Ah, I miss her so much, Felix thought after finishing his work. He leaned his head in his office chair and turned it.
How Felix didn't miss that woman. Yesterday, Felix had to work in an office all day and undergo various kinds of meetings. He could not leave his responsibility. As a result, he could not meet Roxanne. Just to send a message or call her, Felix can't do it. In fact, he was staying at his office for one night. And, this morning there was still one more meeting that he had to lead.
Felix took a rough breath. He intended to contact Roxanne, before someone knocked on the door. His secretary came then bowed his head.
"Mr. Jeffrey has come to see you, sir." he said, then nodded by Felix.
"Looks like you're still busy." said Jeffrey into the room.
"No, I finished everything. What's wrong, bro?" Asked Felix.
Jeffrey walked to the long sofa and sat there with his legs crossed casually.
"Coffee first, brother." said Jeffrey with a wink. Felix who saw the attitude of his brother who became a caffeine drink lover, immediately contacted the staff and told him to bring a cup of coffee and some snacks.
"We can talk while we wait, Bro," Felix said. "What's the matter? Because as far as I know, you very rarely set foot in the company." continued Felix.
"You know me so well, brother," laughed Jeffrey. He rarely sets foot in the company. In fact, he refused his father when his father asked Jeffrey to be his successor. Jeffrey felt inappropriate for work with these various responsibilities.
"Hm, so?" Felix asked impatiently. He felt his brother wanted to talk to him about an important matter. If it's not important, he won't want to look far to the office.
"So -" Jeffrey's sentence was interrupted by the sound of a knock on the door and the staff carrying a tray containing a cup of coffee and a few jars of snacks.
Felix was annoyed. This brother is stalling apparently. Jeffrey who saw Felix's annoyance chuckled softly and leaned over as the staff left the room.
"About Roxanne," Jeffrey said calmly. He deliberately hung his sentence to see Felix's reaction.
Felix was speechless. His body instantly stiff heard Roxanne's name called. What's wrong with Roxanne?
"Don't be so rigid, brother. Take it easy, I won't take her from you. I just want to ask you where of course this question is directly related to her, and -"
"Just ask, Jeff. You make me dizzy." cut Felix suddenly.
"Are you really serious about her? I mean, you've only met her for a few days, and suddenly you want to marry her? Isn't that too fast for you?"
"Of course not." Felix answered quickly. He felt confident in his choice to marry Roxanne.
Seeing the reaction of his brother who seemed to not believe it, Felix just sighed then stood up with both hands in his pants pocket. He walked to the large window that showed the view of the towering buildings and paused.
"I know this is too fast, for me, and also for Roxanne. But, since the first time I met her, I felt a different interest, Jeff. She, Roxanne, is different from other women. While other women are struggling desperately to get my attention, what Roxanne did was silent. She does nothing. That's what makes me want to enter her heart, want to know her, want to love her, and I need her. Ah, even this sentence won't be able to perfect what I feel for her. " Felix chuckled, then he turned to face his brother. He looked at his brother seriously.
"I love her, Jeff. I want to fight for my love only for her." he continued and smiled softly at his brother.
Jeffrey paused to hear how Felix explained everything. He felt Felix was really serious about his words. He could not doubt a Felix. Jeffrey knew, Felix was a person who could really be responsible in all fields, and Roxanne's problem, jeffrey felt he could trust fully with Felix. He does not need to worry.
"Alright, I think I've got your answer, from your heart." said Jeffrey. He immediately stood up after finishing his coffee.
"In that case, I trust you, I hope you can take care of her. Soon, she'll become part of our family, right?" Jeffrey chuckled. Then, he immediately left Felix's office leaving Felix smiling after hearing what his brother had said.
Yeah, soon. Felix looked back at the view outside.

This morning, Roxanne will go with Felix's mother, Joanna. Last night, Joanna asked Roxanne to go together. Maybe shopping. Roxanne is ready with her casual clothes. She wore a white shirt with a knee-length peach skirt which was then wrapped in her beige cardigan.
Moments later, Joanna arrived at the Collin's family mansion, and she was having a conversation with Agathe. Roxanne approaches the two of them and sits in the chair opposite them.
"Ah, you're ready, apparently." Joanna said shortly after she realized Roxanne's whereabouts. Roxanne smiled and nodded.
"Alright, you guys have fun." said Agathe. The three of them stood up and said goodbye. Joanna's car and driver are ready in front of the mansion. Joanna and Roxanne entered the car then the car drove towards a mall.
"I'm sorry, for troubling you," Joanna said, clutching Roxanne's hands beside her.
"No doubt, Mrs. Valeraine, I do it with all my heart, I think I also need shopping, moreover it's an honor to be able to go shopping with you." Roxanne answered, greeted by Joanna's chuckle.
"You know, Felix is very busy right now, I think he even spent the night in his office," complained Joanna.
Roxanne who heard it, somehow felt unable to bear with Felix while imagining Felix who worked all night to spend the night in the office. Roxanne cursed herself for having misunderstood Felix. Usually, he always contacts her even though she answers with a short answer. Roxanne felt it wasn't her fault, because right now she was also organizing her feelings after Felix's 'reckless actions' at dinner that time.
"Ella?" called Joanna. "You're daydreaming, what's wrong?" Joanna asked.
"Ah, I'm sorry, Mrs. Valeraine. I'm fine." Roxanne answered.
"Ella, you're too formal with me, we're already familiar, hm, how about from now on, you call me 'mom'?" Roxanne raised an eyebrow at Joanna's suggestion.
Without thinking, Roxanne just smiled and nodded her head. "Okay, Mom," she said.
Their ride continues to be filled with small talk, until finally their car stops at a large shopping center. The driver opened the passenger door. Joanna and Roxanne went down. They both walked side by side with Roxanne who hooked her arms on Joanna.
After entering several clothing and furniture stores, they finally planned to have lunch together. However, when they were about to walk, Roxanne's cellphone rang. She saw who had called her then moved away a little from Joanna. Tired Joanna walked to a long wooden chair some distance away.
"Hello," Roxanne answered.
"My Roxy,"
Roxanne smiled a little when Felix called her with that dear call. But, a second later, she cleared her throat and showed her nonchalant attitude again. Luckily Felix didn't see her at the moment.
"Tell me, what's up?" Roxanne asked not to make small talk.
"What are you doing?"
"At the mall."
"With whom?"
"Ehm, your mother."
"Is it true?" Roxanne frowned when she heard Felix who sounded like he was raising her voice 1 octave. When he was about to answer it, Felix had hung up at sudden.
"What's wrong with him?" annoyed Roxanne.

At the same time,
TING! TING! TING!
"Hello?" greet the call recipient.
"MOM! GOD, fortunately you immediately answered it, are you with Roxanne?" Felix asked Joanna, the call recipient.
"You didn't even answer your own mother's greeting, and immediately asked that? What a devoted child." said Joanna while crossing her legs.
"Hehe, I'm sorry, mom, hm, can I borrow Roxanne for a minute? Hm? Can I?" Felix seemed to beg Joanna.
Joanna was silent for a while. Actually, she still wants to spend time with Roxanne, but, it seems like this child misses Roxanne more. Joanna chuckled.
"Alright. He's yours, mom will send the location." Joanna answered and immediately sent the location via message.
"THANK YOU, MOM! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! MUACH! I'LL BE THERE IN 5 MINUTES, DON'T TELL HER! BYE!" Felix looked happy after getting the contents of her mother's message. Joanna just chuckled at his son's attitude and immediately closed her call.
Joanna saw Roxanne looking for her, then she waved her hand as a signal. Roxanne who saw it immediately approached her.
"Ella, wait here for a while, mom will go to the toilet for a while." Roxanne nodded at her and sat on the long wooden chair.
Oh, I'm sorry, Ella, Joanna thought, feeling guilty for not telling Roxanne that Felix would come here to pick her up.
When he hears Roxanne at the mall, he thinks why Roxanne didn't just ask him. He doesn't want Roxanne to go alone. However, a few seconds later, how shocked when he heard Roxanne with her mother. Not thinking long, he immediately closed the call and contacted his mother.
When making a call with his mother, he was in a hurry to clean his office desk filled with paper. After ending the call, Felix grabbed his coat and car keys, ran to the elevator which immediately took him to the basement. Luckily, the place was not too far from his office.
Finally, he arrived in front of the mall that was already mentioned. He entered and let the valet officer who will park his car then look for Roxanne's whereabouts. Joanna said she was in the bathroom to distract so Roxanne could be alone with Felix. Ah, I must bow before my mother later, he thought.
After running around long enough, he found Roxanne who was sitting on a long wooden chair. He smiled and tried to stay calm. Calm his fast heart.
"Are you alone, Miss?" Felix asked in front of Roxanne who was playing her cellphone and still wasn't aware of Felix's whereabouts.
Feeling called, Roxanne looked up and it was clear how Roxanne was surprised to find Felix in front of her. In fact, she unwittingly almost dropped her cellphone and immediately stood up from her seat.
"How - how - can you?" Roxanne stammers can't continue her sentence.
"Ah, I immediately contacted mom, so I closed your call, hehe, I'm sorry." Felix answered honestly. Felix immediately felt guilty for having ended their call earlier.
"Ehm," Roxanne cleared her throat. "So?"
"Well, I'll make up for my mistake, of course."
"With?" Roxanne asked again.
"Having lunch together."
"Apparently, that was your initial plan to take me to lunch together, isn't that right, Mr. Felix?" Roxanne folds her arms in front of her chest.
Felix clapped while laughing. "Hm, you know me so well, Roxy, proud of that." Felix instead feels proud of Roxanne where she can guess correctly.
Roxanne rolled her eyes. "All right, uh, we have to wait for your mother first." Roxanne turns her gaze to look for Joanna who hasn't appeared either.
"There's no need to wait for me, Ella, you guys go." Joanna, who had appeared out of nowhere, immediately answered Roxanne's words and smiled.
"Ah, alright, Mom." said Felix quickly and immediately took Roxanne's hand. Feeling disrespectful because he didn't say goodbye properly, Roxanne told him to stop forcefully. However, Felix ignored him. Felix took the key from the valet and immediately headed for his car. With full power, Roxanne unlinks her fingers from Felix.
"You suck!" upset Roxanne then immediately entered the front passenger seat. Felix chuckled and got in the car.
"But, you like it." Felix chuckled teasingly at Roxanne for a glance.
Not wanting to listen anymore, Roxanne chose silence as if she closed her ears to Felix.
