The Build-up Pt. II

The words fell on his ears like thunder. He stared in front of him as he allowed himself a moment to think. "I'll be right there," he said, "go on ahead." He needed to be alone and the feeling that someone is on his tail wasn't going to help.

The maid bowed without saying another word and left. Once he heard the door lock after her, he found himself releasing the breath that he has been holding. Min Jun allowed his head to fall with a soft thud on the table. 

"What else does she want?" he mumbled. He still hasn't made up his mind on what he was going to do. Was he really going to kill Tari? On the outside he didn't know but, inside him, in the deepest parts of his heart and soul, he knew the answer there was no way that he didn't know the answer. The demons inside him were screaming on top of their lungs. 'You know the answer. It's them.'
