Ordinary Human

"I need to finish this as quickly as possible." Liu Kai thought to himself while fighting his enemies.

Liu Kai dodged the scratches of mindless creatures and larvae racing in pursuit of the right angle to strike.

"This is fine." He said to himself after he stopped so suddenly to activate his skill.

[Activate Probability]

[Skill Probability will now be: Activated]

-Probability's Die(Dice) rolls and resulted in number 6.

-Power will multiply by 6.

Liu Kai smiled ear to ear like a devil after he heard the number 6 inside his head.

"Hahahahaha! Take this, scumbags!!!" Liu Kai cursed before jumping and spinning his body in the air and kicked the closest enemy to him.

The kick caused shockwaves that decimated enemies all at once.

"How's that?" Liu Kai talked smack on them.

"I'll eliminate more." Liu Kai thought to himself while maneuvering, dodging, and looking for another opportunity to kill several enemies at once.

His mind handled it in a fast-paced way, and his body kept him involved in doing all the things he needed to do about it as if he had been prepared for it.

Then Liu Kai did it again, and again until his skill 'probability' loses its effect.

'If I'm not mistaken, I can use it for about 15 seconds.' Liu Kai thought about the duration of his skill 'Probability' for a moment.

"Tsk, show off." Jin Chow said in an annoyed tone.

'I refuse to believe that he just woke up.' Jin Chow thought to himself, but let it go for the meantime.

"I won't falter." He jumped and raised his arms and smashed it into the ground, causing fractures on the floor, killing multiple enemies in the process.

After that, nearly all their enemies are gone. In less than a minute, they took out a lot of them by using their skills to the best of their abilities. But there are few enemies left, and now they're tired.

The toll of using the skill 'Probability' has taken effect on Liu Kai's body. The skill is handy to multiply his power to 6 times more potent if he is lucky based on the dice's result, but its consequence is massive. His stamina is barely holding after he used attacks multiplied by sixfold.

Liu Kai can sense that the giant wasp is nearly done with what it's doing.

'This monster is now furious.' Liu Kai thought inwardly after seeing the wasp doing the injection process faster to focus on him after.

"HELP!!! HELP ME! HEL---" The woman begged but was cut off as the Giant Wasp inserted its ovipositor to her mouth.

"Tsk. Jin Chow, I need to focus on the real one. Take care of these remaining zombies for me." Liu Kai shouted to Jin Chow, who was fighting close to him.

"The duration of my skill is expiring, and I can only buy time for about a minute." Jin Chow replied.

"That's enough. Just save yourself after." Liu Kai shouted.

He then dashed towards the giant wasp and leaps above its body after getting closer. He instantly thought to himself, 'Activate Probability.'

[Skill Probability will now be: Activated]

-Probability's Die(Dice) rolls and resulted in number 1.

-Power will multiply by 1.

"WHAT!? NOT NOW." Liu Kai complained about the messages he heard but still proceeds on his high jump kick.

He struck the giant wasp, but it did not sustain any damage at all. Its thick exoskeleton prevented the bug from being damaged — this time, the giant wasp is finished and faces Liu Kai. The woman dropped to the ground and contorted, much like the other lady before.

KUOOOOH!!!!

The Giant Wasp tried to pierce the body of Liu Kai as soon as it was released from the process. Liu Kai immediately stabbed the unexpected assault by the width of his hair.

'That was close.' He thought to himself.

It didn't surprise the giant wasp at all, and it didn't give him time to recover, since it repeatedly struck him, using its front legs like a spear attempting to pierce him. Liu Kai, who had barely been stabbed by the front leg attack earlier, was forced to withdraw.

The giant gasp is relatively small compared to the giant cockroach, but it is much faster and more robust.

The situation worsened for Liu when the woman from earlier stood up and attacked Liu Kai as well.

"Flesh, flesh, flesh! Give me your flesh!" The woman chanted.

His eyes widened after he saw her coming closer.

"Damn it. I can't dodge them both." Liu Kai cursed while dodging the wasp. He suddenly remembered what he did to escape the cockroach before. "That's right, run to a tight space." He whispered. He ran deeper inside the forest while the two followed him.

"Let's reduce the enemy first, shall we?" He hypothesized and stopped beside a tree. The woman followed him, and he surprised the woman by kicking her head. Her head exploded from the impact, and blood sprayed on the ground.

'I'm sorry. That's enough suffering from you.' Liu Kai thought to himself as he felt sorry that he didn't manage to save her earlier and was frustrated about it, but he can't keep her alive anymore.

Liu Kai ran out of the giant wasp, came after the lady, and went on to strike. It caught up to its heightened pace and began its barrage of attacks by using its other legs to eliminate the trees in its path.

"Tsk. This is smarter than a mere cockroach." Liu Kai complained.

He barely dodged the assaults and could not come up with a counter-attack strategy. No, forget about the counter-attack, he can't even conceive of a way to run. He sustained cuts on his back from not being able to avoid completely, and he became dizzy from blood loss.

That all came from the harm he had just received and the attacks he had deliberately received from the senseless creatures inflicting damage on him from the beginning to trigger 'Berserk.'

Liu Kai doesn't want to use the form sooner, but he doesn't have a better way to trigger 'Berserk.'

"I shouldn't have preferences for fighting." Liu Kai said to himself, thinking back that he's weak and doesn't have any talents. "I should be thankful now that I have a skill that can give me strength when taking damages." He said after realizing how grateful he should be.

However, all of those thoughts went away after the wasp's front leg slapped the reality out of him.

*****

There's still a single mindless human alive running from Jin Chow.

"Tsk. That creature evaded my attack just in time. Just a few more seconds with my blessing and this should be done." Jin Chow's frustration was painted all over his face after his skill expired. It quit running after it felt that he was shaking.

While it seems small, it is powerful enough to destroy hundreds of average citizens. And Jin Chow, without his abilities, is just a human being. They're better because the worse the host appeared, the healthier the parasite inside. No human can overcome an expanded insect, even though it is a first stage type.

Jin Chow stayed standing, raising his arms like a boxer. He tried his hardest to focus and think of a way to beat his opponent, but he couldn't come up with anything. His insecurity eventually takes the most out of him. His opponent might well sense the fright.

The wasp sprint ahead and Jin Chow read his motions right. He ducked to avoid the attack, and once he had reached the wasp, he kicked it, contributing to the momentum of the wasp's pace forward, and it bounced across the ground several times.

The creature is now furious that, amid his apprehension, Jin Chow can still fight, his arms can't stop trembling, facing the senseless creature.

"I got lucky this time." He mumbled.

It is now wary of his speed and moves forward. This time the Wasp is getting closer to him slowly, observing his movements.

"Hehehehehe." The creature mockingly laughed at him.

Jin Chow returned to his position and prepared himself for something that could happen.

The creature realizes it's quicker than him, and he intends to use it as an advantage. Jin Chow pushes his right leg forward, still protecting his body with his arms, and faces the Wasp again.

It targeted Jin Chow, who was standing and defending himself from doing nothing. It flew around him and loved injuring him in various ways while laughing at him.

Jin Chow stayed in his spot and tried to locate the creature with his eyes and move his body to face it and not to expose his back.
