New World, New Me.

After a little while of absolute nothing, Adiren's senses came back to him. he could feel his heat, breathing and grass. on his skin.

he then slowly opened his eyes to see a clear, blue, and most importantly, REGULAR sky.

After laying there for a bit trying to collect himself he finally stood up.

'Woah!... That was surprisingly easy!' he thought as he usually struggled with even just that much.

Slowly, carefully, he stood, for the first time, on his own two feet by his own power.

And when he finally stood upright... he couldn't believe it.

he could feel tears building up on his eyes before he wiped them away and disbelievingly pinched his arm. Yep, that's pain alright. Yes, this is real.

'Holy shit. this is real! I'm not dreaming...' was all he could think at that moment.

he the started to walk. It was surprisingly easy and natural for him. he did not stumble nor did he trip. he walked, and he walked more, and further. Then he started going faster, and faster! Not long after the man was full blown sprinting!

"THIS IS AMAZIIIIIIINNNNGG!!!" he shouted at the top of his lungs in excitement, and BOY was that loud! His voice could never peak like that before.

He was running, and he was running fast! It seemed exhilarating. he felt like he could freaking FLY!

After what must have been like 15 minutes of full on sprinting, and not even seeming the least bit tired, which was also crazy, he got some great stamina it seems. he finally slowed to a complete stop.

After he had completely collected himself again, he started to survey the surroundings.

'Okay. Let's see where we're at.' he then started turning, marveling at the ease he could see the landscape around him.

"Even my eyes have been fixed too." In his previous world, he had a weak 20/150 vision. But now he could see well into the horizon and make out even the smallest detail, and the world seemed more vibrant somehow.

"Let's see... I am standing on a hill surrounded by massive plains with occasional gently rolling hills, I can just about make out a mountain range in the distance. There are a lot of forest around here too, and... is that a jungle in the distance, there's a bamboo forest too. And over there is a pretty big river and... cane? Really? This can't be right." he thought in disbelief at the sheer variety in the biomes around. "And holy crap is that a wheat field?!"

'What is this? MInecraft or something?'

'Well. At least I'm set for the near and distant future in terms of resources.'

he then went towards the nearby river, which seemed to be calm enough that he could probably see his reflection, and was surprised at what he saw.

"... I'm a kid." yep. "... I'm a kid again." That's right. he somehow didn't notice this in all his excitement.

Staring right back at him was his younger self. Though instead of looking scrawny, he looked like a very healthy kid. Plenty of mass, but not too much. His complexion still pale, but no longer a chalky white, but instead a nice fair skin tone. His hair which had turned to dull gray early in life, is now a cool, platinum blonde, and very shiny. And his eyes, which were always a foggy and unfocused lilac color, were now vibrant, sharp, and just screamed visual acuity, and still lilac.

His clothes were also changed, thank Orphus, and he was no longer in a hospital gown, but instead a clean, long-sleeved matte black tunic with blue strips at the seams that reached to his hips, but tucked in a pair of black pants, held up by a red leather belt with a square shaped silver plated buckle. he had on his feet a cozy pair of sturdy light brown leather boots with black cotton laces and a steel toe cap. And upon further inspection he found some warm woolen, gray coloured socks, and a very comfy but suspiciously modern pair of boxers underwear.

'Well, that's a thing, wonder how this would affect my new condition.'

He then noticed something in his pants pocket, which he pulled out revealing a folded letter.
