Designer section; this option was provided only to mechanic registered by mechanic association.
Battle Glory, was the game fully approved by the mechanic association hence this was also the game with the highest player count. The player being almost everyone including military, mercenary, security personnel, and others.
Registering himself under the name Rising Sun, Eden began the designing process. He had made some designs before, but he was studying at that time. This was going to be his first mechanical suit after he graduated. The license he bought back then could still be used, but this time he was going to tweak them a little.
"My first original after graduation. What if I failed, won't I be making a joke of myself!" Eden murmured.
Eden started from the basic frame, the backbone of the suit. Then he started to scratch around. Then after finishing an overall hollow frame, he began adding a miniature power reactor, flight booster, balancer, and other important pieces of equipment one by one.
The whole process took five hours. Finally, he finished assembling all parts into a complete suit and covering it with 'XNS-Alloyed' metal armor. But was it done? "Not yet," Eden answered.
"There's no point in tweaking more before I get it performance report."
Eden activated the environment simulation. After around ten minutes of normal environment simulation, he got the results. It was a good result overall.
"Let's add stress."
Eden wasn't done with just a normal simulation. Normal combat suits were fine to sell, once it's overall result was confirmed to be good. Eden though wanted to know how it was going to perform under harsh conditions. In other words, he wanted to test its limit.
After five minutes of the stress test, the results were still good.
"Let's add even more stress." Eden resolved to achieve more. Finally, after eight minutes of intense stress, the suit started to break down.
Eden was overall quite satisfied with the results. The ending environment was so stressful that it was quite unrealistic, that didn't mean there was nonexistent.
"Now then last part before finalizing the design, Weapon." Eden was focused on this before the stress test.
Plasma rifle, laser rifle, assault rifle, rail guns, and so on, there was a lot to choose from.
"Laser rifle it is than. Let's focus on both close-range combat and long-range combat." Eden concluded. Then he chose a foldable laser rifle as the main weapon.
Then he went ahead and added aim assist in one of the suit's eyes and voice assistant software. He then left two empty slots for the player to add modules based on their choices.
After adding red and golden color in the exterior he finalized his design and submitted it under the name, CS Mark-I.
As for the price, he set it after adding 1000 credit as profit per piece. The fact that he left two empty slots for players to choose, was already a luxury. Most of the combat suits only provided one slot at most.
By the time he left, the total price of the suit had almost touched the premium segment.
Did Eden care? Absolutely not. As far as he was concerned he completed the system's mission that was left pending for a very long time.
- Congratulation, Main mission partially completed. -
Rewards:
- Host can now fully interact with system.
- Host can now spend System Points (SP) to increase attributes.
- System's store partially opened. (Based on current main mission status.)
[ Do focus on the total completion of the mission. ]
