Next morning when Eden woke up and opened up his computer terminal, he was shocked.

After finishing his long time pending mission; he was in no rush to complete any more mission hastily. He wanted to take some time to rest. But somehow by morning he actually completed two mission in a row.

First was the mission he received after his partial completion of main mission. Eden did hope, it would be sold in one or two days.

But it didn't just got sold. No it was the hottest item in the in-game shop. The sales numbers had already crossed one thousand units and was slowly increasing in number. In other words he was rich.

Eden was in disbelief. But it was good too; he had whole week for himself to complete his remaining partial mission.

After checking balance and making note of all things he required to to complete the mission he left his home and entered core of Racoon City.

Planet Coco was comparatively one of middle class planet in entire Dome star cluster. Dome star cluster itself was a forth rate star cluster system. Racoon city is one of the heavily populated business city of the planet. The main reason for this was the branch of both mechanic association and gene association. Hence, the moment one graduated from the high school or university one could register themselves and start earning at once.

Today Eden was planning to buy a modular comm. A student wasn't allowed to use other comm, except the ones provided by institute. Hence till now he to use computer terminal whenever he required higher processing power.

Now that he had graduated he no longer needed such useless comm. He entered market and bought a powerful ear comm and a modular hand band. Then bought gene production module and scanning module.

In this world if you don't have a comm. You were stuck without any path to move forward. A comm wasn't just a communication or a small computer. No, it was a lot more.

It could show you your digital version,so you could know your level and attributes. You can add module based on your requirements and never have to open a computer terminal or any business platform. You can do anything you want on the go. Once you consume any gene reagents your comm could show you your genetic abilities. It is also a security key to your belongings. Hence having a comm was a must.

When he left the market he was one hundred twenty thousand credit down. One tenth of the money he earned from sales of combat suit was flushed in one moment. Did he regret it? Absolutely not. This is something he needed to do, hence it didn't matter if it was now rather than later.

Then he entered Gene Development Association and registered himself. This time though he met some of his friends from high school. After spending some time with them he left the area and entered gene market. Eden bought twenty blood essence of Giant Ape.

Ratio of chance; of success on gene production was different for each person. In other words it depend on person luck. However according to gene association, chance of success on gene production in average started from one in five, to one in thousand based on complexity of gene strains.

After paying twenty thousand credits he hastily left the market taking twenty small vials of red liquid. Unlike other markets gene market was always loud and noisy; reason for that happened to be the mutant animals.

Because the gene producer had to try again and again gene market was very successful in earning large amount of profit. These creatures were no longer killed; instead they were captured from wild and kept in simulated environment. Because of this kind of situation there has been huge increase in wild life population.

Gene reagents on the other hand was very expensive. Even though the value of raw materials was quite low, gene producer had to try again and again. There were very few producer that was able to produce gene reagents every time. They were even termed as genus.

Eden's own production success ratio was one in five in average. Hence,it wasn't so bad.

But it still pissed him off, a little.

This always remained him of one of his enemy, Victor. One of the top student of his batch. He had zero failure rate. Though some students claimed in was because of his genetic abilities, there was no rules stating it was illegal to consume gene reagents in highschool.

Money itself was a form of power. And being son of a multi billionaire did come with it's perks. And that was another reason why he hated Victor. Being rich means lots of enemies. Lot's of enemies means requirement of best security. In Dome star cluster best security meant retired soldiers,in this context Warson.

When a rich bastard's son studies in the same highschool where his security personnel's son studies, there was bound to be war. At least in context of Eden. Eden never wanted to believe Victor was good at anything.

If he was that good or genius as everyone claimed, why not study in one of the best highschool instead of joining second best. It didn't make any sense. Did this guy suddenly appeared here just to piss me off?

Those were the exact words he replied to Victor whenever they were verbally accusing eachother.

Entering home he opened his comm and inserted gene production module in his band and scanning module in ear comm.

Giant Ape had two attributes that had highest chance of appearing, strength and smell sense. Which one would appear when he made gene reagent, no-one knew. The answer would be found only after scanning the final reagent. The result he was looking for was strength attributes.
