You Grow Up?
Feeling an itch all over his skin, the announcement of the system helped Arthur understand and not want to tear it all apart.

As if feeling his skin peeling, Arthur jumped out of bed to avoid getting it dirty. Rushing to the bathroom, that painful itch was getting annoying. Looking in the mirror, Arthur noticed that his skin had a multicolored glow.
His feet in particular were tingling intensely, with the old skin falling off and the new skin growing and looking better, but at the same time as firm as a rock. The elasticity was still there, but he suspected he couldn't take any kind of injury that easily anymore.
Watching this wave of energy ripping off his skin and bringing a new one, Arthur noticed the strangeness of the situation. It always seemed like it started at her feet before coming to her head. It was just a curious point, but it was still remarkable.
After almost 1 hour of this, Arthur was lying on the bathroom floor and breathing heavily. He was not tired physically, but mentally. Resisting the itch on his face was the worst part. Without taking away that his surroundings were full of hair. Yes, the skin of his head was also renewed and his hair was replaced by new, silkier and stronger.
Thanks to that, he felt his body stronger, with an improvement almost focused on his skin. Now it looked tighter in his muscles, and the sight of Arthur's body would be too seductive for any girl.
Just when he thought it was all over, new messages appeared. This time he was feeling his blood bubbling.

This process this time was no longer happening outside the body, but inside, in his veins and marrow. A wave of unknown energy was sweeping the entire length of the veins. Wherever it went, it left only one or two molecules of golden blood within the thousands. Those golden molecules seemed to have gained a super power and where it went, it made the body healthier. They all also seemed to be heading towards the heart.
About two hours later, Arthur wasn't even panting anymore. It was a very pleasant improvement and he felt his body was as healthy as ever. It was definitely a very interesting overall body improvement.
But he already expected one more thing to happen.

Feeling a pleasurable surge through his brain and nervous system, Arthur's mind went into a fascinating clearing, and he didn't even pay attention to the notifications anymore, entering a state of heightened consciousness. The mana barrier at his core seemed to have opened up on its own, and the mana, now powerful enough, began to feed on even more of the red energy. It looked like all-out war, but at least they didn't look like rabbits waiting to be slaughtered anymore. The mana through all the channels also went on a rampage and started attacking the black slime in whatever channels they could. They especially focused on the channels which were almost clean and low on goo.
In Arthur's mind, scenes of his struggles began to appear and he began to practice alone. It was almost like an instinct, his brain analyzing the movements and seeing which ones made the most sense. If he proceeded with that, he would surely become even more powerful.
Reddish mana also began to slowly emerge from Arthur's body, especially through his hands and feet. It appeared to be a thin, heavy mist without any control. But it gradually began to take shape and be skillfully controlled. It was still very weak and couldn't touch anything firmly, but it was already a great advance. The only downside to this was the massive mana consumption that was happening without Arthur noticing.
This state unfortunately only lasted for 1 minute before it went away.
Opening his eyes, a smile appeared on his face.
"That's an interesting improvement..."

'I still have no idea how the leveling system works, but isn't this experience a little absurd?' Somewhat shocked by the amount of experience, Arthur almost rolled his eyes at the System. He realized that skills always start at 1000 points, but different ranks would give a different increase in experience amounts.
Picking himself up off the floor and letting the matter go, Arthur looked down at his hands, excited. That's because just now he tested his theory and saw that he could now expel mana. It was still very weak and he didn't have enough control. His core seal also seemed to be getting in the way for some reason.
His mana seemed to have doubled thanks to the release of that new mana channel, so it was easy to associate. But he still couldn't spend everything he had, which meant the problem was at his core. And the only problem there was the seal.

"Okay so. Go to your classroom, you still have an activity to do." Emily laughed a little and said goodbye. They were much closer and talked a lot, so she even knew the most basic things.
Arriving in the classroom, the same comment came from Beatrice. It was even more notable because she was already much shorter than Arthur. Now she was feeling even smaller.
Sitting in his chair, Arthur closed his eyes to the classes that were taking place. His concentration was on his breathing, which gradually calmed down and he went into meditation again. "Can't you go a day without committing a crime?" Magikeen answered on the other end, just as she also appeared in her car next to Arthur's.
"I could make a pretty rough pick-up line out of this, but I think it's best to keep quiet. I feel less ashamed..." Arthur almost laughed at the realization of her thoughts. "You still owe me a favor. Want to bet him here?"
