Spirit Fire

Ayaan turned to look toward her in surprise when he heard her voice.

At this moment, the lava was dripping from her beautiful face like water. However, there wasn't any uncomfortable expression on her face. On the contrary, it was looking as if she was standing in the hot spring. A beautiful smile hung at the corner of her lips which made her even more beautiful.

As Ayaan glanced at her mesmerising face, he wondered if her clothes were still on her body, hehe.

As a matter of fact, they weren't on her body. When Rebecca noticed his perverted gaze, her face became red.

Afterwards, she glared at him and said, "What are you staring at? You pervert!"

"Cough~ Cough~"

Hurriedly, Ayaan coughed a few times before replying, "What pervert? I am staring at my wife. Is it a crime to appreciate the beauty of my wife?"

When Rebecca heard his shameless words, her face turned beet red from embarrassment and replied frantically, "Who's your wife?"

Nonetheless, Ayaan only gave her the dirty smile without replying and Rebecca felt like digging a hole before hiding in, from this shameless bastard.

Finally, Ayaan's expression turned serious before asking, "What did you find?"

Noticing the change in his expression, Rebecca calmed down herself and shared the detail about her finding, "I was practising my fire spells inside the lava because I found it a lot easier to cast them inside the pool. However, later I noticed that some places in the pool had more fire elements. Therefore, I started to search for the place with the most abundant fire-element.

Later, I discovered a certain place where I could feel a vast amount of fire-energy. At that place, I saw a fireball was burning continuously; I became mesmerised by its beauty. However, when I tried to reach closer to the fire, an invisible force stopped me."

After explaining the situation to the Ayaan, Rebecca turned glanced at him and waited for him to share his thoughts on this matter.

Eventually, when Ayaan heard her explanation, he started to search for information about the fire element. Although there wasn't much information he received from the system as a reward, it was enough to make him the rival of an ordinary king mage in the aspect of knowledge.

However, his basics still were not up to standard, a child of eight to nine years of age in this world could rival him in that aspect. It was like at that time when Rebecca told him about the heaven rank magic formula, but he didn't even know that the heaven rank formula doesn't even need to from the rune.

Nevertheless, after searching for a few seconds, Ayaan found some information about the different types of fires.

Finally, he gazed at Rebecca before saying, "Alright, let's go."

Rebecca blinked at him a few times in confusion, and just when she was about to speak something, Ayaan jumped inside the lava-pool.

"Splash!"

Anyways, he was way more powerful than Rebecca and his body was also stronger than her. Although she had a body of a mythical beast, Ayaan had received quite a lot of free attribute points from the system, which increased the toughness of his body.

Rebecca looked at Ayaan with her mouth wide open and tried to say something a few times but couldn't say anything. Finally, she took a deep breath and calmed herself down before turning towards Ayaan whose whole body was drowned in lava. However, there wasn't any burnt on his body due to this, he looks completely fine.

"Lead the way," Ayaan gave her a smile when he saw her dumbfounded expression.

Thereupon, Rebecca nodded towards him and dived inside the lava, vanishing from the surface. As she went inside the pool, Ayaan closely followed her from behind.

Although for an ordinary mage, it was impossible to open his eyes inside the lava. However, It wasn't a big deal for Ayaan. Moreover, he himself started to practice a few fire type spells. Albeit, not powerful enough to destroy the mountains and dry the seas. It was enough for him to stay safe inside the lava.

After following Rebecca for more than two minutes, Ayaan arrived in front of a narrow tunnel. Moreover, Ayaan was able to feel the abundant fire element at this place. Thereupon, Rebecca pointed towards the channel and swam inside it.

Nevertheless, Ayaan as well followed her from behind and entered the tunnel. Although the tunnel was narrow, it was enough to fit a single person. Therefore, without any problem both of them proceeded forward.

Slowly, the area of the tunnel started to widen and in no time it became the size of the ordinary room. Moreover, he realised that the lava in this place wasn't red; instead, it was turning green as he went inside the tunnel. Finally, the end of the tunnel appeared and in front of him was a beautiful flame, burning continuously with a green colour.

'So this fire was the reason for the abundant fire element inside the lava and reason behind it turning green.'

'Hmm, it could also be the reason behind the appearance of that lotus in this pool.'

Thereafter, Rebecca didn't move forward and turned to look at Ayaan and shook her head, indicating that she couldn't go beyond this place.

Nodding in understanding, Ayaan turned towards the flame and started to approach it. However, the moment he proceeded beyond the place from where Rebecca couldn't move, he felt an invisible pressure falling on him.

Nevertheless, he didn't stop and approached the green-flame slowly.

"Crackle~ Crackle~"

As he neared the flame, it started to burn more intensely and more pressure fell over Ayaan.

Alas, it still wasn't enough to stop Ayaan from moving.

Finally, he arrived in front of the flame and looked at it with a smile.

Name: Green Blaze

Rank: Spirit

Value: 800

Not much information but Ayaan knew that this fire wasn't as simple as it appeared. Although spirit-grade was the lowest-grade, where flames would start to form their consciousness, it was a rare treasure for a fire mage. After placing the spirit seal on the flame, fire-mage could benefit tremendously.

Moreover, their comprehension of the fire element would increase by leaps and bounds.

'It seems the system decides the value of treasure by its rarity.' Ayaan thought. The fire was only spirit grade but its value was already rivalling the treasure of the god rank he robbed from those two beasts in the jungle.

'This flame is very beneficial for Rebecca… hmm need to seal it with magic energy or Rebecca won't be able to come near it.' After thinking for some time, Ayaan placed his hand on the flame.

"Crackle~ Crackle~"

Immediately, the fire started to burn frantically but to no avail. Ayaan covered it with his magic energy and all the pressure disappeared from the surrounding.

Thereafter, they didn't dwell there anymore and came out of the lava-pool.

Rebecca looked towards the flame in Ayaan's hand and asked curiously, "What type of fire is it?"

A smile appeared on Ayaan's face before he replied, "This is the spirit fire, which has already developed its consciousness."

Rebecca wasn't able to understand his meaning for some time but when she understood what he meant, her eyes went wide and asked in a shocked voice, "Is it the legendary spirit fire!?"

"Uhh… Not legendary enough to be called legendary," Ayaan replied with a hollow laugh when he heard her calling it the legendary fire.

"What do you mean by not legendary enough?" Rebecca asked in confusion.

"Spirit grade is just the starting point for the flames which have awakened their consciousness. Later, will come earth-grade, sky-grade….so on and so forth." Ayaan explained patiently.

Rebecca looked at Ayaan with a dumbfounded expression, it was the first time she had heard about fire stronger than spirit grade. In the Aemmugar or more specifically in the eastern continent, only those powerful kingdoms or some powerful family and sects could have the luxury to acquire spirit grade fire. However, for Ayaan, it was just the low-grade flame.

Rebecca glanced at him and didn't know what to say. After taking a deep breath, she let out a long sigh and didn't say anything.

Thereafter, Ayaan looked at Rebecca and passed the flame to her which was in his hand after saying, "Place your spirit seal on the flame and you will benefit from the flame greatly."

"How can I take the flame? It was you who brought it from the lava," Rebecca said after some hesitation.

Eventually, Ayaan glanced at Rebecca and patted on her head gently before replying, "Silly girl, isn't my everything already yours?"

As Ayaan spoke, he kissed on her temple gently before passing the flame in her soft hands.

However, Rebecca stayed frozen at the same place and a single sentence echoed continuously inside her head, 'Isn't my everything already yours?'

He was the second man who said something like this to her, first was her father.

Rebecca gazed towards Ayaan with slightly wet eyes and saw a handsome face which was smiling gently towards her. Without any prior warning, she dashed into his arms and hugged him tightly.
