FORWARD

"Hmmmm."

Felix turned to the woman sitting in the passenger seat beside him. Roxanne continues to moan and babble incoherently. Even the woman woke up suddenly and hit everything in front of her. Felix also had to stop her with one free hand, while one hand was busy driving.

Felix chuckles with amusement at seeing Roxanne's already drunk. Instead of looking sexy, Roxanne looks like a wild tiger that doesn't recognize her current position.

Before long, Felix's car stopped in front of the mansion. After he got out of his car, he walked towards Roxanne's passenger door and looked at Roxanne who was still babbling incoherently. Felix was confused about whether he should wake Roxanne up so that the woman realized or carried her to the room. Before Felix had time to decide, Roxanne suddenly woke up. Felix raised his eyebrows as Roxanne's eyes opened and looked at Felix silently.

"Please, carry me." Roxanne stretched her arms towards Felix in a whimper. Felix chuckled. However, a split second later, he cleared his throat.

"Are you aware enough to say it, hm?" Felix crossed his arms and leaned his back against the car door.

"Please, Felix..… I'm so weak.… Sniff... felix."

Worse, Roxanne started crying again. Felix doesn't know what else makes the woman cry when drunk. Felix feels that he is in a disadvantaged position, because at this time he finds a mansion gardener who is looking at Felix.

"Is everything okay there?" asked the gardener in a half screaming voice.

"Oh, yes. No need to worry. We're fine! Nothing happened here!" Felix answered with a chuckle. The gardener stepped closer to Felix. Felix didn't feel guilty, but he was ashamed. Very shy.

"Are you sure? You seem need a help there."

"No, no. Don't worry. She's just," Felix pauses and turns to Roxanne who has calmed down and closed her eyes again. He sighed softly with relief. "She's drunk." chuckled Felix.

"Suddenly she asked me to carry her earlier. I was just teasing her and she even cried. In fact, I was going to carry her. But, doing a little act is okay, right?" chuckled Felix who only got a shake from the gardener.

"I see. Looks like she looks really drunk. You have to warm her up." Said the gardener with oddity.

"I know." However, Felix immediately realized what the garden said. "Wait, what?" Felix asked the gardener who was familiar with Felix since childhood.

"What?" the gardener seemed to be ignorant.

"I seem to hear you say...."

"What did I say?"

Felix looked confused because he actually heard the gardener's words clearly enough. He was confused why the gardener gave him such advice. Sayings that sound ambiguous.

"She's calmed down." The gardener's words made Felix aware. Felix also turned to Roxanne, who was already calm. Felix took another sigh of relief.

"She is. Then, I have to take her inside now."

Felix immediately carried Roxanne in a bridal style. Roxanne doesn't refuse, of course. Roxanne instead wrapped her arms tightly around Felix's neck. Not only that. What made Felix feel happy right now was Roxanne pressed her face against Felix's neck and sniffed him while continuing to mutter a word.

"Warm."

That's what Roxanne is muttering. Felix entered and walked towards the stairs before he passed his parents who were in the living room. Joanna realized Felix's presence and turned to Felix.

"Gosh, is that Ella? Roxanne? What's wrong with her?" Joanna asked worriedly. She walked over to Felix, who was standing at the end of the stairs.

"Calm down, Mom. Roxanne is all right. Well, actually, she's a little drunk." explained Felix casually.

Joanna narrowed her eyes at Felix. thought that Felix made Roxanne so drunk like this. When Felix was about to speak, suddenly a hand slapped him gently. It is true. Because the slap felt so weak.

"Hnggg," Roxanne groans.

Roxanne continues to groan in discomfort. Felix chuckled with amusement while Joanna was still looking at Roxanne worriedly.

"All right. I have to make this tiger comfortable on her bed first, mom."

Felix pressed Roxanne's body against him by lifting the body back up, so it wouldn't fall. After receiving Joanna's nod, she turned around and immediately went upstairs.

Arriving at the room, softly and slowly, Felix lay down Roxanne's body on the bed. He saw Roxanne who was already comfortable with the place she was in. Felix smiled.

Felix decides to go back downstairs to get a glass of mineral water for Roxanne. He left the room and closed the door. As he was about to come down, he ran into Jeffrey and Orson.

Jeffrey looked back at Felix where Felix had just come from there.

"Where's Roxanne?" asked Jeffrey.

"She went to the club alone?" now it was Orson's turn to ask.

Felix put his hands in the pockets of his cloth pants. "She's already asleep inside."

"Wow, what did you do to tire her out now?" asked Orson plainly. Jeffrey nudged Orson's arm and signaled to shut up.

"You know Orson didn't mean anything. Looks like you two were just walking around until Roxanne was tired." Jeffrey said carefully. Well, he already noticed the change in Felix's face after Orson asked Felix earlier.

"Not really."

Jeffrey raised his eyebrows. Seeing that, Felix just waved his hand and answered as he walked away.

"She's just a little drunk."

Come on, Roxanne can't be said to be a little drunk considering Roxanne's behavior that made Felix laugh earlier. Ah, Felix regrets that he didn't have time to capture that rare moment. Maybe next time Felix should get the wild tiger drunk again.

Joanna saw Felix who was at the end of the stairs leading to the kitchen. After a while, Jeffrey and Orson also came and sat down with Joanna and Ferdinand.

"Jeff, you better stop all your tricks. Look at Felix. He's really serious about Roxanne. Don't be naughty anymore." said Joanna as Jeffrey and Orson sat side by side.

"Okay, mom." Jeffrey replied carelessly, whether he understood what Joanna said or not. Ferdinand just raised his eyebrows as he looked alternately at his wife and Jeffrey. Is he the only one who knows nothing here? Ferdinand felt alienated.

Felix returned with a glass of mineral water and a dry towel which he picked up from the laundry room. Seeing that, Joanna stopped in her tracks. Makes Felix turn to his mother's call.

"Roxanne is fine, right? She's not vomiting? Do i have to make something up?" Joanna asked him thousand questions again, remembering Roxanne who was so drunk.

"Mom, calm down. Let me take care of Roxanne, okay? I understand you're worried, but Roxanne's really fine." said Felix trying to calm his mother. Joanna finally nodded her head.

"I'm just worried if she gets sick later."

"She won't, mom. She's just drunk." Felix said with an amused ecstasy as he turned around. Come on, if someone was in Felix's current position, he wouldn't be able to stop laughing if he kept remembering the wild tiger's behavior. Ah no. Felix didn't want to think about it. Thinking of another man who took his place? It will never happen.

Felix was about to go back up the stairs. However, suddenly he stopped and turned to his parents.

"Oh, yeah. Looks like I can advance to the next round." Felix grinned. And without waiting for the question of his parents who looked confused, Felix had turned and climbed the stairs to his room. Towards his wild tiger.
