JEALOUSY

How unlucky. How could this unfortunate thing happen right when she was about to say goodbye home, she instead found her flat tire. How could this happen to her?

Even worse, she had to say yes to the offer of Felix who wanted to drive her home. In fact, she wanted to avoid this man desperately. Now, she was in the same car with this man. Her efforts to avoid him were even wasted.

In the car, no one started the conversation. Felix plays music from his music player, who knows what music he's playing. Roxanne just stared at the road beside her. But, instead she could see the shadow of Felix who was driving. At a glance, Roxanne thinks Felix is really handsome and the way he drives with one hand somehow makes her feel a little awed. A little.

"Since you were silent there, what were you looking at?" suddenly Felix asked and glanced over at Roxanne.

"Huh? Oh, the road." Roxanne is shocked and she doesn't know what to answer, which ends in a short, silly answer.

Felix just laughed at Roxanne's answer.

"Excuse me. Is there something funny?" Roxanne asked, looking directly at Felix.

"You. You're very funny, Roxy." answered Felix with his trademark smile.

Roxanne just snorted at Felix's answer which she thought was more ridiculous than her.

"Just focus on the road. Don't look at me all the time. You might go the wrong way, even though I gave the address. If you end up on the wrong road, you will surely blame me." Roxanne grumbled as she caught Felix who kept looking back at her with a mischievous smile.

Felix wants to laugh because the plan worked. He really planned this with Dennis earlier on the phone. Felix asked Dennis and Edric for help to come to his location and slides Roxanne's tires. It was all just so Roxanne didn't refuse his invitation again. Just once the woman could refuse Felix, and this time on, Felix wouldn't accept rejection.

Earlier, Roxanne stared at the car window next to her. Is her neck not tired? And what did she actually see? When Felix asked what she was seeing, Roxanne looked surprised and awkward. What's wrong with her? And after hearing Roxanne's answer, Felix furrowed her brows and laughed in the next second. Felix felt he had gone crazy while laughing at the silly thing Roxanne was doing.

Because it's too ridiculous, he can't even focus on himself when driving. Roxanne had given her mansion's address in detail, and thankfully Felix knew the area. But, Roxanne actually warns him if Felix doesn't focus on the road, he could go wrong, and... what? Roxanne thinks Felix will blame her? This woman is somewhat strange.

Shortly thereafter, Felix's car arrived in front of the mansion and entered the large yard after obtaining permission from the security.

"Hm, do you want to go in first?" Roxanne asked. He looked doubtful when offering Felix. But, again, for reasons of formality because Felix had escorted him home safely to her destination, he had to throw away his ignorance.

To be honest, Felix had to go to the office immediately, but this seemed more important to him.

"Of course." replied Felix, smiling and turning off the engine.

The two of them entered the joint mansion, and were seen a middle-aged man sipping his coffee while reading the newspaper in the living room.

"Daddy, not going to the office?" Roxanne said as she approached the middle-aged man.

Ah, he's her daddy, thought Felix.

To think about, Roxanne felt she couldn't understand why she was offering that invitation. Stupid. Surely Felix will now think weird. Now, she was confused about what to explain if her parents asked. Her mind and heart sometimes aren't in line. She must practice controlling it later.

"Victor already went to the office first. Daddy wants to be at home." Roxanne's father replied while putting down his newspaper.

His father glanced behind Roxanne and looked at Felix from head to toe. At that moment, Roxanne was relieved and luckily Felix was wearing his office suit. If not, maybe Roxanne has been lectured by her father for carelessly bringing men into the mansion.

"Ah, he's the son of my cafe customer, Daddy." Roxanne said before her father could ask.

Felix steps toward Roxanne and her father. He really seemed confident from the way he walked. Very authoritative and seemed to inflame his charisma that couldn't be rejected by anyone.

"Let me introdue myself first, sir. I'm Felix Jullian. Such a pleasure to meet you." said Felix, holding out a hand.

"Ah, I see. Nice to meet you, Son. I'm Adrien, Roxanne's father." Roxanne's father answered welcoming Felix's handshake and embracing it as if they were friends. Oh, don't forget Adrien's crisp laughter when offering Felix to sit near the park with him, while Roxanne only observes how they interact. She wrinkled her forehead in disbelief. Why do they look so familiar? Even Roxanne, who has met with Felix for two days, still feels unfamiliar and awkward.

Roxanne was going to the kitchen to make a drink. Apparently, her mommy was there.

"There's a guest, Mom." Roxanne said.

"Oh? There aren't usually guests in the morning like this. Who?" Asked her mother who immediately helped Roxanne get a cup and some snacks.

"Mommy knows about my café customers, right? It's her son." Roxanne explained briefly.

"Really? A man?" Asked her mother enthusiastically and nudged Roxanne's arm.

"Mommyyy." Roxanne groaned because she almost dropped her cup. "What if men come." he continued. His mother chuckled.

"Remember this, you never bring men home. Also, mom doesn't know where you went this morning to bring a man home. Is he that handsome, huh?" Agathe, the mother, chuckling. Refusing to answer the mother, Roxanne chooses to remain busy with preparing drinks.

"There is a handsome man who is talking with daddy. Who is he?" Asked Jeanette, Roxanne's little sister, who suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Somehow, Jeanette's question became the answer for her mother.

"Just a guest." Roxanne answered curtly.

Agathe just smiled and shook her head, while Jeanette was still not satisfied with her sister's short, suspicious answer.

"Why are you home, Jena?" Roxanne asked her sister with her call and prepared a tray to bring drinks and snacks.

Jeanette just grinned and took over the tray Roxanne would bring. Roxanne already understands the meaning of her sister's grin. Her sister really likes to be absent from college class. Roxanne who saw Jeanette brought the tray and immediately left, clamed up and walked along with her mother behind Jeanette.

Felix can overcome this small thing. With confidence, he walked to greet Roxanne's father and introduced himself without mentioning his family name. That's because he wants to be known first without his family name.

According to Felix, Adrien looks very friendly. In fact, they are now spending time happily talking about work and education that Felix has taken with extraordinary achievements. Adrien continues to praise Felix for that.

In the middle of their conversation, 3 women came and sat in the chairs opposite them. Seen one of them, the young girl Felix believed was Roxanne's sister, neatly arranging drinks and snacks. Adrien offered his drink and Felix took a cup of warm tea and tasted the warm taste.

"Are you my sister's lover?" Asked the young girl. Felix spontaneously choked on his own drink. He never thought that the young girl would ask questions to his surprise.

Everyone also looked surprised by Roxanne's sister's question. Agathe immediately rebuked Jeanette for not just asking questions like that. In fact, Jeanette hasn't introduced herself well.

"Wh-what?" Felix asked, putting his cup softly.

"Ah, don't mind Jeanette, please. She's our youngest daughter." said Agathe politely, while Felix just smiled and nodded. "I'm Agathe, Roxanne's mother. Sorry, I didn't have time to greet you, I was in the kitchen. So, what's your name?" Agathe asked Felix's name later.

"Oh, Felix Jullian. You can call me Felix, ma'am." Felix answered politely with his trademark smile.

"Ah, Felix. Forgive my blunt little princess's question, she's always like that." explained Roxanne's mother as she embraced Jeanette.

"Ahaha, I see. She seems to be very sociable with strangers, apparently." said Felix interspersed with low laughter.

To be honest, Felix was very surprised when suddenly Jeanette, Roxanne's sister, asked if he was her lover, but he also wouldn't lie if he was glad someone thought that. It crossed Felix's mind, that meant Roxanne had never shown any man to her father and family. Felix felt a little special because of that.

Roxanne has to give her sister a lesson later. It was as if she wanted to sink her head into a pile of sand at this rate. Just look at her, her sister thought something was suspicious about Felix and herself. She must admit, indeed Felix was the first man she brought to the front of her family. However, for Roxanne it doesn't have more special meaning, of course. How did her sister think that Felix was her lover?

In fact, now Felix looks very close with her parents. It took nly a few minutes ago they had met, and now Felix was like their own son. Ah, fortunately, her twin sister isn't here. She would have been bullied to death for bringing a man back to the mansion. Moreover, Victorina only knows if roxanne says goodbye to jogging. Roxanne wonders where her sister went.

"Ehm, Felix!" Roxanne shouted suddenly who immediately got the attention of everyone, except Jeanette, because her sister already went to watch her favorite TV program in the family room. And forcefully, she had to call Felix without the frill 'Mister'.

Felix looks confused, and Roxanne clears her throat before continuing.

"What's wrong?" Asked Felix, who was confused.

"Hm, aren't you having business at work? Earlier, you said -" Roxanne said, looking like a question. In fact she was unable to continue with her lies. Looks very silly, because she also doesn't know Felix activities today, and of course Roxanne doesn't want to know.

Everyone there looked at Roxanne in confusion.

"Yes, Felix had said before that he was busy at work, and just wanted to stop by for a minute here. Did you forget that, Felix?" Roxanne explained, anticipating a question about how she could find out if Felix was should be in the office. She was very desperate at this time, and she only hoped that Felix understood her intentions and obeyed her now.

Felix was very surprised when Roxanne suddenly called out his name when he himself was having good joking with Roxanne's parents. Even more shocked, when she continued to say his name without using the usual 'master' frill and she said as if she cared about him.

At first, Felix didn't understand why Roxanne did it, but little by little he understood what it meant. Roxanne wants Felix to leave immediately, it seems. Ah, it's a shame Roxanne still doesn't want him to be around.

"Oh, yeah. Actually, I do have business in the office this afternoon. Hm, but, my coworker said earlier that if he can handle it, and this afternoon I'm free." Felix explained, glancing at Roxanne briefly, as if to say if he could help the lie that Roxanne had said earlier.

Roxanne wants to play, and Felix will follow her. But, of course in his own way.

"Well, luckily he overcame it right away, I still want to talk with you, Son." Adrien said cheerfully.

"Ah, but, it seems like Roxanne doesn't want me to linger here, sir." Felix sneered in a spoiled tone to Roxanne's father.

"Let her be. She really is like that. Just understand her, she never takes any man to the mansion, even though I want to see what her man type is, but she still doesn't bring any men. What will happen to her when I match her with my acquaintance, if not even close to any man. " Roxanne's father explained at length.

Felix just laughed along with Roxanne's father, but suddenly the last sentence spoken by Roxanne's father made him frown and suddenly his world felt empty. Felix's mind went blank right then and didn't know what to say. When he turned his face to Roxanne, it seemed like she didn't really care about this conversation, or didn't even listen to them. Because what Felix sees, Roxanne looks annoyed at him now and just falls silent by folding his arms in front of her chest.

"So, at least I'm a little lucky because Roxanne brought you here, Son. You must be so close to Roxanne that she wants to bring you here." Roxanne's father continued. Felix just smiled wryly and nodded.

Gosh, it felt like he wanted to be angry, but he knew he couldn't do it. He didn't know why he had to be stuck in a situation like this. Really, he doesn't want Roxanne to have a lover. He couldn't even imagine it. Felix feels...
