Chapter 201 - A Strange Place

Shallot was thinking about something that he hadn't thought of before.

'Is this a shared universe of Rooster Teeth? If I go back to the Dragon Ball Universe, would it be the same one he came from?' Shallot thought to himself.

He had to think of a way that made sure that if he did leave with his girls, how to come back. He needs to know that if he leaves that he would come back to this world and not another timeline version of it.

They were led inside by another person in a similar type of armor as Tucker. After walking in they heard a higher pitch voice but knew it was coming from another male.

The insides were pretty large with a few other groups inside. All of them walked in to see some in dark blue armor standing inside at the front counter.

"High, I'm Caboose. This is... this the sparrow tavern." Caboose said.

"It's Spartan Tavern Caboose!" A voice yelled from the kitchen area.

"Is this guy ok?" Jaune asked.

"I'm an emotional time bomb," Caboose said while looking in Jaune's direction.

"Does anyone else feel like they're in danger?" Jaune said while feeling uncomfortable.

They saw someone else walk out with a chef's apron over the armor while holding a pan while the food was still being cooked on it. They had come out of the kitchen as most of the orders were ready.

"Do I have to do everything here or what?" The chef in apron said while looking at the group.

"So 17 people that we need to make food for. Caboose give them the menu's." The chef said.

"Ok, Church!" Caboose responded loudly.

"Is he always yelling?" Sun asked.

"Yes, he is," Coco said.

"We should give a discount since there are so many bombshells here!" Tucker said from the front.

"Shut up Tucker. You want to give every girl you see free food." Church yelled at him.

"This place is very lively," Yang said while laughing.

"Yeah, it is. Why didn't you tell us about a place like this Weiss? You said that you have come here before right?" Ruby asked Weiss.

"It's because the place is weird. They may have good food but so far you can see why." Weiss said.

"I can understand that," Neptune said while looking at the staff that he has seen so far.

"Why do they have their armor on in here?" Lie Ren asked.

He knew that the place was well received and could handle large groups. It was the main reason that he thought it would be a good idea to bring everyone here. He didn't expect things to be so weird from the get fo though.

He did notice that Shallot seemed to recognize them as he said the name Spartan. He would ask him if he knew anything about this place when they are seated.

They were led to 2 large tables with 18 chairs. They all sat down while looking around while someone else brought the menus.

"What would you recommend, Ren?" Nora asked Ren as he usually makes her food. Mainly pancakes, though.

"I recommend the Blood Gulch Palette. It is a full course meal, but it is a bit pricey. You can ask for the breakfast palette that has a large number of pancakes." Lie Ren explained since he thought that Shallot would probably want it also.

Everyone else was looking at the menu with Shallot thinking about what to get. There were a lot of things that he liked on the menu. He just decided to get everything. He hasn't had a good meal in a while since he's been traveling around.

After 10 minutes of them looking through the menu and choosing what they wanted, they were ready to order.

"We are ready to order!" Coco yelled out while waving the menu above her head.

The same person that was outside came walking over.

"Bow Chika wow - wow! What can I do for you, beautiful?" Tucker came over.

Shallot slaps his face seeing this. He was the same as when he used to watch the series when he was in high school. It was a good comedy that he enjoyed back then.

Ruby looks over at Shallot and giggles seeing Shallot's reaction.

"I would like the carrot cake and the garlic parmesan roasted carrots." Velvet asks from the side.

"Alright, carrot cake and the garlic parmesan roasted carrots," Tucker said while writing down the order.

"Do you happen to be single? Mind going on a date with me?" Tucker asked, seeing the bunny girl.

Tucker ducked as a knife flew at his previous location. Tucker turned his head slowly to where the knife went. The knife was lodged into the wall completely. Tucker turned back and saw that Shallot had a smile on his face, but everyone else but his team and Velvet had a shiver run down their back seeing the smile.

The wall had shaken slightly when the knife has sunken into the wall. The other people that were inside the restaurant turned and saw that it was because of Tucker and went back to eating. The regulars knew that Tucker probably made a new customer mad.

The newer customer was antsier though and didn't know if something was going to happen. The city was recently attacked but from seeing the reaction of the others this may just be normal here.

"Why is Tucker working as the waiter now!?" Church yelled from the kitchen.

"Hey, I'm just covering for Tex because she said she was going on break," Tucker yelled back.

"I feel like you all are ashamed of me or something," Tucker said while looking toward the kitchen.

"Tucker... no... you are our friend. Even though Tex said you're useless." Caboose said while bringing over a tray of water that looked like it could fall at any time.

"This place is really fun to be in!" Nora yells out while laughing.
