Eel Island

Unfortunately, Glade hadn't given up finding another Nightfury, or even a dragon similar to him. His drive to find a dragon like him would only be quenched when he finds one. Before he knew it, he spent 17 years training inside the Bewilderbeast's nest. Even Valka was surprised at how fast time went by.

'I've decided! I'm going out to search for another species like me.' All the training he did in the past 17 years would go to waste if he kept staying here his entire life.

Glade had spoken to Cloudjumper about it. As expected, Cloudjumper was a little sad about his choice, since they got along with eachother quite well. Despite that, he couldn't stop Glade from doing what he wanted, and told Valka about it.

Glade was going to start his adventure in a few days to get himself prepared. Valka and Cloudjumper also spent those few days with him before he left.

"Bye! Have a safe trip! Make sure to visit sometime again!"

Rrooaaarr----------!

It was time for Glade to leave for his search. Valka and Cloudjumoer, along with a lot of other dragons wished him well.

He only looked back once before taking off into the clouds. A few minutes into flying, he felt like a true Nightfury again. Flying freely through the clouds. The cold breezy winds hitting his wings.

Glade's spikes on his back, as well as the inside of his mouth had started to glow a bright blue, and he shot out a blue flaming plasma blast that exploded a tens of meters away.

The blue plasma blast had actually sent out a massive heat wave once it exploded! Even the clouds underneath it had seperated, creating a giant hole in the white fluffy clouds!

'It's not bad...!' Glade had spent three years trying to manipulate his plasma blasts in different kinds of ways. such as changing the shape, form, and even the heat it carried!

A good three hours of non-stop flight, and he found a tall island to stay on.

'There aren't many dragons here, huh.' The island had many rivers and thick forests. It didn't make much sense that there wouldn't be any dragons here.

He explored the island, and actually saw only one type of dragon. The Typhoomerang. They were massive, but also didn't seem to mind his presence on the island.

'I think there was something about them that I'm forgetting.... It can't be that serious though.'

He kept getting a wierd felling whenever he got close to the rivers though. Like his instincts told him to stay far away. Glade wasn't going to listen though. He got closer to the river and stuck his hand in.

It wasn't before long that he realized his mistake. A sharp bite was stinging on the bottom of his hand! The moment it happened and he pulled out his hand from the water, it was a black and yellow eel! Alarm bells were going off inside his head.

He didn't know why, but he just knew he didn't want to ever go near an eel. Unfortunately, the eel that was biting him didn't let go. Glade already tried shaking him off with a lot of force, but the eel was being incredibly stubborn.

Crunch----!

Even though everything in him said not to, he did it anyways. Glade had taken a bite off the entire eel's body! Suddenly, his eyes started to hurt, and the ringing in his ears was even more instense.

It was like he could hear every sound on the entire island! The strange thing is his eyes made some spots bigger and smaller than normal! Soon, a splitting headache was happening. He felt as though he was going to go insane!

Glade tried to fly away, but his wings didn't take off very far, as he landed on the ground only a few meters away from where he started. The headache was getting even worse!

'I regret eating that damned eel!!!' He almost had no control over his own body anymore.

He crashed into trees and shot plasma blasts at random things, destroying everything in sight! He even shot at a Typhoomerang! The battle afterwords was terrible. All the trees and rocks in the area burned or melted down!

Eventually, Glade shot a powerful plasma blast at the Typhoomerang's heart, and it collapsed to the ground. The next few days went on exactly like this, except the dragons started avoiding him.

He still felt the terrible headache, but most of the ringing and pain from his eyes and ears went away after a week on the island. Truly a nightmare, he hadn't eating a single thing since he killed the Typhoomerang.

Glade had passed out several times in the past week because of the headache, but when he woke up inside of a cave, there was no headache! He didn't feel anything wrong. Actually, he felt even better than before! His eyesight was better, he could hear things from tens of meters away if he wanted to!

'Maybe that eel was a blessing in disguise!' He was amazed! It felt like torture to eat the eel, however the gain of enduring that, was awsome!

'What if I eat one more....?' Glade rushed out of the cave and found the nearest river. As expected, it was filled with eel that had black and yellow stripes.

But, this time around, he couldn't feel anything telling him to go away. Even when the eels jumped from the water. There was nothing telling him to run anymore. So, Glade stuck his head into the water and quickly pulled out another eel.

He quickly swallowed it whole this time. A minute passed, and nothing happened! The eel didnt taste bad either. It actually tasted a lot tastier than fish, compared to before! After eating nothing in the past week, he scarfed down the eels one by one.

'Phew~ That was delicoous~!' His stomache was full and he was pretty happy now. However, he knew he couldn't stay on the island any longer.

Once Glade's food was digested, he took off and flew in a random direction.
