My Stupid Heart

    The moment we arrive at Kentro, they brought me to the Frey Refreshment House, I really enjoy their fresh juices in Erthesia, it is made of pure fruits, berries and other sweet vegetable varieties, all you need to do is choose from the hanging basket without strings. It just simply floats near the counter, you just have to hand pick your own choice of fruit.

     I am still in awe of their ways of preparing our drinks, when a group of young fairies gets inside the refreshment house, I didn't bother looking at their faces, but when I heard the voice of Avery, I couldn't control myself, but to look at their group. I didn't expect to see Prince Flynn looking at me directly, I felt my face blush, no matter how many times I told myself to stop, it never listens, I am still under Prince Flynn's spell. I avoided his intriguing stares, and I talked to my friends.

      I excused myself to go to the restroom, because I am so conscious about my looks. I only wanted to see my appearance in the mirror, even though, Flynn is engaged, I still want to look good in his eyes. How I wish, I am the one in his arms right now, instead of the wicked Princess Avery. I used my magic to beautify myself, when I finally contented with my mien, I get out of the restroom.

    I almost scream loudly, when someone grab me from behind, the good thing is, he covered my mouth with his hand instantly, and then I am face to face with the only man I ever wanted to see, then he locked me in his arms with passion. Once again, I lost to his embraced, then I looked into his lips, and I unintentionally bite my lips.

"I hate it, when you do that Malia." He said in a whisper, then he captured my thirsty lips without delay, I wanted to push him away, but I don't want to, I still want to savor the sweet taste of his lips. I want to stop what we are doing, yet my stupid heart is begging me to enjoy the moment with him.

     We are kissing each other hurriedly, it looks like there is no tomorrow, our kisses became wild and hot. We stopped abruptly, when we heard footsteps coming into our way. But he didn't move away from me, he is still embracing me securely, and he is nibbling my ear sensually, that made my whole body alert, and longing for more.

I can hear both of our heartbeats, being this close to him, made me lose my sense of thought. Suddenly I can feel Prince Flynn's magic flowing within us, I realized he used a concealing spell. Then Princess Avery and Princess Suzanne come in front of us, but they didn't see us at all, I am impressed with his ability, I should try this kind of magic next time, I train with my aunt.

"Where is Prince Flynn? Malia is gone too? Do you think they are together," Asked Princess Suzanne.

"Of course not, Prince Flynn is only using her, there is something about that half blood, He said he can't tell me the reason yet, but he asked me to be patient with him, and I believed him of course, we have been engaged, there is nothing to worry about." Princess Avery said confidently, I struggled to get away from him, I heard enough.

"Aren't you doubtful, about his true feelings for you, what if he is lying to you?" Princess Suzanne asked again.

"Hey! I think you are on my side, the way you say it, it seems you are with Malia. Prince Flynn said, I will just wait until the Festival Ball, he told me, all my doubts will be gone, the moment the cord chooses us together as the Festival King and Queen, besides, he told me she really means nothing to him, there is just something he needs to learn about her." Princess Avery said happily.

    "Wow! He is already your fiance, but it is still romantic to hear, that he really loves you Princess Avery, you know most arranged marriages are done for alliance purposes only, I am happy for you." Princess Suzanne said, looking at Princess Avery with full of admiration in her face.

    "I can't wait for the Festival Ball, I am sure Prince Flynn, will tell me everything he feels about me, I am so excited about it. Let us go back to our table, maybe my Prince has come back already." Said Princess Avery, she is smiling sweetly.

How could I be so foolish, one kissed from Prince Flynn, and I am willing to forget everything he had done to me, and now I am the one who is suffering again, from humiliation and embarrassment. This time, I think my foolish heart will finally learn to accept the fact, that the crown prince of Erthesia is only playing games with me. I felt so weak, and if he is not only holding my whole body right now, I think I already break down on the floor.

    "Malia, please." Prince Flynn said, his voice is so soft.

     "Why are you doing this? You take advantage my feelings for you, just to use me for what? You can just ask me anything you want to know about me, and I will tell you, no need to use my weakness." I said, I can't hide the painfulness I felt, I struggled to escape from his strong arms, yet he moves closer to me, that I can feel his warm body all over me.

    "Let go of me Flynn, or I will scream." I said, I look at him with hatred and contempt in my eyes, but I can't hold my tears anymore, it continues to fall on my cheeks, he tried to wipe my tears away, but I slapped his hands, and by using my Spektra power, I was able to pushed him strongly. I am shocked that I heard his body hit on the wall loudly, then I darted away from him, without a single glance.

I get back to my friends casually, I erased all the evidence of tears, before I face them, faking a beautiful smile. I am glad that they are very engrossed talking about, the Festival Ball, they are talking about the Magical Cord and its power.

    "Though, I heard it from my own father for how many times, I still want to see it happens in front of my eyes, that cord is interesting, it is more than the lie detector test found in the mortal world." Nick said seriously, I am physically with them, but my mind is somewhere else. I saw Prince Flynn came back to their table, and put his arm on Princess Avery's shoulder, he is really shameless and heartless. It is not his fault anyway, I always surrender every time he wants to kiss me.

     After we finished our drinks, we leave immediately, I didn't dare to look back at them again, because I don't want to get hurt, for I know Avery is a leech, she is trying her very best, to get her whole body close to Prince Flynn. I make a silent prayer to my God in heaven, in the mortal realm, that I can get over this soon.

     My friends and I strolled around Kentro carelessly, we have seen a lot of our fellow students from the Academy. I am guessing that only the Professors were left on the campus.

     They actually surprised me, when we arrived at the Fairy Amusement Park. I never expected to be in a real park in fairyland, but it cost a fortune, I am glad I bring my pouch, but Prince Declan insisted on paying for the entrance fee. I couldn't take my eyes from all the rides in front of me, but it made my knees weak, when I realized the big difference in the human world.

    In fairyland all the rides are in the air, for instance the Ferris Wheel, it doesn't have a stand at all, you can only see that the baskets are circularly connected, with each other by a magic light, and it rotates continuously with minimal speed, enough for the fairies to see the amazing view of Erthesia. Actually, at first I was curious why they have this kind of ride in here, when they have wings to fly. But I realized it is a big challenge for a fairy like me, because I have to use my wings to sit down inside the Ferris Wheel.

     Each basket of the Ferris Wheel has the same size, and the dimension is enough for the five of us, we choose the empty basket, on the very top, then we fly in consecutive manner. I find it hard at first, because I need to control my power to minimal so that, my Spektra Wings will not come out, I am happy that I had been training, with my aunt for how many weeks now, it is easier for me to utilize my true power without showing the true color of my wings.

      The five of us get inside the Ferris Wheel. "Don't you know that this is the craziest thing I have ever seen in here." I said, I can't hide my exhilaration.

    "And why is that Malia?" Hale asked, he is smiling widely at me, I know they are so amused by my expression.

    "You don't need this in here, you have wings." I said.

     "Well, tell me, didn't you enjoy it?" Asked Nick.

      "Of course, I did." I answered him.

      "That is the answer Malia, actually it is fun, we also wanted to have fun, I think this idea came from your world, there are so many fairies before, who wanted to have an escapade in the mortal realm, but it has been banned, without an official mission, no one can set foot in the human world." Prince Nick explained.

"Really? I thought, fairies are prohibited to get outside." I said surprised.

"Fairies have the freedom before, to wander in the mortal world, as long as they don't associate, with human, but it was changed, after the revolution of the Dark King, King Maverick doesn't want the human world to be tinted with darkness, or worse sow terror in your world." Prince Declan said, looking at the harbor.

     "It explained everything, I am glad to know that human inventions fascinated the powerful fairies of Erthesia." I said, I miss my old world all of a sudden, why I miss my boring life out there, I know I am just making an excuse, in my former world, Prince Flynn, Princess Avery, and Princess Suzanne don't exist. I don't have tormentors, but in that world also I don't have loyal friends like Prince Hale, Prince Nicholas and Prince Declan, and of course my best friend Freda.

     If I wasn't born a fairy I didn't have a chance to meet Nick and Freda, because they only went there for me, they were born into this world, and they only belong in this society. They made my life happier and better, all I need to do is focus with my friends, not with my enemies.

     After an hour of riding and talking at the Ferris Wheel, we all agreed to try the roller coaster, it is also suspended in the air, without supports from the ground and moving speedily in a clockwise manner, it is more challenging than our previous ride. I can hear laughter from the boys and screams from the ladies who are currently riding the roller coaster at a hypersonic speed.

I dreaded in going with them and ride the roller coaster, but I wanted to stop listening to the endless plea of my heart. I wanted to forget again, I want to have fun, and forget Prince Flynn for now, I know I will never fail to remember his handsome face, ripped luscious body, and his wonderful smell, whenever and wherever I may be. He is always in my mind and heart forever.

It is so hard getting in the roller coaster seats, because of its unbelievable speed, that is why we need to use our power just to have a ride. It was amazing actually, it's like having an exercise, I saw Prince Declan hit his body on the side of the roller coaster car, and his body was thrown into the air on his first and second attempt. Only Prince Hale gets in without a sweat, Freda made so many attempts too, but her body keeps propelling back in different directions.

Prince Nick gets in after one failed strive, I am glad at last Freda is seated beside Prince Hale already, I am the only one left flying outside the roller coaster. They are now cheering for me, I can see their blurry faces, spinning unceasingly.

I don't want to get hurt, that is why I used my magic, I release my overflowing power slowly but surely, then I make the roller coaster's movement change into a moderate speed, then I fly inside and sit beside Prince Nick. They all laughed, then I stop using my power, the rotation of the ride gets back to its original speed.

"Wow! I am impressed." Nick said, he holds my hand and winked at me, I can feel him comforting me, he must know that I have been crying in the refreshment house, but didn't say anything.

     Freda and I screamed from the bottom of our hearts, the boys continued their laughter. I shout with all my heart, to let out all my hatred, frustrations, sadness and anger towards Prince Flynn and his fiancee, it really made me feel better and my energy started to come back, I won't allow them to impede my own happiness.
