The Survival

Someone is wandering in an unknown forest when his colleagues lost their ways. He was wandering alone only with his flashlight and cellphone.

"Arghh why's no one answering their phone?!"

He kicked the dead leaves on the ground as he shows his frustration. But after the long anger movements, he pants and sat on the ground. Soon later, he heard voices from a not so far place. He tried to follow it and asked for help but...

"Is this deep enough Namjoon?"

He saw 6 men and a dead body near them. He slipped and bumped his butt on the hard ground. Good thing it didn't cause any loud sound. He hid himself and watched them trying to see their faces clearly.

"Yes Jin, it's deep enough. Jungkook, go take the body and throw it here.", a man with muscular body, carried the body and carefully put it in the hole they just dug.

He felt nervous and scared while watching them put the dead body on the hole but-

"Oh fuck his hand moved! He's not dead yet!" He said to himself. He wanted to go there and save him but there's six of them and he's only one.

"I'm sorry Jimin, you should've just stayed with us, this shouldn't have happened.", the man with deep voice said and is somehow terrifying as he said those words to the man lying in the hole.

"Jimin.. so his name is Jimin... fuck I should save him.", he muttered.

"Taehyung, that's enough. Let's just bury him now."

"Fine Yoongi", he started putting back what they've digged earlier and bury the man inside. Soon after, the rest of them did it too until it's completely done.

"Shit they are all so cruel, can he survive after this?", the man is nervous not just for him but for the person named Jimin too. He's still alive but the six people didn't notice it.

"I can't believe we did this to him. He's a close friend of mine, of us."

"He's their friend, how can they do this to him?", the man asked in his thought.

"Enough Hoseok, now he's no one. Forget him and let's leave. I'll take care of his whereabouts.", as soon as he said it, he turned his back. The rest of them followed immediately leaving the man who spoke at his place.

The man watched him carefully, trying his best to hide and let them completely go.

"I'm sorry Jimin", He wiped his tears first before following them.

As soon as the man saw that they were all gone, he ran towards the ground where they buried Jimin. Luckily, they left the shovel. The man immediately dig over and over until he found Jimin's body. He threw the shovel away and dig through his hands. He pulled Jimin and rest him on the ground. He looked for his wrist and checked if there's still some pulse and luckily, there's still a faint beat.

The gods must've been on his side because he soon heard his colleagues' call.

"HEY I'M HERE! COME HERE FAST AND HELP ME!", they ran to him and was shocked when they saw Jimin.

"What happened?! Oh my god he's bleeding and.. and.. is he still alive?", the girl panicks.

"I'll explain later, Ken and Vince help me carry him.", the three of them carried him while the girl follows them.

They arrived at the nearby hospital and let the doctors treat Jimin.

"Hey Sienna, put him on the VIP room okay? I'll pay for all of the expenses.", he said to the girl who looked for him earlier.

"But what happened Austin? What are you doing with him? Do you even know him?", Ken asked him.

"I don't really know him but I heard his name is Jimin. You know that I got separated with you guys right? I was looking for all of you and then I heard voices. I was hoping to have some help but I saw them digging a hole and that man beside them. I will leave them alone at first but I saw him move his hand and that's when I realized that he's still alive. I let them go before I ran to him.", Sienna gasped in shock while the two boys just nodded.

"How can there be such people?", Sienna asked with broken voice and teary eyes.

"I bet they are filthy rich based on their clothes. Let's just help Jimin recover and then we'll ask him further questions okay?", they all nodded.

"But what if someone went here and ask for him?", Vince asked Austin.

"That's why we'll keep it a secret for now. Sienna, make sure no one will come and see Jimin aside from us and his doctors okay?" Sienna nodded and said "okay".

"Vince, your father is a General right? You should know some lower rank people and some police officers so ask for a CCTV copy of the streets coming and exiting the forest."

"Okay I'll try my best Aust." Austin moved his body and faced Ken which was looking at him for a while now.

"Ken, you're a lawyer, I want to know which laws they broke and its corresponding charges.", Ken nodded at him. Austin turned his back to them and looked for Jimin who was being treated right now.

"But what should we get in return, Mr Park?", Austin realized that it's serious when Ken addressed him politely.

"You all want connections right? You want to merge with my company, you want something on my property. I will create a contract soon after you did your job.", Sienna clapped in happiness while the two boys nodded their heads.

Austin, or Park Seungmin is a young entrepreneur and owns a big company that is worldwide known. Despite of his achievements and things, he's still humble and having fun with his young bachelor friends.

After some hours, Jimin was sent to his private room. The doctor explained to them that gladly, Jimin only have a concussion aside from his beaten up face. The scar on his right eye has been stitched, while anything else is okay, atleast.

Austin has been with him all the time, even when he works, he's still there. He was afraid that someone will find out about Jimin and get him. For the two days he's been there, he searched about Jimin's identity and found out about the six men he saw before. He wants to help Jimin, he pitied him. He can't let this situation of Jimin out because the six men will soon find out about him since they are all wealthy enough. He wants to know what happened to Jimin so he's willing to spend his time there.

As he was typing on his laptop and reviewing the documents on his table, he saw Jimin moved. He immediately left his things and went to Jimin's side. Jimin slowly opened his eyes and Austin called the doctor.

The doctor examined him, explaining what happened and what he has now. Good thing, Jimin didn't have a memory loss like what a common effect people have when they have concussion. He remembered it all. Austin let Jimin rest first before questioning him.

The next day, Austin approached Jimin who is sitting on his bed while looking at the window.

"Hey Jimin, how are you doing?", Jimin looked at him and smiled.

"I'm doing fine, thank you for saving me. I am so happy that you saw me and I'm more glad that you saved me. How can I repay you for that?", Jimin said sincerely. He was so happy that he lived but somehow sad because of what his friends did to him.

"You're welcome Jimin. Hmmm, maybe you can repay through telling me what happened?", Jimin was shocked when Austin said what he wanted. Jimin is battling at first on whether he will tell him or not but since he saved his life, he decided to tell it to him.

"Okay...", Jimin sighed and breathe in and out first before he started speaking.

"I was a popular student in College and so are my friends. At first I was alone, I never even imagined to be friends with them because they are too high and I'm just a nobody." Austin is listening carefully to what Jimin is saying.

"But then, Hoseok asked me to join the group and I did. I mean, who am I to reject the awesome offer right? Everything is well and good, I've been welcomed and all but then...", Jimin stopped and looked at the window.

"I wanted to go to U.S. to create my own life because I see my friends have and manage their own lives so well. I told them that I'd go there and I thought they'd be happy but I was wrong. They didn't want me to go and when I said that I will regardless of what they say, Jungkook beat me. After that, all that I remembered was I heard Namjoon said to... bury... to bury my body.", Jimin spoke with broken words as the memories relived in his mind again. Tears slowly turning their way to fall off Jimin's eyes. Austin sat beside him and pat his back, telling Jimin that it's okay.

"Why would they do that to you Jimin? You said you are all good but why did they do that?", Jimin looked down.

"I guess because I know their secrets..." Jimin looked up to Austin as he said his next words.. "dark dirty secrets".

Soon as Austin heard it, he nodded at Jimin.

Jimin then suddenly looked at Austin again with something on his mind.

"Uh Mr...?"

"Just call me Austin", he smiled at Jimin.

"Austin, can I ask for a favor?", Austin looked at him confused but still asked.

"Yeah sure"

"Help me with something..."
