Little Brat

'I'M SO EXCITED!!' The researchers got into place and started draining the water. With that, they clicked a button and the front of the capsule opened. Some of the newborn pups fell while others walked a little before falling.

Then, the shot at the arm knocked them out cold. A stretcher like thing came in for each of the pups to be placed on. 'So this is how they moved me.' It was really interesting. Lang followed them out but instead of going directly to that room, they went to a white room with many syringes in them.

'I never saw this room before...' Lang wanted to know what the room was for and tapped on a researchers back. He got an idea of what she wanted to ask and tole her. It was a room for getting the pups shots. Even though they don't live long most are very vulnerable to many diseases.

'Hmm..'

Lang wanted to try giving the shots to one of them. She was already pretty close to most of the people working but she knew they would all say no.

"Sure, why not?"

'...' She was surprised they actually said yes.

They knew her pretty well by now and knew how fast she could learn. They would let her give shots after Lang watched a few other people.

After hearing that, Lang watched closely to memorize exactly what to do. It was her turn to try it for herself. Lang was super nervous with the needle in hand. Lang turned the pup to the side and carefully put the needle at the back of the neck.

She finished a few more needles and wiped her sweat. She was afraid that a mistake might be made, but everything went smooth.

"Alright, now we move on to the numbering."

'Finally!' The numbering was what she wanted to see. It was nostalgic for her. Somehow, she had a good memory of it, when she was still naive about everything. Looking back it didn't even hurt much to get numbered. Although she still has 11 numbered onto her.

Each pup was placed onto the ground after being dressed up, and Lang helped with placing them down. Then, they waited for them to wake up.

'M~ this place seems really nice and caring compared to when we got our numbers, maybe they planned it this way? I'm not sure.'

Oh the pups woke up. Just like when she had awoken, the pups were scared. That was their cue. The researchers walked in with boxes and the chair was there. Lang had watched from the window, but a small pup was staring at her.

The little guy piqued her interest in him. He looked like he was cautious of everything, not letting anything touch him, not even the other pups.

'It'd be fun if he stayed in the same cell as me.' Lang wanted the little pup to stay in the same cell because he was a little different just like she was. Lang walked into the room and snatched the board for the numbers.

'That little guy...hmm...' Lang pointed at her own mark and then pointed at the little pup in the corner who looked surprised at her pointing.

"Are you sure..? I'm not sure if I could do that... Oh... alright, just this once." The researcher marked him down to have 11 be his number. Then Lang just leaned on the wall and watched. The little kid was the last one to be marked 11. Unlike Lang, he teared up a little during the numbering.

"I-I'll escort the brat...!" Lang was just going to hang around in her cell after this so she would just escort him on the way. It would be much more exciting to have the newborn pups around.

After the numbering, the little pup got down and wiped the tears that formed. "Kay' let's go." As usual, Lang's speaking was still influenced by the guards and her growling problem didn't completely go away either, it was hard to speak long sentences and words.

Lang looked down, and the little pup was observing the other pups that were escorted by guards.

"We're her- GRRR! EMBARRASING!!!" She wished she could've hid the moment she growled! Lang opened the door and the little pup walked in. He probably didn't expect his cell to look so different. Lang had decorated her cell because it was too boring.

He probably also didn't expect for Lang to also enter the cell and locked it. The confused face he made was funny but Lang was just too embarrassed to laugh.

She laid down of the fluffy pillows and grabbed a book to read while the little brat looked around the place. Maybe the brat wasn't as similar to her than she thought? At least he wasn't killing anyone.

Lang just read books and the little brat stared at things with confusion and Anda questioning face. RING~! RING~! Lang hit the clock she had and got up. She had no use for it before, but Lang thought her movement around the place should be minimize and she set a timer for lunch breakfast and dinner.

'Lunch~' It was around when she got up the guards were out bringing lunch.

Just when she opened the gate, a guard passed by. "Hey, Bro, out for lunch! I'll get some for the pup!"

"Alright." The guard walked away and gave the meal to the next cell. The little black haired brat was left sitting in the cell on his own without any food.

~~~~~~
Lang was walking down the hall with her hands in her jacket's pockets and looking at all the cells with pups. She didn't get to walk around and see all the pups before. Lang was quite happy.
Lang got to the staff cafeteria and ran into the boss there as well and he started a conversation on her way out.
"I heard you're staying with a pup."
"Yea." Lang didn't rhino he'd take a chance to make a conversation with her so her reply was short. it made things a little awkward.
"I have ro take food, seeya later." Lang couldn't take that silence and just ended the talk there before it got awkward again. Besides, she had bring food for the little brat.
Lang walked with two trays of food and she secretly saw him reading the book she had while laying on the pillows. 'Imma scare him! uwehehe~'
