know that we can't make a portal from here using our magic, if you are a powerful fairy you can get in easily, but there is no way out. King Trelos is very clever." Flynn said.

   "I believed there is always a loophole in every magic created, so I will find a way to break the spell that protected us from coming out from here.

    "Just rest for now Flynn, you need also to regenerate your energy, before I passed out, I felt your energy inside the cave, but the poison already made me so sleepy." I said to him, looking at his handsome face.

"I was so scared looking at your motionless body under the water, I swam immediately, and because I was so angry I almost killed the crocodile, but before I can kill him, he surrendered asking me to spare his life. He belongs to the magical forest after all, I don't have the right to take his life especially that he conceded defeat." Flynn narrated to me what happened at the cave.

"I let him live and asked him for the antidote, after that he told me that the poison is not lethal, he just bit you to keep you under his control, but you still need the antidote from his own blood to recover your full energy. I freed him from the spell of the Dark King, but I reminded him to keep it a secret so that he will not be punished." Flynn said sounding calm.

"Where is Declan and the rest?" I asked him.

"They are on the other side of this big tree, resting. I wanted to make you a wonderful bed, but I am afraid that my magic will be detected, so please understand that I tried my best to make you a comfortable bed to rest." He said shyly.

"I don't care as long as you are with me, Flynn. I am so glad that you are here beside me." I said to him honestly.

   "I missed you so much Malia, more than words can say, I really do." He said giving me a quick pecked on my lips.

"Me too my Prince, I miss you so much." I said to him, I promised myself to tell him who I am the moment I see him again, but right now I am so afraid that he will get angry with me, it is not best to have misunderstanding inside this place, I will definitely tell him when we are free from the forbidden forest. He is a good person, so I think he will still like me if I tell him the truth.

   "I want to thank you, Malia, for helping Analiza, my father had been looking for her for a long time now, she said the dark king used him to locate the location of the lost princess, and I think it was her who gave them false information about you, she said it was your resemblance to Queen Thalassa that is why you have been identified as the lost Princess, but I already told her that you are only a half fairy." He said smiling at me, my guilt is eating my conscience big time.

   I turned away from him so that he can't see the tears that beginning to form on my eyes from the pain of not telling him the truth. He shifted his body closer to me, and he encased me with his arm. He made me felt so relaxed and peaceful, he is inhaling the scent of my hair, and I felt conscious since I didn't take a bath lately, when I was in the pool it was not considered bathing at all.

    I found Flynn gone when I was awakened by the sounds of the nocturnal beasts living inside the forbidden forest, I got up, and I am grateful that I feel brand new again. My full energy has fully come back. The whole place has been covered by total blackness of the night, but Flynn leave a torch on my bedside. I felt the coldness of the night.

     I wanted to change my school uniform into something comfortable, but I don't want Flynn to find out yet my true magic, besides we minimized using magic so that we will not be spotted by the enemies. I turned around the big tree and find them having a bonfire, I am sure Flynn used his magic to conceal our exact location, but I am still troubled that the dark army will find us soon.

    "Hey! How are you feeling Malia?" Asked Flynn happily, he summoned me to sit beside him on the log. The Seer is watching us intently. The moment I sat next to him he hugged me so closely, that made Declan to comment right away.

   "My dear cousin, I thought you were angry with me during our class when we discussed laws of Erthesia, but seeing you now cuddling Malia like that, it seems you admit defeat that indeed some laws of Erthesia is unfair." Declan said to Flynn without taking his eyes from him.

   "Yes! Prince Declan, for the sake of Malia, I admit that I was wrong, and I am sorry, and please stay away from my girlfriend from now on Declan, don't flirt with her anymore for I don't like it, and I hate it okay? She is taken already, you are the first one of my family member who knows about us, satisfied now?" Flynn told Declan about us, even it is nighttime I can still see that my boyfriend is blushing.

   "Thank you for the information Flynn, but she can be stolen, since you are only her boyfriend as of now, don't you think?" Declan teased his cousin.

    "Declan I am serious." The face of Flynn darkened, then I heard Declan's laughter, while the Seer smiled, while listening to them.

    "Relax, I am just joking Flynn, I know how much you care about her, you didn't know I was kidnapped so for sure, it wasn't me you were looking for." Said Declan, his laughter were gone and replaced with sadness.

   "To be honest yes! I didn't know you were with her, but for the record my dear cousin if I knew you were taken by the dark forces I will never have second thoughts on rescuing you, you are my best friend and the closest cousin for me, I hope you know that, Declan." Flynn said somberly.

   "Sorry! I know Flynn, and for your information I am not flirting with Malia, she is a good friend of mine, I wanted to court her to be honest, but I know among all the boys at the academy, she only wants you, she looked at you differently Flynn, I know a lot of guys from the royal family wanted her, but they all know they don't have a chance." Declan spoke to us sincerely, and his comments made me blushed, and I felt Flynn giving me kisses on my head.

Flynn and Declan prepared our food, my new found-friends, the wolves are located not so far away from us guarding the whole area, we also gave them food to eat.

We lingered on the bonfire planning on our next move, then after how many hours we decided to retire to our beds to have some energy for the coming day. Flynn decided to stay by my side for the whole night, and it makes me more thrilled and happy.
