Surprise Combo

"Get ready!" The referee announced.

Jao and Drake shortly poised themselves on the ring's floor, positioning their feet to balance themselves properly.

Jao's stance was called "Kokutsu Dachi."

It is a common low stance in Karate that has an imbalanced distribution of weight.

The primary foot was stepped forward, diagonally aligned to the primary shoulder, which was the right foot and right shoulder in Jao's case.

The secondary foot, or the rear, which was the left in Jao's case, was the one taking almost all the weight of his body.

It is turned about ninety degrees to his left side, including his body.

The right foot, which is the one extended forward, Jao's head, and right fist, was the only part of his body pointed at Drake.

It is a great defensive position in Karate with a variety of counter-attacks to utilize if the user is in a tight position.

On the other hand, Drake has a shallow stance.
