Walther's Plan

Katie was playing bricks with the red-haired boy. Patiently and with great care, Katie picked up one block from below without knocking another block above it.

It was the boy's turn to take it, but cheekily the boy changed hands.

"Hey, you can't change hands. You're cheating."

"Not cheating, right? I haven't drawn the block yet. So it can't be called cheating."

Katie snorted, yet accepted the plausible excuse and only watched the boy's careful movements to take the bottom beam.

If the child is successful, the stacking blocks will certainly fall when her turn comes, considering that now only one block is below, which supports the irregular arrangement of beams.

Suddenly a naughty idea crossed her mind.

"AAAHH, THERE'S A CRICKET ON YOUR FEET!" shrieked Katie loudly, causing the boy to scream hysterically.
