Too Evil, Too Ruthless

A girl and a dog were walking in the dark forest in full of vigilance. These two people weren't anyone but Rebecca and Ayaan. This time she chose a little difficult place for her training, a Dark Forest.

It was a place feared by many while very few dared to enter this place. There was a saying in the surrounding area about the Dark Forest 'If you want to enter the Dark Forest, first prepare yourself to remain there forever'.

However, this time Rebecca came here because she felt weak, after encountering her last opponent. She wanted to become powerful enough to fight anyone or anything. Previously, she thought, no one will be able to defeat her in this barren land but after encountering the blackhead, her mindset as well changed.

Nevertheless, when she fought with the blackhead, she realised how weak she was. She couldn't even shatter the single barrier made by her opponent. How will she compete in the future with her enemies who are so much stronger than that head? Many thoughts were running in her head like wild streams of water.

Suddenly, she stopped, turning around to look at a tree, a mocking smile appeared on her face before saying, "Are you going to come out on your own or you want me to invite you?"

After she spoke, no one came out from behind the tree. A confused expression appeared on her face. She walked towards the tree. The night was dark; occasionally, the roars of beasts could be heard. She arrived in front of the tree with slow steps while still watching her surroundings for some hidden dangers. Nonetheless, she reached the tree and shouted: "Come out!"

After a shout, she looked behind the tree but found no one. A confused expression appeared on her face before returning to calmness. 'Is this crazy girl lost her mind even more? Why the fuck she was shouting at the tree?' Ayaan who was following her from behind thought.

Consequently, not far away from them were hiding two men. Their bodies were soaked in water which wasn't water but their sweat. They were shivering from head to toe, but the shivering wasn't from the cold. Instead, it was from fear. It was one of the most dreadful things of the Dark-Forest. When people enter the forest, they will feel an invisible fear rising from their hearts. These two men were also suffering from the same thing.

Rebecca didn't feel any fear because her magic power was enough to suppress it very quickly. As for Ayaan, his soul was tempered by the blood of the greatest demon. After suffering so much pain, his will power was like Everest. Almost nothing can make him feel fear in this forest. And in the future, when his magic power increase, his will power also increases.

"I think we-we shouldn't have come to this creepy place." The first man spoke with his shivering voice.

"The senses of that girl are too scary; she sensed our presence. Thank god, we immediately ran away at the last moment, or I can't imagine what would have happened to us." The other man who was sitting next to the first man spoke with a fearful expression.

These two were the same who were sent by Suzi. After arriving at the Dark-Forest, they entered behind Rebecca and Ayaan without hesitating. Still, when they came, they realised how dreadful this forest was, for the people with low magic power.

"That girl is terrifying; if we stay here, we won't be able to hurt the nails of her hand. Didn't you see? The forest doesn't have any effect on her." The first man replied, and his companion nodded in agreement.

After that, they didn't dare to stay any longer and walked towards the exit of the forest.

"Heh? Do you think it is that easy to stalk me and walk away whenever you want?" They had just walked a few steps when a voice came from behind them. Both the men froze at the same without moving a single step. They slowly turned around and saw a lady standing not far away from them.

"Run!!" when both the men saw who was standing behind them, without wasting any time, they started to sprint towards the exit.

"Heh?" Rebecca sneered at their futile effort when she saw them running away.

Two balls of water formed in her hands and she threw one towards each man.

'Smash!'

'Smash!'

Both attacks landed perfectly on the back of targets. They fell on the ground with their mouth eating dirt.

'Thud!'

The blood started to drip out from their mouths. They looked towards Rebecca in dread. They can't even take a single hit from her and were dreaming about killing her. She walked towards them at a slow pace, both the men looked at each other in fear. 'Fuck! Who knew this innocent looking girl would be this scary, Damn it?' They thought inside their heads and cursed.

She arrived in front of the man, he tried to speak, but before any word could escape from his mouth his neck was grabbed by a beautiful hand, but at this time, he didn't think her hand was impressive. On the contrary, he felt like in the clutches of a devil queen.

When his companion saw the condition of his partner, a chill ran down in his whole body. Without thinking, he started to run, but before he could run more than ten-steps, a fireball landed on his butt.

'Boom!'

'Arghh!'

A shriek full of agony resounded in the whole Dark-Forest. Rebecca saw this with a pleasant expression before saying, "Good job, Whity!"

'Fuck with this Whity name!!' He cursed but couldn't speak it out loud. Birdy heard his curse and laughed out loudly.

Ayaan became even more irritated. He shot one more fireball towards the man crying on the ground in agony. He didn't aim anywhere else but at the same place he did, previously. 'Evil me, hehe' he thought.

'Thud~'

'Thud~'

The man smashed his back on the ground again and again. His screams can be heard from miles away in this silent night. The man who was grabbed by Rebecca felt a million times fortunate when he saw the condition of his companion. He didn't try to run away or might also lose his backside to this cute but scary dog.

These two men were at the beginning level of novice mage, but Ayaan was already about to reach the second-realm. So, these two weren't his match, much less Rebecca whose magic was unfathomable. Previously, Birdy tried to see her magic realm, but there was something which was blocking Birdy's senses from probing her.

When Rebecca saw this, a chuckle left from her mouth, turning towards the man who had lost all his resistance and asked only one question, "Who?"

She wasn't stupid enough to assume; these people were like her, who came here for training or hunting beasts. First, this forest wasn't suitable for hunting due to its creepy environment. Second, These two people were too weak to survive in this forest for an extended period if they were able to control their fear, fearsome animals won't show any mercy to them.

The man hesitated, but when he saw the glaring eyes of the devil queen, he immediately spat out every detail. After getting all the information, her smile became even more dazzling and murmured, "Didn't know, a snake was hiding behind my back?"

She took her hand back, releasing the man from her grip. A forced smile appeared on the ugly face of the man, before he said, "Miss, we have already told you everything, please…."

He wasn't able to finish when she waved her hand at the man who instantly lost his consciousness. Without delay, she walked towards another man who had just broken himself free from fire.

"No! No!..." when he saw the fate of his companion, his face turned white from panic and fear. He tried to beg for mercy but like a

his partner, he also lost consciousness from the wave of her hand.

Ayaan, who was watching all from the side, had his eye widened.

"What did she do?" he asked Birdy.

"Hehe, this girl is not bad for walking the path of the demoness, why don't you consider taking her as one of your spouses?" Birdy said sarcastically.

"What the fuck! Birdy!" he said with an annoyed manner and continued, "Don't you know, I already have Noor? I can't even think about anyone else."

She rolled her eyes at his childish reply and said with a chuckle, "Alright, calm down, I was just kidding. She destroyed their rune, and they have to restart practising magic from basic."

"Oh, but what is evil in this? I think she was rather merciful." He asked in confusion.

"Are you stupid or you don't have a thing called brain?" she said irritatingly before he could ask anything, she continued, "tell me if you don't have the magic power, how long will you be able to survive in this forest?"

As Ayaan heard her reply, his eyes widened in shock and asked, "Are you sayi…. "

Birdy interrupted in between and said, "Correct, she left them alive, but they aren't alive for too long. They don't even have the strength to walk a hundred metres from here, how will they walk out safely from this dark forest? hehe."

Now, he understood what she meant when said Rebecca is perfect for walking the path of the demoness. 'Too evil, too ruthless' This was the only sentence which can define her decisiveness.

"But you can still consider taking her as you…" she wasn't able to finish her sentence when Ayaan shouted at her, "Shut up, Birdy!"

A chuckle resounded from Birdy, but she didn't dwell on the same topic. After solving the problem of those two peasants, the duo resumed their journey.
