Blake and Shallot made it to the front lobby with him carrying his bags with his notebook inside that he had got back from Blake in one hand along with all his purchased goods.
Shallot: 'I need to figure out how to use my abilities better. I need to make a pocket dimension for carrying things.'
Shallot and Blake had seen that the man that reminded them of Ren was no longer there but a woman was sitting there. She had long blonde hair and a simple outfit with a name tag that read Sheena.
Shallot and Blake walked up to the counter and placed the key onto the desk and the woman behind it had a surprised look on her face. Before Shallot and Blake could leave the through the front door the receptionist called for them.
Sheena: "Um, excuse me. Could you wait for a second."
The woman went underneath the desk for a little bit before pulling out a box with a similar color scheme as the key that was for the room. She stuck the key inside turning it and unlocking the box. She then stretched out her hands with the box for them to take it.
Blake: "What's this for?"
Blake started asking not sure why they were being given this while trying to keep her balance by pulling on Shallot.
Shallot walked forwards and grabbing the box with his free hand and could see the drawings of Grimm that the guy from yesterday was drawing with a weapon schematic for a massive scythe that transformed into a bow and broke further down into two scimitars leaving the staff from the scythe as another weapon. The design was brilliant if he had to judge it and the storage mode was that of a carry-on suitcase.
Shallot: "This must be from the guy from last night that was sitting at the desk."
The receptionist tilted her head in confusion.
Sheena: "Guy from last night? I went on break and I'm the only receptionist here."
Shallot went and described the guy that gave them the key to the room and how he was drawing these things just last night.
Sheena: "The person you described is the owner of this place but he has been gone for 3 months now and he drew those things years ago back when he was younger. He should be coming back in another month since he should be finished spending time visiting his family grave from a Grimm attack."
Shallot and Blake had an astonished look on their face. The guy they had seen didn't seem to be a day over 30. There were only a couple strands of gray hairs and he seemed to be perfectly fine.
Sheena: "Also the room you went into hadn't been used in 20 years. The key should have only been with the couple that went in there back then. I'm not sure how you got the key for that room."
Blake: "Why didn't you just change the lock and have another key after checking whether they were inside."
Sheena just nodded her head.
Sheena: "The owner did check when that happened but no one was inside along with the key missing. The owner had just smiled and said that it was fine and that we should just leave the room as it is and just use the other rooms."
Shallot: "You seem to know a lot. Just how old are you?"
Blake elbowed him in the stomach but he didn't really feel it but played along since he knows one of the things you shouldn't ask is ask a female her age.
Sheena: "I've been working here since I was a teenager."
Shallot nodded his head before asking one more question before leaving.
Shallot: "What is the name of the owner of this place?"
Sheena pointed to a while towards a pointing with a man with similar features to the man they say last night who seemed far older with a couple of strands of gray hair. He looked like an old a grizzled Ren after many years of fighting. Below the picture was a nameplate the read Mr. Oum.
The gears in Shallot's head were turning and then things started clicking.
Shallot: 'Well, I'll be. He's done become a Stan Lee.'
Shallot just nodded his head wondering if he could come back and meet him and see if he guess was right.
Shallot and Blake left the hotel after Shallot put the designs and the other drawings inside one of the many bags that he was carrying.
Shallot and Blake were about to head back to the school when Shallot had seen Sun walking around.
Shallot: "Oh look, a friend."
Shallot started walking towards Sun with Blake clinging onto him. After they had gotten close to him Shallot called out in a Serbian accent.
Shallot: "Cousin, let's go bowling."
Blake looked at Shallot and so did Sun after noticing him with a confused look.
Shallot turned to Blake.
Shallot: "Do you all not have bowling on this planet?"
Blake: "What's Bowling?"
Shallot: "It's a sport."
Sun walked over being warry still feeling his bruises from yesterday but he knows full well that he can't outrun him.
Sun: "What's bowling."
Shallot: 'Yeah, I'm building a sports center when I get the chance and going to work on fixing this dangerous place.'
Shallot: "It's just a sport from where I come from. It's something to do so you can relax and hang out with family and friends."
Sun: "Well, sure it sounds pretty fun."
Blake: "We don't have a place to play that here in Vale."
Sun nodded his head while relaxing more and having a smile on his face as the conversation was happening. After awhile Shallot asked Blake where the docks were.
Shallot: "We should probably head to the docks and find out what the White Fang are up to recently."
Sun: "You know that group of freaks!"
Sun was surprised while looking a little warry at them.
Blake: "We were once members of the White Fang."
Shallot: "You win some, you lose some. They weren't always a group of freaks. Only recently that happened actually."
Blake elbowed him feeling that she needs to get stronger so it would actually hurt.
Sun: "Not a fan? If you were a member why did you all leave."
Shallot: "They don't have the intelligence to make it far in my opinion and besides, I wasn't fond of how some of the members acted."
Shallot had said that with a flash of malice going through his eyes but no one saw it.
Blake started telling why she had joined the White Fang to Sun mainly telling him that she wanted to have the Faunus be treated differently.
Blake: "Shallot joined because he wanted to be close to me always telling my father that he would make sure that no strays got close to me. I left after knowing that Shallot wasn't wrong after he had told me that appearances could be deceiving and that even though I was invested it was better to know when to cut connections lose.
So I came to be a huntress since Shallot always talked about them being the best at surviving. We're a pair of criminal hiding in plain sight."
Sun was listening to everything as they continued to walk through the city.
