Chapter 139 - Surprise

"That concludes the matches for today. Please leave the Coliseum IN A CALM AND ORDERLY FASHION!" Professor Oobleck says over the mic which made everyone start to rise from their seats.

"I still don't see how he can be so afraid of water. His name is Neptune which is the god of the sea. This is really ironic." Shallot said while looking at them dancing and celebrating.

Neo looked up at Shallot and turned away from the match. Shallot started to stand up while carrying Neo princess carry style. Shallot looked at Mercury and Emerald.

"I'll be taking your teammate with me. I'll make sure that she is back before your next match." Shallot said while smiling at them.

"Who said you can take our teammate?" Mercury said while looking at Shallot.

"What are you going to do about it? Learn your place before you have an accident and can't walk to your next match." Shallot said while looking at Mercury's legs.

Mercury gritted his teeth and was about to attack him when a hand was placed on his shoulder.

"We need to go and prepare for our matches for tomorrow." Cinder who was disguised as a student said.

Cinder, Mercury, and Emerald got up and walked away with Mercury being dragged by Cinder.

"Come on, let's go congratulate 'em." Yang said while standing up next to Shallot.

They start to head out just as a ribbon-adorned craft passes over the Colosseum, causing Weiss to stop in her tracks and Ruby to bounce into her.

"Uh, what are you viewing?" Ruby asked looking up toward the sky.

"She's here!" Weiss said while looking at the aircraft that was slowly passing overhead.

Weiss started running out of the stadium with Ruby chasing after her.

Shallot was walking with Neo in his arms with some people looking at him while Blake was walking next to him hugging his arm. Some of the men in the stadium were looking at him giving him a look of respect while some were gritting their teeth. They were jealous since they were single.

Yang was walking on the other side of Shallot while looking at Ruby and Weiss running off to the location where the ship was landing.

"Aren't you going to run after Ruby to make sure she doesn't cause any problems?" Shallot said hoping that Ruby doesn't cause any problems. He knows that she can be an airhead sometimes.

"Where do you think Ozpin went? He wasn't there with Professor Port for this match." Yang asked seeing that it was Oobleck announcing the matches for the latter half.

"He probably has a meeting." Shallot said.

"Neo nodded her head enjoying being carried. She showed her phone showing some camera feeds that were showing Ozpin walking with Glenda.

Shallot could feel someone approaching from behind him but he was familiar with the person and didn't turn. He just had a smile on his face until Yang felt a tap on her shoulder.

Yang turned around to see Taiyang and Summer standing there. Yang's eyes went wide looking at the person in front of her.

"Summer?" Yang's mouth was hanging open not expecting to see him here. Yang went and hugged her with Summer returning the hug with a smile on her face.

Yang looked up at Summer when remembering that Ruby had just run off with Weiss.

"Does Ruby know that you are here?" Yang asked.

"She knows already. We dropped her off this morning and I told her to stay quiet so that I can surprise you." Summer said while continuing the hug.

Taiyang hadn't said anything and Yang turned to look at her dad only to see him glaring at Shallot. Shallot just looked at him.

"I've done nothing wrong and I regret nothing. Also, hello father." Shallot said while nodding toward him.

"I am not your father!" Taiyang shouted at Shallot.

"I will take care of both Ruby and Yang so there is nothing for you to worry about.

Taiyang sent a punch at Shallot's chest with Shallot standing there taking it. Shallot didn't move at all with Taiyang sending a bunch of punches into his chest but the only one to become hurt was Taiyang's hands from punching him.

After 5 minutes of throwing his hardest punches, he was getting tired and stopped seeing that Shallot was still standing there who had started talking with Summer.

"So, I've seen that you have made it back but why didn't you just come and visit them sooner." Shallot asked Summer.

"I needed to make it dramatic. I was sure that they would find out that you know me and would ask about me so I wanted to make it the best intro that I had. I am going to show myself again since Qrow is here." Summer said.

"Oh, Ruby and Yang's uncle." I haven't seen him since I was a kid when I used to watch them and tell you about them after learning to fly." Shallot said. Yang was just watching and could see her father sending out punches into Shallot's chest while he was having a conversation with Summer.

They caught up over the things that happened and stopped when they saw that Taiyang had stopped and had his hands on his knees breathing heavily out of breath.

"If you wouldn't mind doing the same to my back it would help with some of the tight muscles. You should work on becoming a masseuse." Shallot said showing his back to Taiyang.

Taiyang sent one more punch but was already tired before slumping his shoulders thinking that his little girls were going to forget about him.

"Stop messing with him Shallot. I can already tell that you are far stronger than you were when you were a kid. Come hug me." Summer said.

Shallot walked up to Summer who was smaller than him and hugged her while bending slightly. Summer was the closest thing he had to a mother in this world and cherished her.

"Nice seeing you again mom." Shallot said with Taiyang griping on the side mumbling that he would never accept him as his son.

They all started walking toward the direction that Ruby and Weiss went when they heard the sound of weapons clashing outside. They started to walk outside to see two people fighting.
