Experimentation time despite the War?!
While we are traversing in the Galaeron forest to go to war with the human army, I was sitting down on a carriage pulled by 2 horses. The carriage is carrying Rose and I along with some supplies to supply the soldiers who are going to battle.
As for my role, I will be the 'scientist' and not an 'ultimate mage' of the Elves or be the 'commander' of the elf mage division.
I remembered that when I 'fell' on the world I created and got locked out of my own divine realm because of Seraph, I though that since I am a goddess and the creator of this world, I am basically OP, but I don't want any hectic adventures or misadventures, I want a 'fun' adventure.
So in simpler terms or words, I have made the war as my so called 'target practice' but along that 'target practice' is me helping the elves and establishing connections with good impressions, and I am not a bad person, it is because the elves have very good drinks like the sweet honey~ fluid~ from Midori~...I mean the World Tree not Midori, it's complicated. They are also very good magic so learning how to control any degree of magic or spells, ask the elves.
I looked at the countless list of spells which I wanted to try in the 'target practice' area as well as the difficulty rankings which indicates how difficult it is to learn and control, but I just got the strong ones easily because Sora just uploaded it to my brain and voila~! I am goddess after all though Sora said I have to still practice it so I don't know how to properly use it well.
Difficulty ranking from strongest(top) to weakest(bottom):
1. Divine
2. Legendary
3. Mythical
4. Grand Master
5. Master
6. Apprentice
7. Common
List of Spells/Magic:
1. Incendium - creates a blue fire storm that the user can control and burning anything in its path may it be metal or a living being. Level of difficulty: Mythical
2. Explosivae - creates an explosion on a certain point and destroying anything within the limited area. Types of explosivae: parum explosivae and explosivae totalum. Level of Difficulty: Legendary
3. Furens aquas - creates a water that the user can control to any certain degree and can be used for offensive or defensive use. Level of Difficulty: Legendary
Those three is what I want to try mostly in the battlefield along with many more spells, and death is something I have to overcome as well as killing someone.
Overcoming the death of someone is something I could overcome, but killing someone is just a whole new perspective which truly makes me look everything in a different way since I created this world.
Everything around me is real, everything around me is breathing and living, and everything around me must be protected as my job being the creator and goddess on this world of mine.
Since we are going to take some time before we make contact, I started to call out for Sora inside my head just to calm myself down.
"Sora, are you there?" - Eisha
(Sora: What is it, idiot sandwich?)
"Since when did that become my nickname?" - Eisha
I only remember doing something idiotic when I was making contact and establishing connection with the elves.
(Sora; doesn't matter, so what do you call me here for when I am almost finished with your request?)
"Sorry for interrupting your work, but I have no one to talk to since Rose is doing her job as commander-in-chief thing" - Eisha
(Sora: then play shogi inside your head or play music inside your head or maybe smack your head somewhere so that you are no longer an idiot sandwich)
"Sure sure...I'll behave..." - Eisha
I am really wondering what kind of attitude Sora has, one time she will be kind and caring then another time she will be not caring at all. Sora is very difficult to read at all though she doesn't have a body and only a voice inside my head.
Anyways, I would be thinking everything to myself while Sora finishes my request.
First of all, I hate the humans doing slavery and just the slavery part. I really want to have someone do it for me though because I want to go on an adventure than go all political, but as a goddess, I think I should be doing something about it together with someone who knows how the political minds in my world runs around the clock.
Right now, my only option is to do a little 'negotiation' with the leaders of every kingdom since I am locked out of my divine realm where I could control time as well as do blessings, miracles, divine messages, and especially create a system.
My 'negotiations' would go from barging in the place of each leaders then dragging them and do a little 'talk' but if they did not comply, I will 'shoot' them~ I am such a genius.
(Sora: Idiot sandwich, you are becoming a bit like a dictator and you are scary. You better not create a cult because of that)
Oh crap, I even forgot that Sora can read my thoughts, but can she read it all though?
"Don't worry~ in every world there would always be a cult, and I am the goddess after all so you know what I can do in my world~" - Eisha
The conversation with Sora did not calm me down but make my blood boil because she keeps calling me an idiot sandwich though I kept my face and body posture composed towards other but in the inside, I am filled with rage because of Sora. I really want to smack her down sometimes.
After the whole conversation with Sora, a scout came close to Rose and told her about the army being a few hundred metres ahead and the whole war was about to start.
"Everyone, get ready in your battle positions and ready your weapons, archers and mages, wait for my command!" - Rose
I jumped down from the carriage and start stretching my body though I think I felt some stares towards me, is this what women kept saying that they can easily feel someone's stare towards them? then Rose walked towards me with her face red and whispered something.
"Eisha...I think you better cover yourself more...you are beautiful you know right and we are at war?" - Rose
I was called beautiful for the first time in my life. As for the suggestion of Rose, I didn't cover myself up because when I looked around towards the army of elves, I saw eyes lit up for some reason with different intentions and emotions but I saw one thing in common, they are willing to fight more than ever.
I don't want to be narcissistic but being beautiful is nice and all, and I don't want to the elves fighting because of my beauty but for their own people.
After the whole awkward situation, it is a good thing everyone went back to their senses in some ways or another because I still felt stares towards me, and it is giving me chills like making your hair stand up and your muscles tensing up because of those stares.
I really want to shout at them to focus on the war that is about to happen in any moment right now. It is war for them but target practice for me because I don't know how to properly use all the spells and I can also create my own spells which I will do later after the experimentation.
As everyone went to their positions and set up their offensive and defensive positions, I just casually walked to the front lines and just concentrated on the spells I will use when it starts.
After a few more minutes of waiting, we started to hear the metal making noises, wood creaking from their artillery each time they move, and their horns sounding throughout the Galaeron forest.
The army of humans stopped near us where we could see each other, and we saw the huge number of soldiers the human army has as well as their huge artillery and mages division that completely outnumbers us all. It truly made me wonder as to what the king or emperor from whatever territory they came from is thinking but I really want to 'negotiate' with them right now though I have this 'target practice' to do with the spells Sora gave me and the spells I created.
The human army started to make a path for someone that looks like a higher ranking officer, and he sure is intimidating to look at. He looks like in his fifties or forties, and he has a scar over his left eye which seems to be blind, the stare he gives out is like intense blood lust but at the same time I can somehow tell that he has other motives...for the women to become his 'property' which I am not letting it happen.
Rose also went forward to see who the high ranking officer is, and she looked like she has met him because the face she made was disgust, hatred, anger, and fear. I don't know what kind of history these two have but I am pretty sure it was something I shouldn't just pry into.
The old man has sent someone riding a horse carrying a scroll, and as the soldier got closer and closer, the elves aren't flinching or panicking at all like brave warriors. When the soldier stop just a some distance away, he unraveled the scroll and started reading its contents to us.
"A message to all Elves from the Leonis Human Empire's Emperor, Emperor William Harold Leonis II, all Elves must stand down and cooperate with the Empire, the Emperor wishes to discuss a friendly diplomatic rela-" - messenger
Before even the messenger could fully read everything written in the scroll from the Emperor, Rose shot an arrow to his head.
The bow Rose used is a beautiful weapon from what I can see, filled with inscriptions, glowing line patterns, and the wood is from the branch of the World Tree, Midori. Her posture is beautiful as it looks like something out from a story book I have once read when I was a kid, and I am quite amazed on how Rose just handled the situation, just shoot the messenger before he could fully finished what he needed to say.
"Bad people seriously talk a lot...if they are bad, shoot them, no talking...EVERYONE! CHARGE!" - Rose
When Rose ordered everyone to charge, they all started running towards the human army.
The foot soldiers grabbed their swords pointed towards their enemy, the archers readied their bows and arrows, the cavalry running towards the enemy with their sword drawn and ready to kill, and the mages chanting their spells to support the soldiers. All of them are under the command of Rose, but I had other plans.
"Incendium....turn into a raging dragon and consume my enemies!" - Eisha
A giant blue fire dragon rose up to the sky from my hands, and the dragon is so huge that I would say that the bright light of the dragon caused the sky to turn black as well. For me, it was amazing that the spell was successful but for the ones who will receive it won't be too happy about it.
With the dragon suspended mid air and looking towards the humans, it looked very intimidating so I guess it is a complete success.
Now the next one would be explosivae totalum spell that I want to use before the incedium spell fly towards the human army, and I can't believe I have to go all full chuuni in this world, chanting the spells is so embarrassing but I still continued with it.
"At the start of creation...you are its destruction...you are its end...explosivae totalum!" - Eisha
I pointed at the center of the human army to where I want it to explode, I only wanted to break the formation as well as reduce the numbers of the human army significantly but when the spell activated...
"Uwaah...quite...unexpected...well let's just have the fire finish it off and put a sleeping spell on the high ranking officer..."
I wasn't able to fully control on how powerful it should be but when the explosive spell activated, it was like a big explosion creating a mushroom cloud and I told the incedium spell to finish anyone off except for the high ranking officer.
When the incedium spell is doing its job, I looked back to see the faces of the elven soldiers filled with confusion and fear, and some have fainted from the spectacle they have seen form the spells I used.
"I think....I have overdone it...probably...haha" - Eisha
(Sora: YOU IDIOTIC OVERPOWERED MC! KNOW HOW TO CONTROL YOUR MAGIC! your intentions, ideas, plans, and all are something praiseworthy but HOW you handle it is like an IDIOT SANDWICH!)
While ignoring Sora in my head, I thought that I'll use these kinds of spells for 'negotiations' with the kings and queens of every kingdom then~
But I think the explanation for the Elves comes first....because Rose is staring at me like a lion.
I was giving out an awkward smile because I don't know what exact words I should say on what just happened, and Rose..I think you need to calm down first....because I got grabbed on from both shoulders by her and shouted at me.
