Sweet But Psycho...

"You will get married, whether you like it or not." My father said sternly.

I was currently sitting in my father's study, whilst they discussed my behavior and planned my life.

Ahhh, the joys of family...

"why can't Olivia?! She is the oldest after all! The pride and joy of you both wouldn't miss the opportunity to marry a rich guy!" I yelled angrily .

"Violet, don't raise your voice at your father!" My mother yelled back at me," I also think that you owe your sister an apology."

Agh, give it a rest. Your daughter is a gold digger, accept it.

"Ya, Violet be respectful." Said my mother's copycat with a wicked smile plastered on her face, "Manners are everything and it's a perfect example as to why you are in this predicament." She added and I did not miss her snobbish look.

that's it!!!

"You bitch! " I yelled as I tackled Olivia, bringing her straight to the ground and started repeatedly banging her head against the tiles.

"Violet!!!" My mother's loud voice brought me back to reality. We were all still seated in the study. Oh my God! I just thought of killing my sister.

psycho.

I shook my head to get rid of the gruesome image," Violet concentrate!" Yelled my father yet again.

"Violet listen carefully, in 3 weeks you will be walking down that aisle, I don't care if I have to go to hell and back to get you there. Trust me when I say, I will." My mother said and I swear I saw the devil in her eyes.

"You will be staying at my brother's house with your cousins, till your wedding day. Chloe is your wedding planner, so get packing. You will go to your new home straight from there." He said casually.

My family's Cheshire smile broke me. I bowed my head in defeat, they won. A tear rolled down my cheek, my single plea for help before I decided that I will not let them get the pleasure of shattering me. I shall stand tall, till the very end.

I stood outside a blue and white house with windows tinted blue. It was a beautiful family home, kind of where I spent half my life. I walked towards the white front door, I struggled to knock on the door with all my bags on me but I eventually succeeded.

"Hi mum." I smiled to my 'second mum'. Her long chocolate brown hair cascaded down her her shoulders and her lovely blue eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. Chloe was more of a mother to me than my actual one, so in my heart I truly acknowledge Chloe as my one and only mum and this is my family.

"Markus! Sophie! Alec! Ruby, honey! Guess who is here?" She screamed with joy at the top of her lungs," Violet, sweetie come inside." She said with a beautiful smile that warms my heart every time.

"Honey!"

"Vi!"

"Hey!"

"Viwet!"

the whole house erupted with noise and laughter. My four year old angel jumped into my arms and smiled. I held Ruby close to my chest and my family surrounded me. My heart was warm and the love that we all had for each other radiated through the room, at this moment I felt complete cause this is my home.

" I told you years ago, to give us a call and we would have gotten our lawyer and we would have adopted you." Said my mum(Chloe) and my dad(Markus) nodded in agreement.

"you all both know they would never have agreed, it would have ended up like that time I tried to move out after graduation. I am an object in their eyes and now I am being sold in a business contract to them. To me they are just the people that created me. You both are my parents in my eyes and this right here is my family. I have been saying this for years. That's why, I would like you to walk me down the aisle, dad." I said with a soft smile towards the end.

"Awe!" Said Sophie.

" Oh, honey. I would be delighted to if—"he said smiling.

"Don't even. I will make sure you do." I said firmly so everyone knew my mind was made up so there was no turning back.

"Ohh! I can't wait! I am going to plan the best wedding for my daughter. I was thinking that fill white for the church hall and then for the reception we could go with a rose gold and red color scheme because I remember when you were a child, you would always tell me that's what you wanted whenever you and Sophie would both plan for the future." My eyes teared up as I looked at her. I can't believe she remembered.

"Oh, my baby." She said as she got up from her chair and embraced me in a motherly hug.
