My Mother’s Accusations

Violet's POV

Alfonso was right the driver is waiting for me as I go out of the mansion's main entrance. I followed him in, going to the car. He is not the chauffeur who picked us up this morning. He seems younger than the others, and maybe he is older than I by two years. Furthermore, he motioned me to get inside saying nothing and I stride quickly and climbed in at the front seat of the sedan hastily. We are now far away from the estate, but I can still look at the big house, and as we descended to the city the driver talks for the first time.

"I think it is now safe to talk, I wish to speak to you while we were in the manor, but I don't want Alfonso to see us talking. He is strict, and I don't know why he needs to act in that manner. He could lighten up a little and try to connect with the staff, but he is always like that. He hates the maids every time he finds them speaking with another maid." He said.
