Wildlife in the grassland

"Then system, what about if I make my self into a better position while it's impossible for me to fight against the enemies from all directions, how about I use everything that available to me so I have a better chance to survive against my enemies?"

"Host, while I remind you that using traps to kill enemies isn't good. Doesn't mean that it didn't have its perk. Let's say that you are being chased by the enemies that outnumber you, Using the terrain to disturb, mislead, even kill them is also a good way for you to survive."

"Alright, I will try it." Seeing that the system seems to want him to try without anything inside the hunting ground, While Elliot having second thoughts about it but he decided to try it once.

"Right system last time I was inside the hunting ground there is a hyena corpse in my inventory. What can I do with it?"

"It could be given to me as points, or the system can help you to process it. Remember the last time you go inside and buying bait? "How many points can I get from the corpse?" Hearing the thing he kills could give him extra points if he collects them and give it to the system makes Elliot happy, thinking that he can save some point to buy the bait.

"Since the enemy is less than the creature that host world have right now, the point that host could get are only 1 point the same as what host will get when you kill it."

"Ugh so small?" Thinking how many points he needs to make the medicine baths and the food that he will need during his training makes him don't know what to say. he needs to kill 600 enemies so that he could have 7 days of effective training?

"Can I eat those animals that I hunt in the hunting space?" trying to find ways to cuts into his food cost he comes to think that maybe he could consume the animals that he hunts.

"You can, but the taste and the effect of eating them wouldn't be as good as food that the system provides."

"Well, its better than nothing I guess. Alright, can you help me to prepare the corpse into small cuts I will bring them to the hunting ground." Elliot starts to prepare himself for the fight that he will have inside the hunting ground. Without any weapon, Elliot got more and more jittery thinking of the fight that he going to have. Thinking that he has little point left he get a few pieces of hyena meat.

Going into the portal in the center of the white space, and feeling vertigo for a while after he got transferred to the hunting ground.

Landed in the grassland again this time, he was in the place near a water source. He could see many animal footprints on the edge of the water. Looking around there are no other animals near him right now.

Thinking that this place could be visited by other animals he starts to walk away from it. Slowly heading toward the west. After 1 hour of walking, he could see a few herds of deer, buffalo, and a group of zebra

"Thinking that if he walks around looking for enemies to fight will waste a lot of time, he decided to look for a group of animals and try to follow them from a distance while hiding himself.

After he locates some bison herd he starts following them from a distance. Sure enough, it doesn't take long before he could see a few Lions start to stalk them and followed by the hunting where they manage to snatch one of the bison from the herd. Feasting the bison meat thy lions doesn't realize that few uninvited guests start to closing into them, while there are 5 lions around. The guest that come have around 20 hyenas closing in from the east side.

Seeing so many hyenas closing into them, the lion groups start to become warry and try to scare them away. But after a while, those hyenas ignore them and keep getting closer to the fallen bison. As they already have some food to eat, the lion doesn't want to confront the hyena and leave the bison carcass for the hyena to finish.

Seeing the lion leaving the hyena start to feast with the leftover. While some got the buffalo, some didn't. Elliot starts to follow them around from a distance. but he realizes that the hyena still roaming the grassland looking for another kill. Seeing that in a while the night will come and he afraid that he will have a hard time following them.

He starts to smear the soil and some grass all over his body to mask his smell after he finishes covering his smell. he starts to come closer so that he didn't lose them at night.

When the night comes Elliot felt lucky that the moonlight shine bright enough for him keeping a long-distance that what he thinks he will need to not lose them. During the night he could see how the hyenas manage to find a herd of buffalo and start harassing the group, making the group of buffalo running around and get separated a few old buffalo being targeted by them to start getting farther and farther away from its herd.

From afar, the buffalo could be seen to walk away and some of them looking behind their old companion being killed, with nothing they could do they start to walk farther looking for a save space for tonight.

Seeing how it was in the grassland where the weak get killed, even when they are in a group. the weak will left behind to become the sacrifice for others to survive. Without realizing it Elliot starts to have the urge to become stronger.

While right now he stays in one of the cities with relative safety, Once in a while there will be news of beast attack somewhere in human settlements. Whether those places under attack could survive or not depend on how much preparation the city has, how many strong men there to defend from the beast attacks.

After the hunt, he could see the hyenas start to walk to where they come from. Thinking that they start going back to their den. Elliot becomes excited and keeps following them during the night and after the sun starts to rise he could see all the hunting hyenas start to going to rest, while some still being on the lookout every now and then.
