Behind closed doors

Jakes said "I just buried my father, you seriously want me to deal with your insecurities right now."

Laura said" I just want us to know if it's your child, don't you want to know."

Jakes said "if it was my child I would know, she would be here living under this room and me making sure the baby is well."

Laura said "living where jakes and you would just make that decision without talking to me."

Jakes said "there's no decision to make it's not my baby, if it was mine she would want money and all this for her child."

Laura said "I can't believe you still think like that."

Jakes said "Think like what and this is about you not me."

Laura said" how this has to do with me jakes, you having a child out there."

Jakes said "You think I have forgot you telling me you don't want to be with someone who has a child with someone else."

Laura said" you are denying that the child is yours and what is the point of having this conversation."

Jakes said "To know where we stand if it is my child and would you leave me because of these stupid rules you live by not willing to compromise."

Laura said "don't talk to me like that jakes I live my life according to God's word now."

Jakes said "just answer my question will we be done if that's my child Laura."

Laura said "I love you but I need to pray and think on this."

Jakes said "I think I got my answer we are supposed to be a team no matter what."

Laura said "What answer is that jakes?"

Jakes said "You are leaving me."

Laura said "I am not leaving you, just need to think how we are going to handle this and raising someone else child that's what I want to think about."

Jakes said "Fine, I am guessing all this was not in your plans."

Laura said "there is a child out there we need to know and forget about my plans for a minute. Fix this jakes."

Jakes said " or what darling you will leave me and I should always jump do what you want me to do."

Laura said "I am being supportive here but you are busy attacking me with how I was. Just get over yourself and good thing we are not married yet I don't have to share a bed with annoying human being right now."

Jakes said "how things are we won't share one ever."

Laura said "Good night idiot still love you."

Jakes said "Goodnight."

Out in the public, their community they were the perfect couple, inspiring they were young in love and preaching the word of God. Behind closed doors, it was hard to be this perfect couple and it was time they face reality. Stop fighting with each other and stop pretending to have it all under control.

They meet with Eric who was now youth pastor.

Eric said "feel free to say what is in your heart."

Laura said "he doesn't respect me, my opinion does not matter to him."

Jakes said "she is talking about something which is not an issue here."

Eric said "what do you think is the issue jakes?"

Jakes said "her not trusting me, my ex is pregnant and she thinks I'm the father."

Laura said "she is heavily pregnant and the calculations does indicate he can be the father, I don't have issue with that."

Jakes said "really?"

Laura said "will love the baby as ours, the issue here is you deciding alone what to do without involving me I thought we got pass this."

Jakes said "old habits die hard, kidding you just like rehashing things nothing changes."

Laura said "you see what I have to deal with here."

Jakes said "you smiling in public like everything is great."

Laura said "you would prefer I told everyone that my fiancé is a jerk to your friends, mine and our church members."

Jakes said" it will better than pretending we are perfect."

Laura said" everything is about you jakes and how do you think I really feel knowing you want kids and someone out there will give you that before I do."

Jakes said" I am sorry, I didn't think what you're going through I am dealing with my father's death just too much."

Laura said "you think I don't know that it's hard you're just making excuses, I am there for you but I won't keep taking this from you."

Jakes said "let me deal with my father's death then will handle Emily Clarkson situation."

Laura said" you are really not listening to me I want you to deal with this now and why are we here jakes my brother is busy man also just wasting his and my time."

Jakes said" Eric, this is not helping."

Well Eric had his work can't out for him.

Jakes got a call from his ex the one Laura said is pregnant

Emily said "I need to see you tomorrow I may go in labour any day now

Jakes said "send me the details and I will be there."

Laura said "babe, I will need you to look at my business proposal, you will be blown away you and I need to get the ball running."

Jakes said "I will look at it for now just need you to pray with me."

They prayed and Jakes feared Laura was right and what would this means for their relationship. They both went to see Jakes ex Emily
