All's Not Lost...

A cracking sound startled few students out of their task at hand.

Those who didn't, suddenly jumped when the blonde guy started screaming in pain.

The other person who was also very surprised at the sudden noise was the professor. The blonde was just that loud.

As for the one, who was responsible for the event, he just walked ahead, as if he had no idea of what was going on, at all.

He had already bought out the module from the storage in his hand. While everyone was looking at the blonde, Eden placed his result in-front of the professor, who was sitting behind the desk.

"Professor, I have completed the task."

The professor finally changed his gaze from the blonde to the student in front of him.

"Oh! Ok, place that on the university's sales market. Before that make a list of specifications based on the capabilities of your design." Professor replied before turning his gaze back to the blonde.

As instructed, Eden placed the module on the simulation before copying with the entire results and placing the module on the university's virtual market.

Now he just had to wait, for it to be sold.

It was that easy task. However, it also was a bit unreasonable. Who knew if their fabricated stuff would even sell, in the big mess of the stuff that was placed on the virtual market.

And that screeching sound of blonde didn't help either.

However, after waiting for three or so minutes, the guy suddenly stopped screaming. If anyone looking at his face, they could see a type of odd expression of bliss.

"The h*ll? What's with that face?" Eden too exclaimed while looking at the blonde strange expression.

Almost as if to answer the question, the guy just stood up like the previous event was just some show, and he was just an actor.

Eden of course didn't care about the guy at all. But this sudden change really made him feel odd.

Genetic abilities? But it didn't seem like it.

"Superhuman"

Suddenly, Eden concluded after some further thought. There were after all no external changes around the blonde.

While Eden was thinking about the situation, the guy started giving him a very angry glare?

"Oh! So you wanna play huh." The guy spoke simply as if the previous event was nothing

"Seems like this guy really needs a good beating," Eden concluded, before turning his gaze back at the sales panel.

So what if the guy was a Superhuman?

Could he do anything to Eden?

No.

Beep...

A sound suddenly sounded from the panel, confirming the sale of the module.

Eden smiled before turning his gaze back to the professor.

"Professor, the module has been sold."

"Already?" The professor questioned astonished, before turning towards the sales panel for verification, "Very good, you may go for now. The next topic will be handed out to you next week."

Nodding his head on the confirmation, he took his leave from the class.

As for the blonde, who had claimed to take care of him after the class, just couldn't do anything. After all, by the time Eden had sold the module, he hadn't even started anything.

And that screaming event before has already caused the professor to constantly watch him again and again.

Reluctantly, he went to his own terminal and started fiddling around some gears.

While he was returning back to his place, he started thinking back about those like blonde.

To be more precise, he started thinking about the Supers.

"Supers" was a common word that was used to represent both Superhuman and the Super-Soldiers.

However, unlike Super-Soldiers who were the face of war and also considered the pride of the military force, Superhumans though was different.

Superhumans were the humans that were born with certain abilities.

Not every ability was good for combat purposes. In many cases, it was actually the exact opposite. There were lots of superhumans whose abilities were not useful when it came to military purposes.

But that didn't mean, they didn't have any value. Instead, these people were considered the only second to the Super-Soldiers.

They were the ones who actually had lots of chances of breaking past the limits.

In other words, they were also highly valued.

"A self-healing super," Eden mumbled. "Oh Well. I have already got an entire royal family on my *ss, what's a non-combat super going to change."

Eden let go of any other thoughts.

Just then, he just got a notification on the system panel.

.....

[New Mission]

[Mark an uninhabitable planet, with a massive amount of mineral.

Rewards will be provided based on the rarity and the overall quality of the raw materials.]

.....

"Mark a planet?" Eden questioned himself, "What's the meaning of marking a planet? Also, it had to be an uninhabitable planet?"

However, the most strange thing was the requirements of the mission.

Specifically, the one that said "Massive amount of Mineral". And the reward was based on the rarity and quality of the mineral.

Almost as if already expected to the reaction, the system started giving him information.

[To mark any object, the host has to place the Spot Marker on the other layer of the planet.

If the object happened to not consist of any living beings residing in it, the object will be considered as the property of the host.]

"Wait! Does that mean dropping one spot marker on a planet will make an entire planet into my property?" Eden asked in disbelief.

[A Spot Marker can only mark a certain area. To mark a planet, the host needs to place the marker based on the size of the planet.]

"So if I place a spot marker on any object, it becomes mine?" Eden was still in shock.

[It depends on the type of objects.]

Somehow, after hearing the reply from the system his face had started changing from shocked to ugly.

"Three months ago, when I was traveling on a ship." Eden started speaking with a hint of rage in his voice, "It got attacked by the pirates."

"If I had placed the Marker on the disrupter, would it have been mine?" He continued, "After all, there were no humans or living beings on that massive disrupter."

[Affirmative.]

"Well, F**k."

Eden finally lost his temper.

He had a got cheat object on the very next mission he completed after being able to interact with the system, and he still had no idea about it till now.

"I am such an idiot." Eden finally started lamenting thinking back about his foolishness.

Hundreds of millions worth massive disrupter stood right in front of him and he didn't use his chances. Why?

Because he had no idea about what types of objects he had on the system's inventory.

After a few minutes of cursing, he finally calmed himself down.

"All's not lost." Eden started planning, "Now that I know how to use the d*mn thing, it's time to change my entire strategy."

Eden finally made up his mind.

"It's time to earn massive."

"Massive what?"

"EVERYTHING"
