I killed her

"Emily was the one who introduced me to her parents who then helped me land a job in Deaor despite the damning evidence of me taking part with the Noah thing, kinda hard to refute when I had dozen of children around me saying I brought them toys to play with when I went down the cellar to watch them. Why are children so damn honest?" The man rambled and rambled to Salem as she forced herself to listen.

"Have you ever met the girl's parents? They were radical with their ideas about how Deaor should stray from the Tyrant that was First like all the other hundred," the man laughed as he reminisced of the two, "Kind people really. If you needed help they would always be there to help, if there was trouble happening in Novas, Ellitole, or even Necromore for crying out loud, they would always make sure the people had their voices heard and what not."

Salem worked her way to unlock the cellar as she listened to the man speak. She had no idea why she was even helping this man when he too ignored her cries of help when Noah would hit her.

"Did you know they were the ones to find out about Noah's plan and leaked it to the police of Deaor, the one city of all Five planets and one hundred that have the closest ties with First. The police in Deaor, they ain't like your typical officers, they actually get work done. The only reason Noah and I were able to escape with the kids was because Närrin was there to help us…."

"Do you know who killed Kr-Emily's parents?"

The man didn't say anything as he pondered on Salem's question, she didn't push for an answer either. It was a blessing for the single fact that he finally put an end to this murder case.

"I was the one to kill her parents, I killed her."

"And her? She isn't dead-"

"I KILLED HER! I made darn sure of it. I held her in my arms, I felt her slip out, she was gone." The man confessed his crimes to Salem, "She looked so betrayed ya' know? Emily helped me get my life back together and I took hers''

"How did you ge-"

"Just ask something else"

"....What's your name?" Salem asked the man.

The man thought for a while, he thinks a lot too no?

"I haven't spoken my name in a long time. My name isn't Daisies nor is it Noah, I can tell you that for sure!" the man laughed at his own jokes, "My name is Dottie, short for my 'paragraph long name' as Emily would say. It was a raining that day and you could hear the droplets hitting the dome around Deaor when she won some championship for track and was rewarded with the Dottie's tear-lick, weird name I know, but she was so proud of it and showed it to everyone and she then called me Dottie since it"

There was a pause of silence as Dottie caught his breath. Salem just kept working, Novas locks aren't a joke. It was in that silence that Salem actually processed his words.

"Dottie…Dottie's tear-lick as in 'Dimitre's golden tears of lacrossia'!?" Salem exclaimed, Dimetre's golden tears is one of most prestigious rewards someone could get in all of the Five. It was, after all, handmade by the first saint's daughter. To get such a reward you either need to excel at more than half the sports that exist in the present day or you need to be really smart and revolutionize First's technology. The former is much easier to achieve than the latter, First is ahead of the Nine others by the lifetime of millions times fifty.

Dottie shook his head in confusion by Salem's sudden outburst, "I said Dottie's tear-lick not whatever you just said, and why should I care?"

"Saint Seranoa's Daughter made that! She was the one to get all of humanity out of Old! Her daughter was the reason we were able to survive as a species! Dimitre's golden tears was the last thing her daughter graced into this world! How come they gave it away to someone like Emily?" Salem cried out letting go of the mutilated hair clip.

Dottie stared at her and sighed, "Well she was pretty tall, six feet with eight more inches, good at basketball, golf, tennis, gymnastics, ballet, track, soccer, swim, and a lot more. Emily said she had to stay fit and not end up like those from Olds' old"

Salem sighed at this revelation about Kryta. How could she achieve something so amazing yet be so unknown? The Emily Dottie speaks about is nothing like the Kryta she knows, it's almost like the two they speak of are two separate people.

"Well, the cell is open, don't forget your end of the deal." Salem glared at the man known as Dottie. Dottie didn't look directly in her eye but nodded.

"Don't forget yours as well"
