People who had inhuman abilities started to show up, and creatures of terror pouring out from who knows where—plunging the whole world into utter mayhem. These vile foreign creatures took over the Three of the Ten Domains, while the remaining are barely holding their borders from the monsters. Everyone looked to the man who was once called the "10th World Monarch", the symbol of authority and power, for guidance through their intense hardships. However, he was nowhere to be found. All hope was lost.
The protagonist of the story, born after the formation of the Domains, rescued an old man from a dangerous situation that led him in harm's way. Being in a vegetative state, he was unaware of everything in the outside world, including The Great Catastrophe. Waking up with the world already in ruins, and people adapted to the changes. Karina's ice-protected body soared back in the air after Koji's giant human boulder body traveled to another side of the octagon ring, striking her in the process.

She was prepared for what's about to come, but it still hit her before she could react.

This time, the thin ice armor on her left hip cracked when Koji knocked her into the air.

"Hahahaha! Are you mad now, Fatty!? I managed to force you to show a hidden technique on your sleeve successfully. Let's see what else you have in store!" Karina unworriedly said as she fell on the floor.

"Tch! Stop being presumptuous! This technique was enough to take you down!" replied Koji as he stretched the ropes again for another assault.

Karina grinned inside her ice armor and jumped as soon as she landed on the floor, assuming that there is a fixed time interval before Koji could attack.
