Chapter Six (Part 1)

While Chu Feng was feeling depressed, the Chu Heavenly Clan Executive called all the people who will partake the Bloodline Testing Ceremony to step above the Altar.
Old Ape and other parents with their children came forward to the Ancient Altar. They all entered the array formation of the Bloodline Testing Ceremony.
After all the participants entered the array, The Chu Heavenly Clan Executive made a hand seal as he murmured an incarnation under his breath. He then touched the Ancient Stone as it slowly radiated a spiritual aura.
"Buzz..."
Suddenly, a phenomenon above the atmosphere appeared. Rich amount of spiritual Qi emerges from nowhere, as the rumbles of thunder echoed from heaven.
"Crack..."
The Ancient Stone in the middle of the altar made a cracking noise as a mysterious force materialized on it. The mysterious force flew up the sky as it shredded the clouds and covered the entire sky below the Chu Heavenly Clan.
A few minutes later...
A bolt of lightning rumbled and strike towards a parent carrying an infant. Strangely, the lightning-caused no harm and entered the child's dantian. Then it integrated into his body.
When the crowd saw this, they were astonished.
"This child is going to have a bright future. He is only a month old and yet awakened the Lightning Bloodline. Amazing!"
"You are right. Furthermore, this child Lightning Bloodline is not that ordinary. An Earth Rank Lightning Bloodline with a proper nurturing can become a formidable expert!" The crowd couldn't help but praise the child.

In the Ancient Martial Starfield, there are different classes of the Lightning Bloodline.
From Common, Yellow, Black, Earth, Heaven, and Divine.
The Common Bloodline was the lowest and the weakest while Heaven Bloodline was the peak existence.
Divine Bloodlines merely existed in legends, until monstrous geniuses start appearing, such as Chu Xuanyuan and Chu Hanxian.
But after Chu Hanxian and Chu Xuanyuan, there were no single younger generations who able to acquire the Divine Class Bloodline.
That is why some rogue cultivators were feeling envious of the child. And while majority the crowd was looking forward to Chu Xuanyuan's son's bloodline.
After the child's earth rank lightning bloodline, one by one, lightning strikes and bombarded the infants and kids ranging from 6-14. It integrated into their body and turned into a bloodline.
Although the appearance of Earth Rank bloodline astonished the crowd, the following bloodlines have not impressed them. All of the following infants and children, the majority of them, acquired common bloodlines, but there were also small numbers who had acquired Yellow Rank, and a lesser amount of them who acquired Black Rank Bloodlines.
While few unlucky children did not acquire any bloodlines when the Lightning integrated their body. In their case, the crowd took pity of them while others did not care.
After a cup of tea, the numbers who partake the Bloodline Awakening Ceremony was decreasing at a rapid speed. The crowd was waiting and eager to see Chu Xuanyuan's Son's bloodline.
Meanwhile, Old Ape stood there in the middle of the Ancient Altar.
The reason Chu Feng has not yet to receive a bloodline was that Old Ape was using a powerful formation to delay the process of Chu Feng's Bloodline Awakening. Because he wanted Chu Feng to be the last child to be integrated with the lightning bloodline.
While the Ceremony was still going on, below the altar, Chu Heavenly Clan Chief Chu Liangshan looked at Chu Xuanyuan and sighed. "If you want to cancel your previous plans, there is still time."
"My decisions are final. Patriarch, this is the only way those people will suspect us less, Chu Heavenly Clan!" As Chu Xuanyuan said that, his eyes never left the silhouette of Old Ape and Chu Feng.
