A week has passed since that terrible night. Sebastian was depressed. All day and night he spend listening to Morgan Wallen on repeat. He couldn't understand how much pain he was in. Lexy has tried to reach him but he couldn't talk wouldn't! His heart is broken. Pain like he never felt before was consuming him. The kiss he witnessed between his best friend and the love of his life was tormenting his dreams. He couldn't eat, sleep. A day felt like a year. A minute like a month. How did he find himself in this mess, he couldn't understand. His room was messy and he hasn't shower or brushed his teeth in days. He hadn't gone to class, to practice. No, instead he was there, lying in his bed losing himself in alcohol and music. Chest pains every second, ever memory. Where had he gone wrong. He hadn't been brave. He was painfully aware of this. Pain. Pain pain. That's all he felt since that night. He couldn't find peace in himself. All he wanted was to drink. Cry. And repeat. What was this life. Somehow it had no meaning anymore.
"It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all!" Only a fool could believe this lies. The tears wouldn't stop. He felt hopeless. Unloved. Unwanted. The hours passed, and passed. He knew nothing but logging in his heart. Longing for Bri. For the love he lost before he had the chance to enjoy. To have. To share. Guilt. Guilt for the girl he hurt. Sadness. It was unbelievable.
The music continues. Merry me by Thomas Rhett. Every word explains his current predicament. He lost the love of his friend who he wanted to Marry without knowing it.
I'll make it through without crying, yeah she wants to get married but she won't marry me.
The broken heated boy sang the song as tears purred out. He takes the bottle of whiskey and drinks it straight. "He won't merry me, he won't merry me."
On his knees, he puts down the bottle, bows and prayed as he cries.
"God, what is this pain? Please take it away. I can't breat… i- i I can't eat, I can barely breathe. I know it's all my fault but please Jesus ease my pain. It's too much. I feel like my chest is on fire. Lord help me." The tears
Keep falling intertwined with the music. His heard was taking his life away. His perfect hair was a mess. He has been wearing the same sweater, same sweats for a week now. He smells like a garbage bin. He couldn't even smell it at this point. All he could think about was music, alcohol and Brian. Again and again. The torment wasn't going away. An hour later, the alcohol did his job, and he passed out on the floor of his room, next to his bed.
Lexy could hear the music from her room. Her brother hadn't stop replying the same country songs since that night. He was tormenting the entire family with his heartbreak. Pain demands to be felt! Yes, but this was crazy, too much. Her mom and dad didn't know about Bri. They've assumed he was this broken hearted over his breakup with Emma. They were wrong! They decided to leave him to grieve by himself. But Lexy couldn't take it anymore. The music was depressing her too. She tried many times to get him to talk, nothing! He won't come out of his room. He won't eat. He hasn't showered. Enough was Enough!
The beauty walks to her brother's room and forces the door open. How, a mystery. She was a witch after all! The first thing that welcomed her was the smell. "Oh God!" It was horrific! The room was a mess. Her brother was on the floor. Battle in hand. The tv was on. Playing music still. Country was her jam but not anymore! Her brother had made it so!
She finds her way to the boy.
"Bash, Bash wake-up demit! Wake up!"
No response.
"I swear! If you don't wake up I'm putting water all over this mess!"
No response. He didn't even move.
Fin!
A minute later, bucket in hand she keeps her promise!
The cold water hits Sebastian like a two by four.
"Ahhh, what the fuck! Jesus! Fuck!
Are you insane!?"
He burst upward. If looks could kill.
"Why the fuck would you do that?"
"Because you wouldn't wake up!
I don't care you're all heartbroken. This has to stop. You've been drinking, tormenting is with music and cooked up in here for a week. We're done! I'm done!"
"So this is what we're going to do. You're going to take a shower. You stink. Than clean this mess of a room. And we're going out! I'm dying and I'm not as self destructive as you! Brian's amazing, but he's just a guy! Stop this madness!
He didn't even know what to say. His sister was hard not to obey. Even more than his mom or dad. Without a word, like a little kid he nodded his head, and did exactly as demanded.
Two hours later. Both siblings looked like movie stars.
Lexy drove, no music plays in the car. She was done! Ironically she drives to a Karaoke bar.
"Are you serious? Why here."
"Because you have to let it out. So, all those songs; I'm sure you know by now. You're singing. Than we're never hearing them again. Ever! It's time to move on!"
They walk inside, everyone has to do a double take. This couple was perfection. The girl specially. She was a Greek Godess.
The hostes welcomed them. She blushed when she looks at Sebastian. He was dreamy. Than she walks them to their table personally.
With a smile, she gives them a menu for both songs and meals. "Drinks at the bar." She says and walks away.
"I don't know if this is a good idea. I don't even know how to sing!
Who cares. We're here for you to feel better not to put up a concert!"
Unexpectedly, Pete comes out from the bathroom and sees them. He was shocked.
He takes a breath and walks to them. "Fancy seeing you here? Came to sing?"
Lexy was too surprised. This could only mean one thing…
Sebastian was fixed. His eyes locked with Bri. He had shots in hand; looking
breathtaking. His white hair covering his eyes. Like always.
This night was just beginning and it was already a disaster!
