"Raven-san!" Bepo called out to me the next day at lunch. I looked over at him and raised an eyebrow.
"What is it?" I asked while swallowing the lump of food in my mouth.
"Could you come with me? I've got something for you." He motioned with his paw for me to follow. I look over at Shachi, Penguin, and Train and they all shared the same quizzical look I had.
"Ya, sure…." I said hesitantly, still a bit distrusting after what happened with Train. He led me down a few hallways, which were now becoming a little more familiar, and into a room. It was a small room with nothing more than a chair, desk, and something on the desk.
"Since you didn't really like the jumpsuit, I thought you still might want a uniform." He held up a black, long sleeve shirt that had a Heart Pirate's symbol on the bottom right in yellow. I couldn't help but smile at him.
"Thank you Bepo, I love it." I said while giving him a hug. He really is Fluffy! He scratched the back of his head shyly as I pulled away from the hug.
"I do have one more thing." He said while rummaging around the drawer to the chest. He pulled out a Sea Prism Stone dagger. The handle was decorated with various jewels, it looked more for decoration than combat. But I'd seen that dagger before, only stained with red.
"H-how did you get t-that?" I stuttered while backing away from Bepo and the object, leaning against the wall for support.
"Raven, what's wrong?" Bepo asked while stepping forward, the dagger still gleaming in his hand. ~What's wrong, Raven, are you scared? Are you so weak that you can't even look at it? What would He say?~ I could hear a voice ring out in the back of my mind, her voice.
"No!" I screeched out, arms flailing, and knocked the dagger out of Bepo's paws. It slid across the floor, under the desk, out of sight. I clamped my hands over my ears and shut my eyes tightly. I could hear her laugh over and over again in my mind. It was winning, She was winning. I felt a warm touch on my shoulder.
"Raven?" the voice was Bepo's? He sounded worried. I suddenly snapped back into reality, stood up, and walked out of the room without a word.
