Escape 2(old)
"I-I can get you out of here safely" I put my blade to his neck. "H-how about m-money I can give you lots of money!" He said stuttering profusely while beads of sweat ran down his face.
"I'm listening" I said cooly.
"O-oh I-I can get you lots and lots of money, hundreds no thousands of silver!"
"Oh~ where is it?"
"H-here I can bring you there!"
I pushed the blade to his throat just enough for a small stream of blood to come out. "Tsk tsk tsk that don't do" I said. "How about this you lead us upstairs draw me a map and we can leave without a problem and of course I'll spare you as an added bonus!! Also you don't have to worry about me double crossing you, I am after all a woman of her promise!!" I said in a cheery tone while slightly putting more force on the dagger.
In the end he agreed while shaking his head vigorously. And just as he promised he drew a map to his secret stash.
When he lifted the pen from the parchment I stabbed him right about where his kidney would be. "B-but you promised-"
"To spare you? But I am, I'm sparing you of living the rest of your miserable life!"
"!!?" Pure shock, confusion and then fear were visible on his face as he took his last breath. I obviously wouldn't have trusted him, he would have just put some tracking magic on my clothes, gotten some goons and come attack me later.

After hiding the body in a closet of sorts I went back down the stairs and grabbed the children. When I got home o the bottom of the stairs the girl named Sharla jumped onto me and started to look all over my body for what I assumed were injuries after letting out a sigh of relief.
The only things left of the fight were two scars one on each arm form the sword and one from the fire arrow. Then it occurred to me that I hadn't checked my status yet. I decided against it as the people in front of me would think I was crazy.
After a while I decided to bring them to a church where they would be taken care of. When we got there Sharla wouldn't let go of me and refused to go. I decided to bring her with me as she was set on staying with me.
When we exited the church I received another message,

I sat there for a couple seconds contemplating, before I decided to hit the Y option. In front of Sharla a message appeared stating "You have joined Shessefe's party!" At first she seemed confused but regained her composure and what me "What is this" with great curiosity. After thinking about it for a bit I decided to tell her about everything I knew about the strange "gift" as I called it.
When we reached the spot we had traveled a good 2 miles outside of town and arrived in-front of a giant willow tree. I immediately got to digging. About an hour later I had dug up a small chest that was 3x4x5. And was filled to the brim with silver and gold coins with a couple copper mixed in here and there.
I sat there for a few second contemplating what to do and then I thought of my "gift", surely there is something it could do.
When I opened my status I was bombarded with messages.

"+50 exp you have finished your first side quest!"

"Requirements have been met, you have now unlocked your inventory!"

The first the I did was use my minor all seeing eyes to inspect what these skill point were as I had been curious about it for a while.
"Skill points: used to increase your base stats. Acquired when you level up!"
Again I became curious and inspected the words "base stats"
"Base stats: these consist of of your strength, agility, perception, etc., etc."
I thought on it for a while before deciding I would deal with it later.
