Bali's perspective
"Hey. You're finally awake." The elf said, making my brain go into automatic response mode. I've played skyrim only once. With Jack when I went to his place, after a really gruesome exam week. I thought back to the good old times with Jack. Eh. He's probably playing GTA to cope with me being gone. Anyway, because my brain went into automatic response, and the response was: "No I wasn't trying to cross the border. Wait what!?" I said as I realized what I was saying. The elf giggled a bit, then introduced herself. "My name is Lenna Oriven. Nice to meet you." She said sticking her hand out. I smiled and shook it while introducing myself. "My name is Bali Prime and the pleasure is mine." I said, but then I realized I still didn't have my shirt on. I facepalmed apologized and put my t-shirt on. Meanwhile I heard footsteps from the door. I turned to look at the newcomer. The newcomer was also a woman, who had long dark-brown hair and almond colored eyes. She was beautiful in my opinion. She took one look at me then smiled. "So you decided to wake up. My name is Kira Hitsu. First name Hitsu, last name Kira. What's your name?" She asked her eyes turning from happiness to curiosity. "My name's Bali Prime. First name Bali, last name Prime." I smiled. Hitsu smiled a bit, then her expression changed into that of curiosity again. "What happened to you? I saw you falling from the sky encased in a blue sphere. Then it exploded and made a crater with you in the middle of it. You were bleeding and unconscious so I brought you here." My smiled dropped as my previous life came into my mind. "It's fine you don't have to tell." Hitsu said sensing the change in my mood. I sighed and smiled again. "All you guys need to know that I'm from another world. Speaking of which do you guys have magic?" I asked trying to get more information about the world I found myself in. "We do have magic. Everyone can use it to some extent. The amount of it decides what's your class if you become an adventurer, which is basically a mercenary. I am actually a certified adventurer. However when there are no quests, we get regular jobs." "That sounds an awful lot like a certain anime I watched." I said with a half smile. "Come on! Let's see if you can use any magic! I have only physical re-reinforcement magic, which boosts my speed and strength. Lenna has also basic magic, the eagle eye. It allows her to see far away and aim her bow incredibly accurately." Hitsu excitedly explained while dragging me to the guild where they recruit new adventurers. Hitsu kicked open the door, startling everyone inside, but letting me get a good view of the guild. It looked like a pub with a counter at the end. I walked in and felt like everyone wanted to kill me. Behind the counter there was a man who had his hand on a crystal ball. He had a dark gray hair and beard, and next to him was a huge battleaxe. Despite the deadly weapon however he had a smile as he eyed us.
As Hitsu pushed me closer to the counter, he greeted us. "Greetings! Lady Lenna, lady Hitsu. How can I help you and who's that?" Hitsu smiled before speaking up, "Hi Milon! The new guys is Bali Prime, and we are here to gauge his magic and maybe sign him up as an adventurer." "Well step up then! We have the magicometer ready to use. Put your hand on the sphere, and just relax." Milon instructed and I did as I was told. As I touched the sphere it flashed pitch black before becoming pure white. Finally the sphere stopped reacting and I let out a breath I didn't even realize I was holding. "Was it supposed to do that?" I asked Milon, as he stared at me with shock on his face. "You… Have more magic power then the great eastern dragon!" I took a step back. I knew from their reactions that I had abnormal amount of magic. And according to Hitsu dragons are the creatures who hold the most magical power. And I have more power then one of the four major dragons. "Well, this was interesting. So will you become an adventurer kid?" Milo asked after regaining his composure. My answer was a small nod to which Milo gave a form. "Cut your finger and let a drop of blood hit the form. Then everything else should be pretty much done. The blood interacts with the magic on the paper and fills out all the necessary information." I again did as I was told to and soon I got a complete form. Meanwhile Lenna and Hitsu regained their composure and congratulated me.
After filling out the form, I got 10 gold coins, and after I took the bag of coins I thanked Milon and walked out the door. Lenna and Hitsu followed me as I walked out from the village and sat down on a rock. "What's wrong Bali?" Hitsu asked noticing that my mood turned once again from happy to sad. "Well I have magic, but no clue how to use it at all." I answered looking off to the sunset. "Oh that's all?" Lenna asked as she sat down next to me. I smiled and closed my eyes. "So how do I use magic?" I hummed in thought as Hitsu sat down on my other side.
"You can try to visualize the result of your spell. That's what beginner adventurers usually do. It works always." I nodded and looked at the sunset once more then stood up and tried to think of what I wanted from my spell. I closed my eyes and concentrated on a very familiar airplane: The F3F. This beauty of a fighter can put anything full of lead while maneuvering better then a freshly painted 109. This didn't mean anything to Lenna and Hitsu but that didn't matter. Yet. As I concentrated, I heard the girls yell in surprise. I opened my eyes and saw the fighter in front of me. It even had the 2 50lbs bombs under it's wings. I turned to look at Hitsu and Lenna who were looking astonished.
"What is that?" Hitsu was the first one to snap out of her astonishment. I turned back to look at Lenna who was still looking shocked. "Bali? What's that?" Hitsu asked again, and I looked at her with a big smile plastered across my face. "This is the F3F. A naval fighter designed to shoot down enemy planes above the sea. But this world doesn't have any planes probably, so I'm stuck with ground support if I ever go to war." I smiled. "Wait a second… Where will I stay?" I asked myself out loud because well I didn't have a place to sleep. "I have a spare room, so I'd be happy to let you stay as long as you need.
Ninety minutes later I was sitting at a table, eating dinner with Hitsu. Said dinner was fish and bread. Nothing too fancy but I wasn't complaining. This was more then what I had back in the old world. After the dinner I took a bath and changed into sleepwear that I created using magic. I also created a new set of clothes which consisted of a t-shirt which had an F6F hellcat on it, trousers, and a new pair of underwear.
Narrator's perspective
It has been another few hours since Bali has gone to sleep. Right now the only person awake in the house was Hitsu, who couldn't sleep even though she tried. Frustrated she walked into the living room where Bali was sleeping on the couch. As Hitsu walked past Bali she heard the brown haired boy sing while sleeping. "In may of 1941 the war has just begun, the Germans had the biggest ship, they had the biggest guns…"
