Samantha's POV

I was set on ignoring the world and zoning out as long as I needed too, but of course that didn't happen.

As I lay on the couch watching television attempting to forget about the ache in my heart, I heard Kiefer whispering on the phone in the kitchen. I soon forgot about his mysterious phone call when he sat on the couch beside me watching television.

After a half hour or so the bell rang, I don't know why but my heart jumped out of my chest thinking it was Blake, but I was wrong.

Kiefer got up too answer the door, my attention still focused on the TV set.

"Baby girl I am not letting you fall into a deep depression this time." I heard Adam say as he stood in front of the television set.

"Please go away!" I mumbled as I lifted the blanket over my head.

I wasn't in the mood to deal with this right now. I didn't understand why no one let me do what I wanted. I was content with staying home moping around and feeling sorry for myself.

"No Samantha, we want to help you." I head another voice say, which I recognized to be Aya's.

"I don't need help; I just need to be left alone." I said still under the covers.

"I am not playing this game Samantha." Adam said, as I felt arms wrap around my waist lifting me up.

The cover fell to the ground, and I realized that Adam was holding me over his shoulder, walking up the stairs.

"Let me down!" I said, as I begin to bang my fist against his back.

"No, you're getting changed and were taking you out I don't care what you say." Adam said.

"Kiefer I hate you!" I screamed loud enough so that he could hear.

All of a sudden I was dropped on my bed.

"Aya's staying here to make sure you don't escape, im waiting down stairs." Adam said before he left my room.

"UGH!" I said while I laid back on my bed.

"Come on Sam were just trying to help." Aya said as she went through my closet picking out my clothes.

"I know but Im j ust not in the mood to be helped." I replied.

After I got dressed, Adam and Aya took me to the mall.

"Why are we here?" I asked.

"For some shop therapy." Aya replied.

We went into some stores and I bought a few things. The shopping was at least taking my mind off of Blake, until we went to eat.

"So you don't have to tell us what happened." Bella said.

"But we want you to know were always here to listen." Adam continued.

"I know and I want to tell you guys but first I want to thank you for being here for me." I said with a smile.

"No problem baby, that's what friends are for." Adam replied.

I told them everything that happened last night between Blake and me, and then I told them what he said to me earlier. When I was finished they looked at me in disbelief.

"Im so sorry baby girl." Adam said.

"You deserve so much better." Aya continued.

"I know that, but I think I might still have feelings for him." I said as I put my head down on the table.

"That's normal to still have feelings for him, they just don't disappear overnight." Adam said.

"I just feel so stupid because I actually still want to be with him. How is that even possible?" I asked.

"Don't feel stupid Sam, he was the first boy you considered loving, and that hard to deal with." Aya said.

"Listen I don't know how you're feeling, but I do know how hard it is for you to let yourself love someone. After he hurt you like that, i know you must be feeling broken, and betrayed, but I think you should put yourself in Blake's shoes." Aya continued.

I looked up at her in disbelief.

"Aya now is not the time." Adam muttered to her.

I couldn't even let myself think about that right now, so I just brushed it off.

"Sorry Sam." Aya muttered.

"Its fine, your right anyway. But I just can't put myself in his shoes when I feel so...broken." I said.

"Enough depressing talk...Brandon's party tomorrow are you excited?" Adam said.

Oh the party, I forgot all about it. "I don't think im going to go..." I said.

Both their head shot up, looking at me in disbelief.

"What?" I asked.

"You have to go Sam, it's going to be huge!" Aya said.

"I don't really feel up to it." I said.

"Come on, I bet Blake's going to be there." Adam said.

"Another reason not to go."

"Sam you gotta make Blake suffer, and the party is a perfect opportunity." Aya said.

I just looked at her confused.

"Sam, you go to that party looking drop dead gorg and have a good time, it's going to kill Blake." Adam said.

"I don't understand..." I said.

"If you're at the party having fun, then he will know that you're not crying your eyes out over him at home. It will show him that he hurt you but didn't break you...even though he did." Adam said.

"I guess so...." I said.

"Don't guess you, know." Aya said.

After more bonding time with Adam and Aya, I actually felt a little better.

"Kiefer im home." I said as I got through the door.

I heard voices in the kitchen, so I went to go see who was here.

"Hey Sam, you know Trent." Kiefer said as he gestured to the handsome guy sitting next to him at the table.

"Yeah. Hi Trent." I said.

"Hey." He said back with a gorgeous smile.

"Are you going to Brandon's party tomorrow?" Kiefer asked.

"Yeah, are you?" I asked.

"Of course, Brandon is Trent's cousin so a lot of older kids will be there. Be careful." He said.

"Oh, and I always am." I said with a smile.

"Yeah sure. I heard Blake will be there, are you sure you will be okay?" Kiefer asked nonchalantly.

I looked at him with wide eyes, I couldn't believe he brought up Blake with Trent sitting right there.

"Uhm yeah..." I muttered.

"What's up with the Frost kid?" Trent asked.

Kiefer looked at me to confirm whether or not he should tell Trent, I just nodded my head. Might as well tell him.

"They used to have a thing, but he's a jerk and I don't want him near Sam." Kiefer said.

"Well in that case, I'll be on the lookout." Trent said with a smile directed at me.

I tried to push back my blush, but I don't think I was successful.

"Well I guess I'll just go upstairs then." I said turning to leave.

"Uhm, Samantha, why don't you hang out down here with us." Trent said sheepishly.

I looked over to Kiefer to see if he minded but his facial expression remain calm and okay.

"Sure." I said.

The rest of the night was spent watching scary movies with Kiefer and Trent.

Of course I was the little baby sitting in between the 2 big boys on the couch hiding behind a pillow, and screaming often.

We were all focused on the movie when I heard the front door knob turn. It was dark in the living room so all I could see was a dark large flgure standing in the hall.

"AHHH!" I screamed jumping onto Trent's lap, holding on to him for dear life.

All of a sudden the lights turned on to reveal Kiesha standing there with an amused expression on her face.

Trent, Kiefer, and Kiesha started to hysterically laughing, and soon I joined in too.

When I realized I was sitting on Trent's lap, I could tell a bright red blush appeared on my face.

"Sorry." I said as I began to get off of him.

He held on to my arm stopping me from leaving.

"It's okay, I didn't have a problem with that. In cace you should get scared more often." He said with a wink, which Im sure made the blush appear brighter on my cheeks.

"Alright well I should probably get going. I'll see you guys tomorrow night." Trent said before he left the house.

"Samantha and Trent sitting in a tree K-i-s-s-i-n-g..." Kiefer said in a sing song.

"Shut up!" I said to Kiefer who continued singing.

"First comes love, next comes marriage, then comes a little Samantha in a baby ca-" Kiefer said before I hit him with a pillow in the face, stopping him from singing.

"Oh your regret that Samantha." He said as he began to get up and move closer to me.

"Oh really? Watcha gonna do?" I asked as I slowly backed away.

"Let me show you." Kiefer said as he began to chase me around the house.

Laughing and playing with Kiefer kept my mind off Blake, but when I was up in my room alone all my thoughts went back to him.

I guess tonight was going to be another sleepless night.
