What are You Cooking, Mother?

"Why are you staring at me like this?" Jae I asked nervously when she felt the obvious stare from Ashkan.

"Oh," He said pulling back from leaning in too close to her to allow her some space. "I just thought that you are as busy as everyone, well, I'm busy as well, I hate how it separates us like this. It's not like we are going to be here forever, all I wish is for us to make this time count."

Now it was Jae I's turn to stare. She hated to admit it but, he is right, sooner or later they are going to return back to their homes and God only knows when they are going to meet again after that.

"You are right, but we got to understand that some matters are out of our hands, there is nothing we can do," she said looking out at the lake as the sunlight sent its sparkles all over it, and with it came the memories. Thinking back, being in this place never ended well, there was always something that goes wrong in the end, she couldn't help but chuckle.
