A Great Lost
It's been a year since his summer vacation, nothing really happen on the past year except his sister being born, which he doted on greatly. Now he is turning 7 in a few days and so he decided to just enjoy his childhood while he still can, he stopped his operations for now because he has a little over 50 million in his bank account, enough for him to get by. He was really happy right now, he didn't think that he would experience a life like this. But not everything in life is rainbows and butterflies.
The day of his birthday at his house, the whole family is enjoying their meal when suddenly a fire broke out, it was unknown for now how the fire started but the whole family was now panicking. When Drei was about to be hit by the falling ceiling his dad pushed him, inturn getting squashed by the fire, he tried and tried to pull him out. But it was too late, the house exploded and all he could save is his baby sister. Luckily they were safe, just only a few small scratches and burns. As for his parents....
It was a tragic event that would drive him to investigate it for vengeance. After an hour, a firemen came and put out the fire, Nat's mom came and hugged him and his baby sister. Worried that they were hurt she took them to the hospital, where he passed out from the mental shock of his parents death.
A week pass at the funeral, many people that they helped came. When everyone left except for Drei, his baby sister Lisa, and Nat's family. His grandfather showed up, took his sister away from him and told him " We will raise her in respect to your mother's death, as for you you little bastard. You're on your own." . He was still shocked to say anything, because of what happened he became lost. Not knowing what to do, refusing to eat . Nat was worried about him, she didn't want to him lost himself. Nat approached him and talked to, comforting him that everything will be alright. Drei just cried on her shoulder until he felt better, he knows he has to move on for him to know what really happened. After a week of mourning with the help of Nat's family, he somewhat recovered. Then he recieved a letter stating that all his parents belongings will be given to his grandparents, even his business that he built for years. He was outraged but at the same time he knew he couldn't do anything about it. He was just a kid with no strength, power or influence. Although he was angry about what happened, he knows he will have to wait and just let it go for now. After another week, everything went back to normal. He stayed at Nat's house. Although he didn't want to at first, they insisted because they were already like family, and so life goes even with the tragic lost of his parents. This event drove Drei and Nat closer than ever, after knowing that Nat will have his no matter what happens his feelings grew even more unbeknownst to him.
