Samantha's POV

I sat on the couch with Kiefer, leaning against him with his arm around me. We decided to watch takers before we were interrupted by Blake. As much as I would have love to watch Chris Brown, I couldn't stop thinking about Blake.

After everything he said, why would he come to my house and try to talk to me. He said it was important and it must be for him to come to my house after making it clear that he never wanted to see me again. As important as I thought it was I don't care, after everything he said to me I didn't want to ever have to talk to him again.

"Are you seriously thinking about that douche?" Kiefer asked, breaking me from my train of thoughts.

"No," I lied.

"Liar."

"Okay, I'm lying. I'm just curious about what he wanted." I said.

"Don't be." He said.

"Well since you say so," I said, sarcastically.

"Listen, he doesn't even deserved to be thought about."

"Oh my god, he's going to definitely attack me in school."

"No, he won't cause I'll be with you the whole day."

"No, you won't you're a senior, you kind of take different classes than me." I said pointing out the obvious.

"I know, but I'm the captain of the football team, I have eyes everywhere." Kiefer said.

Kiefer was right, he did have eyes everywhere because in my first class, normally where Blake sat there was a blonde haired boy with big muscle.

"You're in my seat." Blake growled when he walked in late.

Before the boy could respond, the teacher did.

"Mr. Frost you're disturbing my class, take another seat." The teacher said.

I thought it was just a coincidence but the same boy followed me to my next class, and sat by me.

Walking to my next class, I'm starting to get worried when I felt someone following behind me.

"Are you stalking me?" I said as I stopped walking and turned towards the blonde kid who was behind me.

"No, but if someone is stalking you, I don't think that would be the best way to confront them." He said with a laugh.

"So, what are you doing then?" I asked, walking with him to our next class.

"Looking out for you." He replied.

"Ah, so you're a friend of Kiefer?"

"Yup, you can call me Adam." He said.

"Samantha."

"I know. We have all our classes together." He said.

"Oh, you look a little older to be a junior." I said.

"I got left back."

"Oh well, thanks I guess." I said as we entered our next class.

"You should have told me that you were sending some huge guy to follow me around all day." I said to Kiefer, as I reached the lunch table.

"I didn't think you would mind."

"I don't. I just would like to know that he isn't some crazy stalker next time." I said trying to be annoyed, but I was actually thankful.

When I walked to my last class of the day I could see Blake sitting in his seat. Crap! He got here early.

I turned towards Ryan but he already was ahead of me whispering to some skinny boy with glasses, the kid immediately got up and Adam sat down.

"Samantha, sit in front of me." He said.

"Okay." I said as I walked to the seat. I glanced over to Blake, and he was fuming. I guess he got the point that I didn't want to talk to him.

When the last bell rang, Adam followed me to my locker.

"It's okay Adam, I think I'll be okay now." I said.

"Are you sure? 'Cause I could stay." He said.

"Yes go, I'll be fine. Thanks."

"No problem. If anyone bothers you, let me know and I'll kill them." He said.

"Don't worry, I will." I said with a smile.

Adam was a cool guy. We talked throughout the day and he wasn't as scary as he seemed, he was actually a sweetheart.

Aya looked at me with questioning eyes.

"Okay, so first you're with Blake, and then you go all crazy yesterday, and now you're being followed by some hunk. Wanna tell me what's going on?" She asked.

I sighed, I'm really not in the mood to talk about this, but I was going to have to tell her sooner or later.

"Well basically, Blake told me yesterday that I meant nothing to him that he was only my friend so he could sleep with me. Oh, and he doesn't wanna talk to me ever again." I said it nonchalantly even though it pained me to think about it.

I looked over to Aya to see that her eyebrows were raised and her mouth was opened.

"That bastard!" She said.

"Yeah, well I'm over it. But yesterday he came to my house wanting to tell me something important but I didn't listen and now Kiefer's sending all his friends to watch me and keep Blake away."

"Wow. Blake is so stupid, on so many levels."

The hall was clearing; I knew I had to wait for Kiefer while he practiced so I took my time.

"Samantha." A voice said from behind me. The voice that I was trying to go my entire day without hearing.

"Please, just leave me alone." I said closing my locker, to face Blake.

"I really need to talk to you about something Samantha, It's really important. I know I was a jerk to you yesterday and I'm sorry but I can explain everything." Blake said to me, looking at me with his beautiful eyes.

I actually thought about hearing him out for a second, but everytime I want to tell him, I kept thinking about everything he said to me the other day.

"No. You don't get to hurt me like that and then get a chance to talk to me. You messed everything up. So just leave me alone." I said then turn to walk away, but his hand grasped my arm keeping me from leaving.

"Listen please Samantha, I can explain every-" He began to say but I interrupted him.

"No Blake you listen, you think you're so amazing that every girl will fall for you and do what you say, but not me. I don't care what you have to say. You're just some bad boy player who I thought was my friend, stupid me. But I'm not going to stand here and listen to what you have to say because I'm done." I said as I used all my strength in my body to pull away from his grasp and leave.

Blake's POV

I walked into school today intending to speak with Samantha, but she made sure that I wasn't able to. Everywhere she went she had Kiefer or some tall blonde kid who was clearly taking steroids following her around.

I wanted to punch that blonde kid right in the face, but I knew that if I did that it would lessen the chances of speaking to Samantha.

When I finally caught up to her in the hallway she told me off.

"No Blake you listen, you think you're so amazing that every girl will fall for you and do what you say, but not me. I don't care what you have to say. You're just some bad boy player who I thought was my friend, stupid me. But I'm not going to stand here and listen to what you have to say because I'm done." She said, and then pulled away from me and then left.

When she said that I was shocked so my grip loosened. Even though everything she said was true, it still hurts.

As soon as she walked away, I punched the locker out of frustration, leaving a big dent.

I knew I had to try to talked to Kiefer if she wasn't going to listen to me.

Kiefer's POV

I was so mad today. Thinking about how much that asshole hurt Samantha. She meant so much to me and to see her cry like that makes me want to kill that bastard.

Samantha's amazing in so many ways, shd doesn't deserved to be treated like this. She deserves so much better.

I knew Blake was going to try and talk to Samantha in school, but Adam made sure he stayed away from her.

I let out so much anger during practice, and it felt good.

But it all returned as soon as I walked out of the locker room and saw Blake leaning against the wall with his arm crossed.

"Listen, I just want to talk." He said with his hand out in surrender.

"I don't care." I said as I began to walk away.

"Samantha's in danger." He said from behind me, which made me stop and go still.

"This is what I wanted to talk to you about." Blake said, my back still turned to him.

I took deep breaths and walked towards him.

"Speak." I said, trying to control my anger.

"Long story short, me and my brother and sister were on the run from a gang. The leader of a gang had us followed and now has pictures of me and Samantha. If he thinks Samantha's important to me he's going to want to use her to his advantage." Blake said.

I knew there was a lot of gang activity near where we lived but to actually hear it, was weird. But as soon as he said that they want Samantha something went off in me.

My heart began to beats fast against my chest. Why does this has to happen to her? She's been through so much already.

"So this is your fault?" I asked, angrily.

"I tried to end things with her so this wouldn't happen, I'm sorry." Blake said, I could see the regret and guilt in his eyes.

"You're sorry means nothing." I growled.

"Me and my sibling could protect Samantha but she needs to let us." Blake said, which immediately tripled my rage.

"YOU AND YOUR SIBLINGS STAY AWAY FROM SAMANTHA! SHE'S GONE THROUGH SO MUCH AND SHE DOESN'T NEED THIS CRAP. I'LL PROTECT HER." I screamed inches from his face, then stormed off.

I had no idea what I was going to do, butone thing I did know was that I didn't want Samantha to know any of this.
