something about that old grandpa felt familiar like the feeling she had when she met the old lady who awarded her with an ancient box she then remembered that she had actually forgotten about the ancient box and had not opened it yet she resolved within herself to open it up to take a look at what was inside the box that night ...............

when she got to her house she quickly took a shower and wore her milk coloured night gown after which she went to her kitchen, opened up her refrigerator and took out a bowl of noodles which she microwaved and ate for dinner after which she washed her plates and went back upstairs to her room she opened the drawer next to her bedside where she kept her little lamp on top of it inside the drawer were accessories, few documents and the ancient golden box placed on top the documents, she took out the little box and opened it she was a bit disappointed at what she saw it wasn't what she expected, she expected a necklace, wristwatch or something more precious other than a transparent tiny bottle of greenish liquid which was inside the box, she lost interest in it and kept it on top her drawer close to her bed lamp she opened the second layer of her drawer where she kept her laptop and took it out she opened the laptop and started going through some work files in it she prepared the documents needed against tomorrow's meeting after few minutes she closed her laptop and kept it back inside her drawer where she normally kept it her eyes caught the transparent bottle while closing the drawer which made her briefly remember the story the old grandpa had told her in the taxi something felt fishy and weird she taught to herself as she decided to try googling the transparent bottle with her handset instead of her laptop because she already kept it in her drawer and was too lazy to open it again to retrieve her laptop.

she typied "ancient box" on her Google chrome but nothing that could relate to the one she was in possession of appeared she felt too sleepy to waste her time on that useless transparent bottle that she quickly gave up on googling it after the first trial she turned off her lights shortly afterwards she fell asleep.

while she slept the bottle glowed and sparkled at intervals but not bright even to wake her up from her beauty sleep.

The next morning at Millian's work place there was a board meeting to be held that morning and she was in charge of making a presentation which she prepared for last night and handled excellently well it was not her first time making a presentation at board meetings she was so good at it that every meeting held her boss Mrs. Sam would always entrust her with one or two presentation if necessary ......

the board meeting consisted of four cooperating companies who provided different but inter-related services to members of the public unfortunately for Millian her ex boyfriend's new girlfriend Merian was one of the members of this board meeting from a different company , Merian was the girl Michael her ex boyfriend cheated on her with Merian is tall, slim,fair and a bit prettier than Millian, Merian is more of an extrovert and dresses very fancy too Millian was completely sad and angry when she noticed Merians presence at the board meeting she felt like slapping the daylight out of her but had to hold back from doing so, while Millian stared at Merian she felt a bit inferior she avoided making eye contact with her and avoided any discussions with her after the board meeting.

after the meeting Millian walked straight to her desk trying her possible best not to think of Michael and her past with him to avoid tearing up in front of people at the office, Millian finished every papper work given to her early that day and couldn't wait for the time for closure of work to come.

It was finally time Millian walked for a while almost at the bus stop unfortunately she saw Michael and his new girlfriend Merian walking hand in hand happily heading to a restaurant few steps close to them it tore Millian's heart again like an old injury being injured again the sight of the two angered and sadden her it felt like the day he broke up with her she tried her possible best to hold back the drops of tears lingering on her eye crazy ideas crawled into her head like walking into that same restaurant they walked into and splashing water on their faces or better still food........
