Roundhouse Kick

"You have a different motive, what is it?" He tried to catch him off guard and see if he would slip. Then he released his aura at the same time to intimidate King Lee into revealing his motives that Liu Kai was adamant about knowing.

"Hahaha! You really are different." King Lee laughed as he resigned himself from slowly leading them into his other agenda.

"You have very keen senses, my friend. Yes, you're right. I do have another motive, and that is to get help from the three of you. After experiencing first-hand how capable you all are, I thought that it would be a great deal to us if you helped the village." King Lee explained as he stopped walking and faced them with showing his sincerity.

"When I'm patrolling earlier, I rushed in to protect the technology we have nearby volcanic arcs. I wasn't originally thinking of doing this, that's why I'm forcing all of you to get lost before you see the village." King Lee added.

Liu Kai still didn't believe him, but he concealed his presence for the time being.

"We are creating an army strong enough to raid Sheng Chan. Come, follow me, and I'll show you what we have in store." He urged them to follow him into what seemed to be a path to somewhere.

They kept walking and ended up in a house redesigned to what looked to be a training area. They noticed writing on top of the doorway that said 'Thousand Hands Do,' which was derived from his nickname from his early days before the catastrophe happened.

"This is where all of the humans that remained under the dwarves train themselves to participate in the raid. I might be young and around the same age as all of you are, but I have been humbled by everyone. They have accepted my tutelage and been made the Shifu of this establishment." said King Lee as he proudly presented the place.

The three were both impressed and intrigued at the same time. They let King Lee explain everything to them and just observed.

"I see that everyone knows how to do Breathing Techniques. If you would allow me, I can teach you more about your breathing techniques. There's more to it than what you currently know." King Lee appealed.

This didn't rub Liu Kai the right way and got more irritated by how King Lee spoke. This triggered Liu Kai to show what he was capable of.

[Activate Concentrated Breathing]

He strengthened both of his legs to pounce forward and shifted the power to his right arm in an instant and swung to punch King Lee.

King Lee quickly puts up his guard, gets into a stance to parry Liu Kai's strike. He was pleasantly surprised that Liu Kai knew how to use 'Concentrated Breathing.'

"Amazing! You even learned how to use the Concentrated Technique. Just how much have you learned to master with your body?" King Lee asked in amazement.

Liu Kai suddenly remembered the 'Locked Techniques' on his Skillset when he was asked by King Lee.

'Oh, right! He's a Martial Artist. Maybe he knows what the system is referring to.' Liu Kai thought to himself.

"Well, why don't we find out right now? Are you up for it?" said King Lee, smiled at Liu Kai. Liu Kai nodded.

"Very well. Let's go to the training hall."

He led them further inside the building where there was an arena-like structure in the middle of the training hall. A square-shaped stage that spanned ten meters and stairs on each side. Inside were humans that numbered at least fifty, sparring each other. They all stopped once they saw their master arrive and bowed to pay their respects.

King Lee signaled them to line up and to clear the area. The students of the place started to descend from the stage to line up on one side and stood in a disciplined manner. King Lee approached the arena and called upon Wang Xiu Ying, one of his students, to officiate the match that was about to happen between him and Liu Kai. They got up in the arena and faced each other.

Everyone was watching from the sidelines, including Sergio and Jin. The officiating student came up and glanced at both his master and the person who dared to challenge his Shifu.

"If you can get a single hit on me, you win." King Lee challenged as he got into a martial art stance.

Liu Kai smirked at his remark and got into his usual stance as well. The student then swooshes down his hand and yells…

"KAI SHI!!"

Liu Kai activated his 'Concentrated Breathing' on his right foot to dash forward in an instant and shifted to his left arm to punch King Lee but he dodged it easily by tilting his body. He noticed that King Lee was now also using a breathing technique.

Liu Kai knew that his speed while using 'Concentrated Breathing' could not compare to his Berserk State with 20% health remaining, not to mention the additional buffs he received from the Giant Fishing Spider's venom. He can try all day but he won't get a hit on King Lee if he continues like this.

"Is dodging all you can do? Is that what you teach here in your little fighting school?" Liu Kai provoked as he circled King Lee who remained in his starting position. He plans to receive damage from King Lee's blows to activate his 'Berserk' Skill to a manageable degree.

"I'm afraid you will lose right away if I fight back now. I would like to see the extent of your abilities. So please do not hold back, you would not come close to hurting me anyway." King Lee boasted back at him.

"Tsk." Liu Kai clicked his tongue in annoyance as he lunged to continue his barrage of attacks but King Lee dodged all of them easily like he did when they first fought.

"What's the problem? Activate your skill again." King Lee noticed something different from Liu Kai's movements. He was less aggressive and slower.

"I can't even if I wanted to." Liu Kai argued as he kept attacking with punches mixed with a flurry of kicks.

"And why is that?" King Lee questioned while avoiding the attacks.

"That's for you to find out!"

"Alright, I'll just beat it out of you—…" King Lee suddenly disappeared from Liu Kai's field of vision. Liu Kai put his guard up and rotated his body to sense which direction Lee was going to attack.

"I'll be sure to get some answers." Liu Kai turned around as King Lee spoke but as soon as he faced his opponent, a foot landed on his face from a roundhouse kick and sent him across the room.
