The bastard! how am I going to survive! part 3

They all looked at Set with shock and a little bit of fear. They had seen his head getting lopped off, but now he was acting all fine as if nothing had happened. Set dashed towards the three. He raised his sword and slashed. As he did a wave of blood-red fire was released from the sword. Seeing this the three were shocked ever more as the power he used now was far greater than what he was fighting with before. Sugiyama Kaori Went in front of Light in a defensive position because she mainly focused on support and her physical status was mediocre. Amano Ena jumped in front of them and she activated her innate abilities. Before the wave of fire reached them it was stopped by an invisible barrier.

The barrier immediately formed cracks. And before Amano Ena could reinforce it, it had already shattered to bits and pieces. She coughed up blood that stained her angelic armor. Her face was pale. Set held his sword to her neck and then he smiled. That smile looked kind but to the three, it was as if they were looking at the smile of the devil himself. The hearts of all three fell.

That was the smile of the devil. Set looked at the others and said "I will let you live if and only if you give me all your belongings". The group of three was angry. Especially Sugiyama Kaori. He was from a well-respected family, they even had two supreme deities in their ranks. But this crimson man didn't give two shits about that. He even dared to ask for their belongings! This man must be courting death. This was a feeling shared between all three party members. Amano Ena was also from a major power. Her family didn't have any supreme deities but they did have many lower deities, which was only one rank lower than supreme deities. Even Light had a pretty hefty background.

She was from the Jun family. They also didn't have and Supreme deities but had a bunch of lower deities.

Sugiyama Kaori was inraged. He lifted his axe and the same red power appeared around his body. He marched up towards Amano Ena and pulled her back.

"This is where you die!"

He then swung his axe towards Set with all his might. Set also swung his sword but what happened next was something they never expected. Sugiyama Kaori's axe was sliced in two.

The blade was gone and only the handle was left, tightly held by Sugiyama Kaori. After a few seconds of being air-born the blade fell to the ground and turned to red smoke that dispersed into the air. The same thing happened to the handle. Sugiyama Kaori was scared shitless. He grabbed his chest in pain and coughed up a mouth full of blood, his face was pale.

His celestial equipment was destroyed. It would take more or less a year to reform it, the damage done to his internal organs was also severe. But that wasn't the thing that scared him, No, what scared him was that if Set wanted to kill him he would have died then and there. Set stuck the sword in the ground and crossed his arms. "I don't like repeating myself, but for you guys, I will make an exception. Give me all you've got or die". They all looked fearful. Amano Ena out of concern asked, "Will you let us go if we give you all we have?".

"Of course, for what reason do I have to lie?. The three hearing this all had wry smiles. They did just try to kill the guy and take his stuff but due to the turntables, they were now being robbed. This must be mercy! He must be showing them mercy, right?

Now they didn't dare make the man wait. They brought out their wrist badges and emptied out their storage space. After painfully giving up their belongings, the three turned around to leave. But before they left, Set stopped them by saying, "Where do you think you are going?"

They were Shocked, they had given him all they had so why was he asking them this. Sugiyama Kaori angrily asked, "What do you want?! We gave you all we had are you going to go back on your word?!"

"You didn't give me all you had". After Set said that they were all confused. But after a while, they all caught on. They didn't want to believe what he was saying. "What more do you want?!" Asked Sugiyama Kaori. "I want yours and little blondie's armor". Sugiyama Kaori was infuriated, but because he was far weaker than his opponent he didn't... correction, he couldn't do a single thing about it.

"Brother, why don't I go back to my abode and bring you a Saint-class armor?" said Sugiyama Kaori. Set hearing this was surprised, why would this man want to trade a Demon-class armor for a Saint-class one? A theory was beginning to form inside Set's mind, and he couldn't help but laugh out loud. The three were surprised and confused. But what Set said next made Amano Ena and Light's eyes watery with tears.

"Oooh, I see. But I have to ask, is your little brother really that small? I mean how small must it be for you to trade a Demon-class armor for a Saint-class one?". Hearing Set Amano Ena and Light had used all their willpower to suppress their laughter, but it didn't stop their faces from getting red and their eyes watery.

Sugiyama Kaori was about to lose his mind looking at the watery eyes of his two companions, "It's not, I assure you! It's just that I really like this armor". But Set wasn't buying this bullshit. So with a comforting tone, he said, "Brother don't be ashamed, it does not matter if your little brother is small. Even though you won't be able to satisfy the poor woman you are in bed with, you could always pay some other person to fulfill her womanly desires. And don't even sweat going out to search for suitable men, because I am available. And because I feel sorry for you the first round with your woman is free!"

The girls couldn't hold back the laughter anymore. They laughed so hard that they had no energy to support their legs, which consequently made them fall to the ground holding their small bellies while tears fell from their eyes. Sugiyama Kaori was pale as he looked at the girls. His biggest secret had been revealed for the two to see. He himself was also about to cry. But unlike their tears of laughter, his were tears of agony and embarrassment! What Set had said was true to the last letter. He was never able to satisfy his woman in bed. He even went out to find suitable men to do what he couldn't, fearing his woman would leave him.

"Do you agree?" asked Sugiyama Kaori. Set looked straight into Sugiyama Kaori's eyes and asked."What if you don't fulfill your end of the bargain?" but before Sugiyama Kaori could answer Set went on to say, "Oh I know. if you don't fulfill your end of the bargain, then I will tell all of the Shelter that you have a small... You know where I'm going with this right? Bring the armor here tomorrow morning". Sugiyama Kaori was on the verge of crying, he nodded his head and quickly ran out of the cave. The girls were still lying on the ground crying. But they were quickly stopped by Set.

"Blondie, would you also want to conduct a trade?" Asked Set. Light quickly nodded her head. But then said, "I'm sorry but I don't have Saint-class armor but I do have a Saint-class lance, would you accept?". Set looked at Light for a few seconds and then nodded his head prompting her to run out of the cave. Finally Set looked at Amano Ena and pulled out his hand. Amano Ena already expected this, so she went and gave Set her Crystal sword. She glanced at him for a second and ran out of the cave.

"Thank God this is over. System shows me my stats".
