Special Chapter: "Pizza toast with Eisha~"

"Hmmm...something quick to make...." - Eisha

I received a call from Sora that she won't be able to come home right away due to an important matter that she needs to handle, and she is seriously on the clock with her work sometimes.

I was thinking of what to cook for myself since Sora won't be home, so I looked around the kitchen to see if there are any ingredients I can use for any kind of food I may be able to make. I looked in to every corner of the kitchen, but the only one that caught my attention are the pizza sauce and sliced bread. I hit an idea of making Pizza Toast for myself today.

I listed down the ingredients for making pizza toast as well as research on how to operate the oven.

The ingredient are:

- Sliced bread

- Pizza sauce

- Mozzarella

- Any toppings

- Parsley

Seeing how I have all the ingredients needed as well as having read on how to operate the oven, I preheat the oven to 350°F because I remember Sora always telling me to always preheat the oven before baking anything.

I grab a baking sheet with some parchment paper on it because it is where I will place the bread and evenly spread the pizza sauce on top of the bread without making it soggy or anything. I shredded the mozzarella on top of the bread with sauce but for some reason, I tightly gripped the mozzarella and caused a mess on the table where I am preparing the food.

"I need to clean this up later...Sora is seriously scary when angry..." - Eisha

I put the crushed mozzarella on a container and grabbed a new mozzarella, and I shredded it properly this time without tightly gripping the mozzarella and not sticking to my hand a lot.

I am not a good cook or baker or whatever whenever it comes to food. I remember burning the bread when I am supposed to toast it or that time when I was supposed to just cook scrambled eggs for breakfast and end up burning it as well or the time when I forgot to remove the plastic wrapper of a leftover food in the microwave and of course...it did not turn out well.

"I do improve along the way..." - Eisha

Once all the bread is covered in good amounts of mozzarella, I grabbed my toppings~

"Top it with sliced mushroom....leftover bacon....pineapple?" - Eisha

After putting all the toppings I wanted, I put the prepared good food of mine in the oven properly.

"Now we have to wait for the mozzarella to melt completely..." - Eisha

The reason I chose to bake some pizza toast and not other dishes despite I do have a lot of different ingredients, the pizza toast reminded me of my sister when we used to do a lot of new dishes together, of course mine turns out to be either burnt or under cooked but my sister Yoru always share with me.

"I really want to share some time with Yoru again.." - Eisha

I just stared at the oven window where I could see the pizza toast turn into the actual pizza toast as well as checking the mozzarella if it has completely melted. Even though the mozzarella has melted, I leave it for another five to ten minutes to toast the bread as well.

When the mozzarella has completely melted, I grabbed a timer and set to ring when ten minutes have passed. I stared at the pizza toast baking in the oven again but my mind shifted again to some old memories I had.

I remember as well the time when Yoru was still a crybaby, and I would be always be the one to stand up and protect her. I really hope I did my job as an older brother for her because after some time, she started to mature and it felt really great but also lonely, I wonder if I am like those fathers who have daughters.

*RING* *RING* *RING*

I really miss her very much...I always ask sometimes when I am alone on how is she? is she doing well? what life does she have right now?

*RING* *RING* *RING*

The annoying ringing sound brought my sense back to reality and I saw the pizza toast nearly getting burnt when I pulled it out because the bread was a bit hard when I poked on it.

"It's slightly burnt...ugh...but this sure brings back memories~" - Eisha

I took the first bite on one of the pizza toast and when move the bread further, the mozzarella stretched longer and longer as well as the crunchiness of my slightly burnt pizza toast.

In conclusion....

"I am satisfied~!" - Eisha
