Chapter 150 - Pecking Order

Shallot was standing with his foot on Salem's face pushing her into the ground. He lifted his foot and kicked her sending her into the air before jumping up smashing his fist through her chest.

Salem screamed having felt the hand puncturing her chest straight through her bones.

"You see, I usually like to deal with as few problems as I can. Erasing any possible problems and using anyone useful and showing love to those that are close to me. I'm a very simple person. As long as you follow what I say then you wouldn't have anything to worry about." Shallot said before grabbing her face and yanking his hand out of her chest.

Shallot threw her into the ground outside of the castle.

*BOOOOM*

Shallot landed in front of Salem who had a black sludge oozing out of her body healing her. She started to stand up while screaming out with Grimms coming from the distance.

Shallot lifted his hand where ki was gathering before it shot into the air and broke into many different strands. The many blasts shot in different directions launching down onto the approaching Grimm.

Shallot started walking over to Salem as she was rethinking her life decisions.

"Remember. All this is only happening because of you. Things could have been different." Shallot said stopping in front of her.

She swung her fist at him sending some black sludge at him that turned into black Grimm arms stretching toward Shallot.

Shallot blasted the hand out of the way before firing a ki beam into her knee making her fall to the ground again.

Shallot reached into his pocket and pulled a remote with a single button.

"Don't worry, I can make sure that with controlled shocks your attitude will be treated." Shallot said while holding the button down sending electric shocks through her body.

Ruby and Blake were sitting on the bed playing a game of chess when both of them got a chill down their spine. They both looked around but didn't notice anything.

"Huh, weird. I thought something strange was happening but I guess it was just me." Blake said.

"I also felt a chill run down my spine but I don't know why?"Ruby said while tilting her head.

Qrow was back in Ozpins office and had just finished telling Ozpin everything that he had seen. He told what Shallot said he was going and if it was alright to leave it up to a kid.

"I can say this Qrow. The original reason that I wanted him in the school was that I wasn't sure if he was already working with Salem. I invited him to keep an eye on him but it seemed that it wouldn't matter since he doesn't see Salem as a threat." Ozpin said while drinking from his coffee cup.

"Isn't he too dangerous to keep around the kids especially my nieces!" Qrow said thinking about how Shallot is staying in the same room and what Yang said.

"To be honest with you Qrow... Shallot is someone that will continue to grow stronger over time. Once his semblance was unlocked he only grew stronger but even before then, he was already stronger than the teachers. Dealing with Salem and the Grimm isn't really that much of a problem." Ozpin said.

"But you said that she is the main problem and from what I have seen she is a problem!" Qrow said slightly louder remember the swarm of Grimm that he remembered that were walking toward the city a week ago.

"I have already called for the graduated classes and any huntsmen that were in the area. They have dressed in civilian clothes but kept their weapons hidden until the time is right.

I haven't been wasting my time knowing that Salem could be making her move. I now know why Salem hasn't moved and hasn't been more aggressive. She isn't completely unstoppable. The silver-eyed clan is what is needed which is why Salem was hunting them down.

Ruby has the same eyes as her mother and I was planning on having you find Maria Calavera. She was the only silver-eyed that was proficient in fighting Grimm, but since Summer is back she can teach Ruby instead. You may still need to find Calavera so that her experience could be given to Ruby and Summer." Ozpin started explaining.

"So what is the main problem right now?" Qrow asked.

"The same thing that I have been worrying about since Shallot first got here. Is he a threat and if he is, is there anything we could do to stop him. There is no one physically stronger than him and from the reports I have gotten he doesn't care if he has to kill a large number of people." Ozpin said.

Yang was sitting in front of the bed on the floor exercising. She was doing sit-ups when she heard the door open. She turned to see that Shallot walked through the doorway rubbing his wrist.

"Seems like it's going to take longer and more discipline to make her fall in line." Shallot said while walking through the door.

Blake raised her eyebrow and patted the bed next to her. Shallot sat down with Blake laying her head on Shallot's lap while curling up.

"So what did that Salem person do?" Ruby asked.

"She's the one that's sending the Grimm, so I decided that it is my duty as an upstanding citizen to rehabilitate her by making her work under me as a maid and take care of looking after you all. She just needs more training right now." Shallot said.

"Hahaha!!!!" Blake burst out laughing hearing that.

"You being an upstanding citizen is like Ruby being a serious person," Blake said while laughing in Shallot's lap.

"I wouldn't kill innocents as Salem has so I am an upstanding citizen." Shallot said since his bottom line stood with innocent people. If they were scum then who cares if they were ki blasted out of existence.

Shallot pulled out his scroll and texted Neo to see if she had told Roman that he could escape at any time since they were throwing the plan.

"Where is Weiss? She should be back by now. Did you see her while you were on your way back in Shallot?" Yang asked seeing that it was getting pretty late.

"No, I haven't seen her. She should have come back by now or she is probably talking to Pyrrha." Shallot said.

"Ruby, you have to go and get Weiss since you are the team leader," Yang said while continuing to do sit-ups.

Ruby who had just lad on Shallot's shoulder looked like she was being robbed.

"Uhhhhhhhhh!!! Do I have to? Weiss will probably come back to the room herself since it's almost lights out and she has to be ready in the morning since her and Shallot's match is tomorrow" Ruby said while complaining not wanting to get up.

"Fiiiiiine, I'll get Weiss," Ruby said while rolling off the bed onto the floor.

"Ow," Ruby said even though she wasn't hurt at all.

She slowly got up while walking to the door to go and see if Weiss was in Pyrrha's room.
