Nova landed on the floor of the new area he teleported to.
「Oi, Nova! Who the hell was that?!」[Reischneid]
Reischneid's words caused Nova's head to pulsate.
『Haah...Haah… The Brown… I'm going to…』[Nova]
He raised his hand to his forehead, trembling.
『Blessed Flame Rebirth...!』[Nova]
His mind felt a sudden sense of clarity.
『...The Brown sealed my memories… I just unsealed them...』[Nova]
The pain in his head subsided, the seal on his memories finally broken.
「What?! What the hell was it?! That thing was freaking terrifying! I didn't even sense mana from that freak!」[Reischneid]
Nova's face pooled with sweat, but he ignored Reischneid.
「The Remnant… as well…! Are more of those going to leak through?!」[Nova]
「...Fortunately, you have some time.」[Asmodasiah]
「Why the hell are all these things popping up?!」[Reischneid]
Nova shook his head quickly, not knowing how to respond.
His eyes shot around the surroundings, getting a grasp for where he was.
「...What…?」[Nova]
The area around them was a desolate wasteland with broken buildings and debris.
「I'm sure I warped back to where we were before… So where is everything?」[Nova]
The destruction was far and wide, with the only buildings surviving a long distance away.
All of the people he teleported away laid on the ground, still unconscious.
Nova's eyes scanned the horizon, unsure of what to make of his surroundings.
「...What is going on...」[Nova]
Reischneid's voice shouted in his mind.
「NOVA! Look up at the sky, to your left!」[Reischneid]
He turned as Reischneid instructed, finding explosions in the sky, and a pale red platform moving around in the sky.
Upon further inspection, he saw Mariya floating off on the platform with several people.
「That must be the injured people…! I need to get up there somehow!」[Nova]
「I doubt you could land there safely with all these people being teleported with you.」[Reischneid]
Nova thought deeply on it for a moment.
「...Can you look after them?」[Nova]
Nova stuck Reischneid into the ground before pulling out a Stardrop from his ring.
「I can. Doubt you're in any danger if you go there, but watch out.」[Reischneid]
He popped it into his mouth and nodded.
Nova took a deep breath as he felt mana fill his body.
『Area.』[Nova]
He dropped into a dark hole that appeared under him.
Silently, Reischneid remained embedded into the ruins of the surroundings.

Nova appeared high in the sky, far above the ruins of where he was before.
『Area.』[Nova]
He fell into another hole, propelling himself a great deal closer to the platform.
He stared at the destruction from the sky, his thoughts manifesting as an audible question to himself.
『...This is… my home, right?』[Nova]

Some buildings remained, but many had been destroyed.
The destruction was random, and he had no way of knowing which was which.
『...I think… this entire district has been levelled… but how?』[Nova]
No sooner than he said that, a purple blast of lightning shot past him, creating a huge explosion in the sky.
『...W..What?!』[Nova]
He turned his head to face the source of the lightning.
His eyes were immediately seared with a big flash of light as he turned his head.
In a panic, he tried to use Area to continue getting closer to the platform.
『A-Area!』[Nova]
He fumbled his ability, the spell not casting correctly.
『This is.. Just like with the Brownlings from before?!』[Nova]
Once his eyes had recovered, he saw the ground getting rapidly closer.
『...Damn it!』[Nova]
An extra thick layer of mana crawled on top of his skin, shining a faint blue.
『WAVE!』[Nova]
He weaved a higher than usual amount of mana into the circle, causing it to not instantly break when he landed on it.
...But his mana shield broke, from the foot all the way to every other part of his body.
『Ngh...RA..RAAAAAGH?!』[Nova]
He felt his ankle get sprained the moment he did this.
...Then the Wave broke and shot a huge amount of force into his body, launching him up even further, with blood flying from his broken leg.
The huge amount of pain rushing through his body made him want to faint, his leg now broken along with his ankle.
The wind brushed his face, and he stared up at the platform.
『Wave!』[Nova]
At this point, he was just shy of reaching it, but…
The spell didn't form.
「What...?! ...The mana in my body is unstable…?! What's going on…?!」[Nova]
He suddenly noticed that his leg was broken in a horrible way that caused blood to fly into the wind.
「Blood?! My mana is flowing out! I can't cast my spells anymore?!」[Nova]
He thought quickly and knew that he didn't have much longer- definitely not long enough to save himself from falling.
『Raimen-!』[Nova]
A wave of pain rushed through his body, once more.
「My body… isn't recovered from using my Raiment?!」[Nova]
Though he did feel exhaustion from using his Raiment frequently, he hadn't noticed it at all.
『...No… way..』[Nova]
He started to fall, facing the platform in the sky.
「Was I… really so delicate? All that I've fought… and I'm going to… die to a single flash of light?」[Nova]
He kept falling, his head now facing straight down.
「No… I… don't want to die like this!」[Nova]
He bit his lip, not even noticing the pain in his body anymore, as tears fell along with him.
He shouted into the wind, with all his might.
『PLEASE! SOMEONE SAVE ME!』[Nova]
