Warning

The food was delivered. Tylem's mouth watered, and Kaden grinned when he saw this. This amazing person had a human side as well. Like him, he also enjoyed delicious food.

Tylem was not reserved as he began digging in.

"Gulp."

Taking the first bite, Tylem couldn't resist the urge to smile. The meat was so tender that it had melted upon hitting his tongue. It was almost intoxicating.

In this vast world, compared to the complex hearts of people, food was much simpler. Mysteriously enough, delicious food was able to calm the mind, bringing about genuine happiness.

The large plate of food was quickly disappearing. Tylem slowed down, thinking, "In the future, I'll bring Mother, Father, and Sister to the most delicious restaurant in the world."

"No—the best restaurant in the entire universe."

Tylem kept his head down with a light smile, focusing on the food and drink. The youth was oblivious to the fact that this was the first time he had called Emily and Weston as Mother and Father.

"Ahh… this is amazing. I'm stuffed." Kaden devoured the food even quicker than Tylem, wiping his sauced face with a wet napkin.

Elsewhere, the two boys were unaware that their carnivorous, inelegant actions were being watched.

In a nearby seat of three, a good-looking boy with ashen hair snickered, "Seriously, watching that pig eat is making me sick."

"Yeah, Arian. It's making me lose appetite." Martin, a robust boy with deep-set eyes, replied.

"Who's that dude next to him though?" Arian asked, curious. "He's not that bad."

"I don't know, and I couldn't care less." Martin shrugged his shoulders. Trash hung around other trash. That was a common fact.

In the seat of three, the other boy, who possessed a graceful aura, remained silent, fiddling with his phone instead without any intention to join the meaningless gossip.

If Kaden had heard the insults, he would have said one word to them, "Pretentious."

"Come on, boys. How about we go and teach Kaden a lesson?" Standing up, Martin grinned. "I'm tired of him acting like a know-it-all. It's like he's some kind of news reporter."

"Yeah, let's put that pig in his place." Arian agreed, placing his hand on the beautiful blonde-haired boy who was still fiddling with his phone. "Loki, you in?"

"If you're so obsessed, do it yourself then." Loki coldly pushed Arian's hand away, sneering, "Don't drag me into your mess."

"All right, sheesh. You need to learn to let loose once in a while." Arian complained, and he was about to continue his nagging until he saw the sinister look in Loki's eyes.

This stopped Arian cold in his tracks. The three of them were in the same class, but their friendship was not that of equals. Loki was a member of the famous Onel society.

This meant that Arian had to watch his mouth around this 'friend' of his.

However, what kind of friendship was that?

It sounded more like a partnership where Loki was Arian's employer.

"Fine. Let's go, Martin." Clenching his fist, Arian stood up. It wasn't like he had invited Loki for his fighting prowess. Rather, it was all because of Onel, the behemoth that stood behind him.

Arian wished to join this famous group that guaranteed status; otherwise, he wouldn't have even associated himself with such a boring pretty boy like Loki. In Ivla, both Martin and he were great basketball athletes who the teachers and female students all adored.

Nonetheless, all of that was meaningless in front of Onel. With one word from them, their false sense of superiority would come crashing down in an instant.

Loki, for example, was nothing but an average member of Onel. However, his status in the capital was high in the skies. He was the sole son of Beijing's renowned Chief of Police.

"Hell yeah." Martin nodded, cracking his knuckles.

Tylem and Kaden were both still polishing off their plates when the two of them were interrupted. The male voice harsh and mocking.

"It's like this pig hasn't eaten in days." Martin snorted, picking up the half-finished mango bubble tea from the table.

"The entire school is tired of your shit, Kaden." The mango bubble tea was nearing Kaden's straight hair until a firm grip froze the robust basketball athlete's right hand cold in its place.

"What were you trying to do?" Tylem tightened the grip, which made Martin drop to his knees while wailing.

"Martin?" Kaden was confused. The fuck, he hadn't seen this basketball athlete in weeks. Were the heavens against him? Otherwise, how would he have drawn so much trouble in a single day.

Funnily enough, cultivators were creatures who went against the heavens itself, and the friend next to him was one of these few people.

The loud wailing and disturbance drew the attention of over twenty students. The cafeteria had multiple floors, however. Furthermore, the room was gigantic, so most of this went unnoticed.

"Shit, get your hand off him!" Initially, Arian thought that Martin was playing around, but he soon saw the popping veins all over his red face.

"Not until I get an answer," Tylem responded, his grip tightening even more. This caused Martin's frantic eyes to fill with tears.

The hot tears were from both pain and embarrassment. Martin was conscious of the numerous prying eyes of the students around them.

"You bastard!" Arian realized the situation was getting out of hand, and he sent a fierce punch straight toward Tylem's cheek.

In the beginning, Arian had not planned to fight at all; instead, he just wanted to harass the chubby student a bit.

If Arian and Martin knew that it was going to be so troublesome, the two would have minded their own business today.

"Hmph." Kaden was no slouch either, and he blocked Arian's fist for Tylem.

"You fucking pig." Arian was embarrassed. The mysterious student blocking him would have been one thing, but this pig dared to fight back?

Hiding the streak of red, Arian no longer held back. With all his might, he delivered a spinning back kick toward Kaden's face.

Hailing from a family of Olympians, Arian's kick was no joke. For a fight between seventh graders, it was dangerous.

However, Tylem was too fast. Pushing Kaden out of harm's way, he, himself, agilely leaned back.

"What?" Arian was shocked to see his kick cutting through thin air.

[This world is so damned.]

Trouble would find its way to his doorstep no matter what.

Tylem's expression was merciless, a cold light flashing through his iris.

"Bro!"

In the blink of an eye, Tylem's fist was a mere inch, no—a hair's breadth, from Arian's face before he stopped.

If it wasn't for Kaden's panicked shout, the ashen-haired boy thought that he would definitely have a few shattered facial bones, and most certainly a painful trip to the hospital.

Collapsed on the floor, Arian shivered in fear.

"Bro, let's just stop here. You don't need to lower yourself for trash like this." Picking up his bag, Kaden sighed. If Tylem got in more trouble because of him, he wouldn't be able to lift his face in front of his bro anymore.

"Mn." In truth, Tylem wouldn't have done serious damage regardless of Kaden's call. It was a severe warning, which was designed to leave a lasting impression on them.

Until his status was great enough, he would not act recklessly. However, he would never forget the people who wronged him when he was weak.

One day, for all serious matters, he would seek revenge.
