Rage's Hideout

After about two days of sleep, Set woke up bright and early in the morning with a single goal.

*GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR *

"I'm so hungry!" he rolled out of bed like an animal that was awakened from a deep and long slumber. And straight up dashed to the kitchen, downstairs. Luckily, his dear mother was making breakfast. But seeing Set's traumatizing face and his stomach roaring loudly, she had to make some more. While Set woke up early, he didn't start eating until all the family members were up and ready for breakfast. When his plate was placed in front of him, he didn't spend any time before devouring his meal and asking for seconds.

After he ate more than four plates, he felt his stomach ring from overstuffing and stopped his 'Eat as much as you can' game. He looked down and tried to talk some sense into his belly, but what he saw was a seven-month-long, very pregnant belly. Seeing Set ate four plates in less than half an hour, his family was shocked. Of course, they weren't worried because they knew Set was a weird kid.

Set got up from the chair with immense difficulty because of his pregnant belly. After breakfast, he went up to his room and started playing video games before his stomach could calm down. And that was exactly what it did... six hours later! Yes, six hours. Although his stomach had returned to normal in the second hour, Set was too focused on the game to notice any discomfort.

After reaching a level that he couldn't pass, he stopped and got dressed up in his casual clothes. He walked out of the house and started walking around the area, trying to remember his goal. After a while, he remembered it, but he had an even better idea.

"Rage's hiding place must have a lot of valuables, and because he's gone, I'm going to take on the heavy task of taking care of the precious!" said Set with a determined face.

After walking for an hour, he reached the alley where he and Rage fought. Set saw the place feel a little odd as he nearly died here. After he settled his emotions, he pushed the manhole cover and slowly jumped into the dark sewers.

As he landed, some shitty water splashed on his clothing, making him squeal in anger. Although he had two directions to choose from, he chose to go forward.

But that seemed to be the wrong move, as he had been walking for an hour, and still, he had to find a single thing, except those damned sewer rats. But, luckily, life was life no matter how small and insignificant it was, as he killed a rat and gained a blood point. And let's just say, there was a shit ton of rats in the sewer.

After walking for another hour, Set proved his early theory... he was lost. Oh, uh... Wait a minute, I forgot he was a genius. He had already memorized all of his turns, and could easily retrace his steps. Pays to be a genius.

As he traced back his steps and returned to his origin, he began to walk in the opposite direction to the direction he had originally chosen. And within five minutes, he found Rage's hiding spot. Although he had found a hiding place for Rages, Rage was a cautious man. As he had created a panic room where he had stored all his valuables. The door to the room was made of some kind of metal, stronger than steel, and probably reinforced with beast cores, and without a passcode, it was nigh impossible for a Demon hunter like Set to pass through by force.

While the door was impenetrable, the walls around it were not... Well, that's what Set was thinking before his idea was shut down, trying to burn through the concrete wall. It seemed that Rage did something to the walls, too, to make them stronger than steel as well.

But of course, these obstacles were mere pebbles in front of the genius mine of Set's. "System hack this door and let me through!" Yes , I know I said they were mere pebbles in front of a genius like Set, but why would he make the effort while he could pay the system for its help?

And thanks to that, it didn't take a minute to hack the security system and get into the locked room. He looked around, but it was too dark to see anything, even for his perception. Set from his right-hand light fire to light up the room, but it came to an end when he noticed a light switch nearby. Set went and flicked the switch, but was shocked when the lights were lit. The room was quite huge, and it wasn't even a single room, there were several rooms.

The first was a sleeping quarter and a bathroom, while the second was a kitchen and a living room, the third was a training ground which was larger than all the rooms combined! And finally, the last one was the storage unit.

There was a generator and a backup generator, there were 20 bottles of food pills. It was probably robbed, but who would give fuck? Set, store all food pills in the system inventory. He went to the storage unit, and he was shocked! Inside, there were beast cores up on beast cores, with only a light count, Set counted more than two thousand! Yes, two thousand of them! And that was just a count of light!

Set was over the moon with dilight. After some reasoning, he thought to himself, "Rage, I promise to use it with respect and dignity. I will make you proud!"

But before anything else, he had to check the place thourghly. He walked into every room and found a few more things, but the one thing that caught his interest was a small flag. The flag was red in color and had a black leafless tree in the centre, a full moon in the back.

Set seeing this, for some reason, was deeply uncomfortable. It was as if the flag was calling out to him like a monster waiting for his prey.

"This is too suspicious I'm will investigate it when I get stronger and have time!"

But his mood was only getting better and better until the climax was finally reached when he found a cloak. The cloak was pitch black, one nd a half meter long.

[Space cloak gained]

[Space cloak: ability to totally erase the presence of the individual and immunity from the six senses.]

Set was wondering how Rage managed to collect all those beast cores, and now he had his answer. With this cloak, he could sneak into the celestial plane without being noticed.Set quickly equipped the cloak, and with his Crimson Curse, he looked like a bonified villain! A cool looking villain at that.

Putting that aside, he decided the best thing now was to absorb all the beast cores to increase his strength before he made his way to the Death Valley. I mean, the place had DEATH in the name! If you think he was going there without getting stronger then you are BAT SHIT CRAZY!!!
