What Do You Mean?

When Yifeng walked into the restaurant they saw there client Ling Zhao he was waiting they walked to the table and sat infront of him. "Hello Mr.Ling this is my assistant Ms.Huang she will joining our meeting today." Ling Zhao got up and shook Lana's hand "It's nice to meet you Ms.Huang."

Lana smiled, "It's nice to meet you too Mr.Ling." Yifeng looked at Mr.Ling and saw he was looking at Lana. Yifeng let out a cough, "Let's get on with the meeting."

Throughout the whole meeting Yifeng noticed how Mr.Ling was looking at Lana and how he was looking at her slender legs. Yifeng was boiling in angry he didn't want anyone looking at his woman except for him. He wanted to lock her away from the world so he can have her to himself.

"Thank you for your time Mr.Ling I plan to meet with you again with more progress." Yifeng and Lana left out the restaurant and got back in the car.

"Make sure that we never meet Mr.Ling and take him off as one of our investors. Tell him I'll compensate him for the money loss." Lana was so confused because during the meeting she thought that everything was fine, "If I may ask why are we not going to be doing business with Mr.Ling?"

"Because he was looking at something that's mine." Yifeng gave Lana a small grin. 'Something that's his? What is his?'

"Mr.Lu if I could know what is that something that's yours?"

"You." Yifeng looked at her directly not showing any shame. "I'm sorry Mr.Lu but I'm no one's. I used to be someone's but- never mind let's not talk about personal stuff. Let's just focus on work." Lana faced out the window so Yifeng wouldn't see any tears that were building up in her eyes.

Yifeng and Lana then went back to the office. When they got there it was almost time for lunch. Lana went into her office to get here lunch, but then she realized she left it at home. 'I guess I have to eat cafeteria food today. I hope they have something good.' Lana got up so she could go to the cafeteria for lunch. She went down the elevator and went to the cafeteria. When she walked i she got her tray and sat at an empty table. She was enjoying her lunch when a man walked towards her and sat at her table. "Hi I'm Hao Zheng, I noticed that you are new so I thought it would be nice if I talk to you." Zheng smiled at Lana he was a cute young man 5'9. "Sure I'm Huang Lana."

"Oh your the CEO's new assistant. You must be very happy." Lana looked down not making eye contact with Zheng, "I'm not that happy. It's just a job."

Zheng looked at her confused because who wouldn't want to work with there CEO. "Oh well I came here to personally invite you to a party for my birthday."

"Oh when is the party. I just want to know when I have to clear my schedule." Zheng smiled at Lana, "It's today at 8. Give me your number and I'll send you the details." Zheng was so happy that he was talking to Lana he thought that she was a very beautiful person, he thought they were perfect for each other from there small conversation. They exchanged information and had some small talk. After Lana finished her lunch she went back to her office to get back to her work.

After some hours of work Lana looked at the time and saw it was time for her to leave so she got her bag and walked out her office. She was thinking if she should Yifeng she was heading out for the night or not. She decided that as his assistant she should because it was the formal thing to do. Lana knocked on Yifengs office door, "Come in." Lana walked in the room and put her worked that she finished on his desk. "This is the documents you told me to look over today. I've finished everything you ask Mr.Lu so I'll leave first." Lana turned around to walk out of Yifengs office. "Why do you call me that?"

Lana turned around to face him, "What do you mean Mr.Lu it would be informal to not call you that. Especially at work and it's not like we know each other that well to call each other by our first names. So if you excuse I have somewhere to be." Lana turned and walked out of the office.

When she got back to her apartment she took a hot shower then put on a black sleeveless dress that was above the knee. It hugged her curves in all the right places. She put her long black hair into a high ponytail and put on some black heels.

After Lana finished getting dressed she did a few touch ups then she walked out of her apartment building and hailed a cab to the bar. When she got to the bar she texted Zheng letting him know that she arrived. "I'm so glad you made it Lana. And you look gorgeous!"

"I just threw this on but Happy Birthday Zheng!" She gave Zheng a short hug then he lead her to the table where he and other employees where sitting. Lana sat next to Zheng because he was the only person she knew. Since she was the newest employee there everyone keep giving drinks, after drinks, after drinks. "I can't, I can't drink another drink." Lana started laughing she was feeling a little tipsy. "Come in just one more. Do it for me." Zheng started pouting. Lana didn't know whether to laugh or cry, ok fine I'll drink it. Lana took the mixture of all different kinds of alcoholic drinks and took it down in one go. All the employees started cheering and clapping at Lana. "Guys let's go dance!" One of the employees pulled Lana out of her seat before she could disagree.

They went to the dance floor and started dancing like there was no tomorrow. Lana was having a good time, something she needed. She was lost in the music and accidentally bumped into someone, "I'm sorry sir I-" when she looked up she saw Yifeng standing right infront of her.
