Chapter 77 - Breach (1)

Jaune, Pyrrha Nikos, and Lie Ren come falling from the sky while an airship is seen flying back towards Beacon academy to grab more students.

Pyrrha: "Let's move!"

As Jaune sighs, the others charge in.

Jaune: "All that training we did and the first thing I have to deal with seems far more than a simple Ursa."

Nora rushes towards the nearest pack of Beowolf Grimm in the horde of Grimm spinning around like a top sending Grimm flying in the air.

Nora: "Spin spin spin spin spin spin."

Nora stopped spinning after all the Grimm in her hammers reach was in the air.

Nora: "Now I'm dizzy. This is so fun!"

Nora went back into the horde of Grimm. Ren jumps in slashing two Beowolves while using his semblance to get stealth attacks on. He finishes them to attack the Grimm that were still alive that was sent in the air by Nora.

Jaune seeing everything going on tries getting into it like the rest of his team.

Jaune: "Okay, who's first?"

Jaune turns around to notice a giant Ursa standing behind him. Pyrrha is fighting several Grimm nearby. Impaling a Beowolf, and then a Creep before seeing the Ursa advance on Jaune. Behind him, Weiss and Blake are fighting more Grimm.

Shallot is darting back in fourth in the sky launching attacks at the Giganti Grimm putting cracks into the bone armor it has over its body only for it to reach down with its head cupping some Grimm into its mouth making the cracks disappearing and black smoke coming from its body.

Shallot: "This is why I hate fighting these things. If there are other Grimm around they are a pain to deal with. If we were away from the city I could just blow it up. Being in a city really sucks."

The Ursa walked up towards Jaune and stood on its hind legs and roared in his face.

Jaune: "Oh-oh-okay, you're first, huh? Okay, no, that's fine. Totally fine, done this before, done this before..."

With a mighty scream, Jaune slashes the Ursa several times before it falls. Pyrrha smiles, as she notices his improvement. A few feet from the fallen Ursa, Sun Wukong and Neptune Vasilias arrive, flashing their badges.

Shallot: 'Tiddle Dee and twiddle dum has shown up.'

Sun: "Nobody move! Junior detectives!"

Neptune: "We have badges so you know it's official!"

A fleet coming from the Atlesian Military, consisting of dropships deploying Atlesian Knight-200 units and the flagship of James Ironwood. Sun and Neptune react in awe of the fleet as Sun drops his badge to the floor. As Team RWBY looks up in the sky, an Ursa takes the opportunity to attack Ruby from behind. However, it is gunned down by a dropship's machine gun.

As the robotic Knights deploy, they start gunning down the Grimm. Two of the Knights are stampeded on by a Boarbatusk, but a separate group of three Knights fire on an Ursa, and another Ursa has fallen from a Knight's punch.

As an Ursa receives the business end of Talaria, at least half a dozen assorted Grimm stand in front of Emerald. Who draws Thief's Respite from their holsters, revealing them to be dual pistols. The Grimm pack learns this the hard way as she opens fire and all but a single Ursa fall to a barrage of Dust shots while charging at Emerald.

Emerald quickly transforms her pistols into kopis blades, flipping and slashing at the rampaging Ursa to kill it. As more Knights subdue Grimm, out of the opening comes Zwei, followed by Dr. Bartholomew Oobleck in a damaged Atlesian Paladin-290. The dog jumping off to headbutt a Beowolf while Merlin was standing on top of its mechanized head.

An airship arrives, dropping off Team CFVY and Professor Peter Port. As Yatsuhashi Daichi is surrounded by a pack of Grimm, he unlimbers Fulcrum before smashing it on the ground, unleashing a shockwave that sends them flying. Velvet Scarlatina and Fox Alistair respectively kick and punch the Grimm with Fox impaling a Creep.

Nearby a large spiked Ursa roars before charging them. Fox intercepts it with a kick then unleashes a combo of slashes and punches with Sharp Retribution. Knocking the Grimm skyward with an uppercut, as it descends he delivers a blow to the head with both hands that sends it flying. After landing it swells up and explodes impaling the nearby Grimm with its spikes. Coco walks forward swatting a few away with her weapon. Yatsuhashi shields Velvet before the two start advancing.

Coco gives Fox a light pat on the butt while walking towards a large Beowolf.

Coco: "Nice hustle, Fox. Good job."

Fox jumps back as Coco approaches a large Beowolf.

Coco: "You are causing our city problems."

A loud prehistoric howl was heard and a large amount of black mist start spreading around the area.

Shallot: "Can Someone Deal With The Grimm So This Bastard Can Stop Regenerating!!!!"

Shallot flew towards the bottom of the Giganti Grimm and started punching it repeatedly making it slowly rise in the air with a smile on his face. Pulled both of his hands back behind him cupping them. A large amount of ki was gathering in his hands.

Shallot: "Fuck collateral damage. Kaaaaa-meeeee-haaaaaaa-meeeeeee."

Shallot thrust his hands forward.

Shallot: "Haaaaaaaaa."

The Kamehameha was launched forward at the Giganti carrying it high into the sky before it a large explosion was blown into the middle of the Giganti. One upper part of the Giganti was launched further from the edge of the city.

The bottom half came falling back down crashing onto another pile of Grimm crushing them underneath. Everyone else below saw a shadow overcasting above them and starting running from underneath it so they wouldn't be crushed.

Shallot was breathing slightly heavier not thinking that it would be so sturdy. Shallot looked down seeing that a large amount of Grimm was crushed by the bottom half of the Giganti.

Coco: "Watch it. You got dirt on my outfit."

Shallot floated back down to the ground seeing that there were still a large amount of Grimm still around. He was tired from that blast not thinking that the Giganti would be that troublesome.

Shallot: 'It seems that the Grimm are evolving far faster than they naturally should. This could either be Salem since Summer said that she can control Grimm or Dr. Merlot has made further progress in his research. If I can track him down his technology could prove to be pretty useful.'

Shallot pulled out his scroll and started typing on it before putting it away.

Shallot: 'About 30% of my ki left should be more than enough. Making sure not wiping out the city in the crossfire is the more exhausting thing.'

Shallot dropped his hands to the side gathering ki in both of his hands and then placed them above his head before launching it into the sky. The ki blast flew into the air then exploded splitting into a large number of ki blasts before raining down onto the field wiping out another large number of Grimm.

Shallot looked towards everyone else looking at what he just did before sitting down on the ground sweating more drenching his clothes.

Shallot: "Controlled destruction is so much harder. I could have down this with only half my ki if I could just use scorched earth policy. You all can deal with the rest it shouldn't be that many now."
