104 : Terran Escape

"So Axion was the Princess, and Valerius is indeed her brother. And Verchiel is an angel, like an actual angel," said Lahap.

"It appears so," Maskmana replied.

"And that was 3000 years ago? So Axion is like an old grandma? Wow," said Ramenman.

"More like a great-great-great grandma but… okay," said Vion.

"That's not fair," said Rum. "It was never her fault that she got cursed. It's not fair they hated her for the way she was born."

"That's life. A lot of places in this universe are unfair. And that's beyond us," said Maskmana.

"So, now, Valerius is still hunting her down. Along with the angel and his faithful knight," said Kaizo.

"Yes. We need to find her first before Valerius finds her," said Maskmana.

"But where should we go?" Rum asked.

"Looking at all the clues it's 90% possible that Axion is on her way to the Milky Way Galaxy," said Vion.

"Yeah. We can wait for Mars station to contact us or we can narrow it down to a planet," said Kaizo as he looked at Maskmana and Vion. Clearly, he can't wait.

"She should be on her way to her Demon Kingdom. That's the place where she's the strongest. The magic in the demon territory amplifies her power," said Vion.

"So she's on her way to Terra then?" said Kaizo.

"... no... I don't think she's going to Terra," said Maskmana.

"If it's not Terra, where else would she go?" Ramenman asked.

"I first met her on a planet within the Milky way galaxy. But it wasn't Terra. It was named TrES-2b on our star map. The darkest planet that reflects less than 1% of any light that hits it. We called it the dark planet," said Maskmana.

They all looked at Maskmana.

"She was there, sitting on a throne, ruling an entire planet filled with monsters," he continued grimly.

"That's possible," said Vion. "The monsters on the Dark planet are stronger and more vicious than the demons on Terra. Plus, if she goes to Terra, Verchiel won't be the only angel that will hunt her."

"I-im sorry, an ENTIRE planet of monsters? For real?" Ramenman asked.

"Wait, I thought her Kingdom is on Terra," said Rum.

"Her Kingdom of demons IS on Terra. But she sort of went to TrES-2b, went on a rampage, and called herself the new Queen of the dark planet in which no one on that planet objected to her declaration of new ruler…." said Vion. "She even built herself a big castle on that planet."

"TrES-2b was a planet filled with wild monsters that could run loose to other planets. Axion went to that planet and stopped all the monsters from going outside TrES-2b," said Maskmana.

"Cool…." Ramenman mumbled in awe.

"So all the monsters on that planet follow Axion," said Kaizo.

"Yes. And if she truly wants to stay away from us, we'll be fighting those monsters to pave our way to her," said Maskmana.

"Let's go then," said Kaizo.

"You do realize that you're going to a planet with hundreds of monsters that could rip you apart, right?" Ramenman asked.

"I'll take any chance to bring her back," said Kaizo.

"We will go to the Dark Planet. In the meantime, all personnel of Astraeus will hold Valerius and his people in this station," said Maskmana.

Suddenly, Maskmana's computer let out a beeping sound. He presses a button and communication is established.

"What is it?" Maskmana asked.

"The guest from Terra is ready to take off," said the voice from the other side.

"What?!"

Maskmana looked at Kaizo. They all rushed to go out. Before Maskmana walked through his office door, he noticed a clay doll in the corner. He kneeled and inspected it.

"What is that?" Ramenman asked.

"It's the Terrans. They've been spying on us. They know where Axion is. We need to stop them!" said Maskmana.

They hurriedly run through the lobby. Maskmana orders his men through his communicator as he runs.

"Close the hangar! All personnel report to the hangar and stop the people from Terra! I repeat! The Terrans must not leave!" Maskmana yells through his mask.

The alarm blares everywhere. The hangar is bustling with armed rangers. By the time Maskmana and the others arrived, the shootout had already broken out.

Maskmana takes cover behind a stack of big metal crates. Kaizo and his team pulled their weapons behind him.

"Sir, what's the order for the Terrans? Do we arrest them?" ask a staff member.

"Yes. I'm calling an arrest. They must not leave this station. Get someone to neutralize that spaceship!" said Maskmana.

On the battlefield, Zivon is negating all the attacks with his sword. A pair of white wings on his back helped him fly around to evade. Valerius flies not far from him. Verchiel is in the pilot seat. Their spaceship's engine is warming up. Ready to take off.

Rain of fire filled the hangar. Valerius swiftly swings his sword. He concentrated his magic on his left hand to block the attacks. Zivon landed on the ground and attacked several cadets before he jumped to fly again.

Two alarms at each edge of the hangar door blared as they glared red. Valerius and Zivon looked to see the hangar door slowly closing.

"Terrans. You are under arrest. Surrender now. I repeat. Surrender NOW!" said Maskmana through the loudspeaker.

Valerius and Zivon looked at each other. They nodded. They pick up their pace and clear the runway. But suddenly, Kaizo appears and attacks Valerius.

Valerius pulled back and landed. They looked at each other with hostility and caution. He glanced at Zivon to see Ramenman is fighting him on the other side.

"You don't understand. You don't know what she can do to the world," said Valerius.

"Then stay, and make me understand," said Kaizo menacingly as he raised his sword.

Kaizo lunged fast at Valerius. Valerius evades by jumping back. But his attack keeps coming. Valerius keeps blocking his attack with his swords as he keeps moving back.

He goes low and swings his sword. But Kaizo jumped and landed behind him. Valerius quickly turned and swung his sword. But Kaizo blocked it.

A loud thud echoed. The hangar's door is completely shut.

"Terrans. You are now surrounded. Drop your weapons and surrender!" said Maskmana through the loudspeaker. He put down the speaker and covered it with his hand.

"How's the progress on their ship?" Maskmana asked.

"I can't hack it remotely. The ship is unfamiliar," said Rum.

"I suspected as much. Vion, any ideas?"

"Not much. I can see hints of Cybertronian technology. But that ship is nothing like I've ever seen on Cybertron," said Vion.

"Lahap is almost there. Once he attached the hacking device, we can take over the ship," said Rum as she tampered with her laptop.

"Hmmm… we need plan B. Pull out the cannons," said Maskmana.

One of Maskmana's crew nodded and rushed to inform the other crew.

Meanwhile, Lahap and several cadets are getting close to the ship. They sneak through the battlefield. Led by Lahap, they shoot metal hooks around the ship. Once the ship is secured by the hooks, Lahap shoots the ship's door and gets inside.

"Valerius, they're locking our ship!" said Verchiel through the communicator.

Zivon spread his wings and flew away. Unable to catch up, Ramenman could only watch.

Zivon swiftly cuts all the chains that hold down the ship. With a flap of his wings, he blew away all personnel around the ship.

From the ship's hole, Zivon saw Lahap get thrown out. He looked at the ship and saw Verchiel standing there. He turns his gaze to Valerius and flies to him.

Valerius spread his wings and flew towards the ship. But Kaizo chased him. Using his energy power as stepping stones, he catches up with Valerius in the air. He raises his sword, ready to cut down Valerius. Valerius turned. He blocked Kaizo's attack and he fell to the floor with him. Valerius lay on the floor, pinned by Kaizo. They were stuck in a blade lock.

Suddenly, Zivon pushed Kaizo away. Kaizo rolled through the floor. He quickly put up a stance.

Valerius hovers near the ship. He casts a spell and a barrier of magic appears on his hands. The barrier gets bigger and bigger, pushing away all his attackers until it covers the spaceship like a giant bubble.

Zivon focuses magic on his sword. He swings it towards the hangar's door. A big hole breaks on the door, big enough for a spaceship to pass. The Terran's spaceship begins to hover.

"Cannons! Open fire!" Maskmana ordered.

Rain of big artillery attacks aimed at the spaceship. But Valerius's magic barrier block it all. The spaceship goes through the hangar's door with Valerius and Zivon flying around it.

Maskmana watches the spaceship fly away as his men keep shooting at it.
