Ash's POV
I waited stiffly for his answer, my whole body on edge.
"I... That wasn't what I expected you to say, but it is what I wanted. Of course, I'm ready to forgive because I love you too."
I felt myself smile for the second time in two days, a new record! We embraced silently for a few moments before he pulled back and mentioned, "we should probably actually go to first block today or the teacher will have our heads."
We walked hand in hand through the students, some of their faces showing disgust while others held neutrality. It wasn't like either of us really had friends anyway.
As we sat down in Geometry, his head fell onto my shoulder, his soft snores filling my ears. I let him sleep, defending him against the other kids in the room that were doing literally nothing to us. It was instinct, though.
Wait a minute, did he say the Alpha's son? As in, the heir of the Half Moon pack that was supposed to have all of this power? Unless that man had another son. We'll go with that. This boy was too cute and innocent to lead a war.
The bell rang, disturbing his peaceful face from its rest.
"Did I sleep through math?" he moaned tiredly.
"Yup," was my simple response. It may sound creepy, but I had enjoyed watching him sleep. Maybe I'll go with him to his alley every once in a while, or he could come to my home.
He smiled as if he could read my thoughts, but that wasn't possible, right? I grabbed his hand and dragged him along through the crowd, only to be stopped by the man, the myth, the legend... Bradley.
"Why are you two holding hands?" he asked suspiciously.
I was going to be honest, I was going to defend the boy that I truly loved.
"Because I love him a lot."
"But you were straight!"
"People change, Bradley."
He flinched at my usage of his full name. Just to make certain that my message got across, I turned around and locked my lips with Alex's. He eagerly kissed back as if his life depended on it, his beautiful eyes fluttering closed.
We pulled away simultaneously, our shared breath hot against my cheeks. Brad's mouth hung open just like everyone else's in the hall.
"You're a thing!?" he shouted.
I gave him my famous patronizing smile and dragged my cute baby away from the conflict. He wrapped his arms around my neck, his eyes betraying his true feelings. They were darkened with lust, his jaw protruding from underneath his tanned skin. He bit gently on his bottom lip. The only thing I could say about him right now was hotness.
The space between our bodies was rapidly closing. The first parts to touch were our lips, directly followed by his hands on my chest. The way he rubbed it made me feel like the luckiest man in the world, as well as bringing moans out of my mouth and into his. No one else made me feel this way, only him.
I. Love. Him.

The day was almost over, and I was so ready to go back home. I turned my head towards where Alex was seated staring intensely at Brad, barely containing a chuckle because it was charming how possessive he was over me.
Two hands were placed down on the table right in front of us, the owner's face upset beyond belief.
"What the fuck do you want, Winston?'' Alex snapped.
"Could you please just forgive me?" this Winston person pleaded.
"I don't need you anymore, understand?" Boy, was Alex mad.
"Oh please, we both know that isn't true. It's not like you have any friends other than me."
"I do."
I didn't like the way this kid was speaking to my mate, and by the looks of it Alex didn't like it either.
"Where are they?"
I had to jump in. "Aye yo bitch, I'm right here!"
His eyes snapped to mine, his face instantly reading disgust.
"Really, that's the kind of thing you're friends with!?"
Alex growled and I hissed at the same time, shocking the poor boy out of his wits.
"Yes. In fact, this is the person I'm more than friends with. Is that a problem?"
Winston's shocked face looked really funny, his eyebrows pulled so close together that they could be a unibrow.
"Oh that's true, you did turn eighteen. The moon goddess must really hate you!"
Alex lunged for him, using his clenched fists to hit into the boy's face with a ton of force. I ran around the table, about to help. Unfortunately, the teacher chose that moment to walk over.
"What is going on here?!"
The two grappling boys stopped swiftly, but the fire still remained in both of their eyes.
"All three of you to the principal's office, now!''
We walked out with our heads down in shame, but once we were in the halls I joined mine and Alex's hands. Winston made a face at our contact, yet he continued walking. We walked into the office and were escorted to the principal.
Alex visibly tensed once he saw the person behind the desk and dropped my hand. Winston looked smug.
"So you tried to fight your beta, eh?" the person asked.
"Why are you here? Also, he made it very clear that he wasn't my beta anymore."
Then I saw the similarities between Alex and the man. So this bitch was the father. The one who killed my papa. Even though I was seeing red, I had to control myself.
"Huh, you've changed. Who's this?" he asked, referring to me.
"My mate."
The tensions in the room increased tenfold.
"You're mated... To a boy?" he was unnaturally calm.
"Yep."
"Come with me, boy!"
Alex at first tried to stay still until he was dragged out of the room by his ear. Winston was still smirking.
"By the way, I still hate you," I told him angrily. "If he gets hurt, you will never see the end of this."
"Oh believe me, he will be hurt a lot after this."
I felt my control being ripped down second by second. I couldn't reveal myself, I couldn't. But it was so, so difficult. My job wasn't made easier by the thought of Alex being hurt and the fact that I hadn't had a good drink since this time yesterday.
After what felt like years, the door to the outside was opened. I was eager to make sure that my baby boy was okay. I so wanted to rip out his father's throat, meaning that if he came out with a single mark on his perfect body, he would probably have to restrain me from murdering the man and revealing us all.
What I saw when he walked out... Well let's just say that his dad is going to get it.
